“Haven't been in years but the quality is still superb! Happy hour was a hit with my 22year old. She isnt a drinker though. Glad to know! Suzie the waitress was a Class Act! ?”
“The food here is so amazing! The staff last night were so accommodating and patient. Our server Daniel gave us great recommendations on the menu and was very patient in working with our food allergies. It was super busy but he made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. It was our first experience eating here and daniel made the evening a blast with his high end service. The food and drinks were 10/10, we will definitely be back!”
“I love this place! Hadn't been in a couple years and went the other night for a drink and some apps.....we just missed happy hour, but everything is worth the price! The blood orange margaritas are amazing, and the brussel sprouts are soooo good! We're definitely going back for the brunch! Our bartender Will was the best. Gave recommendations on his fav's and was attentive but never intrusive.Of course the view is gorgeous. Even sitting at the bar you get an amazing view of Downtown.”
“This is our new favorite place ☺️ homemade pasta, goooorgeous pesto, yummy entrees. Just be sure to make a rezzy, or you’ll be sad! Even on a Wednesday nightKid-friendliness: Pizza!!”
“I came across Pachamama on Instagram, looked at their page and decided I had to try it out. The pictures online were great, but they barely do this place justice. I truly had a 5 star meal in the most unexpecting place. In a single standing building on Madison Ave. stands Pachamama Kitchen and Garden, a Spanish style tapas restaurant. The inside is super quaint, only holding maybe 12 or so tables. My dad and I were immediately greeted by Will, who would be our server and bartender. This place really feels like a labor of love, operated by two partners who have a love for cooking and fusing together their cultural cuisines. The decor is simple, clean, and cozy and there was great Samba music quietly playing. I started with the hibiscus margarita, which was only $8 during happy hour. Although it was a little sweeter than I would have liked, the drink was tasty and refreshing.. The menu is on chalk boards above the bar. I pulled it up on my phone and was handed the specials, also on mini chalkboards. The menu isn't big. There's maybe 10 or so items on it, but everything we tried was excellent. Everything is made for sharing, so my dad and I got 3 tapas, which I thought wouldn't be enough initially, but it certainly was. We tried the prosciutto deviled eggs, choripan sliders, and the steak chimichurri flatbread. The bread on the sliders was toasted but soft and the lemon basil aoili was absolutely delicious. The steak chimichurri was delightful. It comes with a ton of pomme frites on top of the flatbread, which were perfectly fried, well seasoned, and are a dish on their own. The chimichurri sauce was fresh and light and the steak was just right for this flatbread. It was cut super thin and cooked so soft that you could easily take a bite of the whole flatbread without having to stop and chew steak. The unexpected star of the meal was definitely the apple, dulce de leche cheesecake we had for dessert. Will was so kind as to tell us a little bit about how the dulce de leche is made (8) hours and I can definitely say that the chef really put his foot into that sauce! It was creamy, yet thick and mixed with an apple compote on top of a NY style baked cheesecake. We were stuffed, but couldn't put our forks down. Overall, it was a really great experience. This is the type of place I'd love to return to in a few months not only to try out more dishes, but to check out their specials. It seems like the chef has a great time coming up with new interesting dishes.”
“Phenomenal!!! Great ambiance, amazing food and the best service. We had a late date night dinner and truly enjoyed every aspect of Molto Bene. We shared the veal special and the shrimp penne dishes and both were to die for. Carlo is so friendly and attentive. We will absolutely be back and recommend this place to all our friends & family!”
“It's never a breeze going out to dinner with a 5 and a 3 year old but the whole staff at El Carnicero did an amazing job and made sure the experience was smooth sailing from the start! The guacamole was delicious and fresh and they made sure there was never a shortage of chips for both the guacamole and the girls. The Floutas and the Barbacoa were both indescribable outside the word delightful. We finished with the fried ice cream. I could go on and on about the food but the short and sweet of it is its on another level from any restaurants nearby. The most important part of the meal to highlight was the staff though. The server was very helpful and made sure the meal was timed perfectly for us and the kids. The supporting staff was very friendly and even gave us some tips on other restaurants they recommend in other areas of Cleveland. The hosts upfront were super friendly to the kids and left them with all smiles. No matter what aspect of a restaurant you care about, it's a guarantee El Carnicero will check that box and leave you with only one regret... that you didn't come here sooner!”
“Hit up a mid-week happy hour. The cocktails were solid - both for happy hour and after. The food was exceptional too, especially the burger.Staff/bartenders were very friendly and helpful and the vibe was laid back. We felt welcomed. 10/10 - will be returning.”
“Food was amazing, waitress was fun and friendly but not meant to be a waitress. Forgot everything. It was good that I was catching up with friends as it took her 3 hours to serve ”
“One of the two best pizza places in Cleveland, and one of the two best in the U.S. imo. The Tomato pie is perfection. Hard to believe a pizza without cheese could be this good, but it’s better than pizza with cheese. Friendly staff! Oh… And they have Hendrick’s gin.”
“I am a sushi connoisseur. I lived in Los Angeles for a very long time and ate at dozens of different sushi places. I know it's good.Voodoo tuna nails it. Super fresh fish. That is the most important. Of course. Then there is the flavor and presentation.Today I had a poke bowl. But I've had many of the other dishes. I like my sushi really spicy. Hamachi with jalapeno kind of thing. You'll never go wrong at this place. The quality is superb.Alyssa at the bar is an angel who takes care of everyone. This is right around the corner for me and is my new home for sushi night.”
“The food is always good here. But today it took a little while even though there wasn't anyone in front of me. I guess they had a lot of door dash orders.Vegetarian options: I typically will get a Quesadilla with fajita pepper's, black beans, Guacamole, cheese, and lots of cilantro and Pico”
“This is my go-to Indian takeout in the area. I've been here at least a dozen times for the chicken tikka masala. By far the best I've had in the Cleveland area! Love the people that work there too, very friendly and welcoming.Vegetarian options: All options I've tried have been tasty.”
“Can’t stop coming back to this place!!!! The food is so delicious and unique, I have never ordered something that I did not absolutely love. They change their specials semi regularly and every time it is stuff so unique and tasty! Service is always incredible, wonderful selection of beers, and the place is always so clean and inviting. It’s perfect for big or small groups and any time of day. It’s a little pricey but no more than any other similar restaurant in the area and unlike a lot of other places you get really great portion sizes so the price has never bothered me. The ingredients are clearly fresh too so the price makes sense to me!”
“They're only two pizzas. I would drive from Painesville to Lakewood for... and this is one of them. The atmosphere is light and airy and the staff is very friendly and attentive. A must try if you're in the area.”
“These are small dishes which we were told are made to share. I dont understand why they serve only 3 items on a plate if it s meant to be shared. Why not 2 or 4? Anyway, food was good. Wagu was a bit raw for me. We ordered all the desserts and didnt really like any of them. You wont walk out with any leftovers in fact we were still hungry but...”
“Very good and fresh sushi. The restaurant transports you straight into a Japanese anime or soap opera, with its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance is not just nice, but invigorating, providing a refreshing contrast to the hustle and bustle outside.Parking: The parking is filled because of the neighborhood restaurants.”
“As a devoted foodie, this place is practically my weekly ritual. The daily rotation of food trucks posted on their website is a game-changer, and each local option is a winner. My personal favorite is Betty's Bomb A$$ Burgers--consistently satisfying and hearty. The truck park is always buzzing with activity, creating a perfect atmosphere to hang out with friends, and the best part? Pets are more than welcome! Sharing some highlights from my summer food adventures below.”
“The food was mediocre but filling and the drinks are overpriced IMO.However, the Drag Brunch was so much fun! I would definitely go back,I would also love to try the Drag Bingo. The entertainers were a lot of fun! Very engaging and Monica Lexin was top notch as a hostess!”
“I love this place for a quick, healthy bite to eat. I usually go for their vegetarian wrap, but you can also build your own wraps or salads. The vegetarian wrap is really delicious. I've had their smoothies too which are good, although at $8 they're a little pricy. I like that they have a rewards program and I can order on the app to get my food quickly. It's a great place to stop when you're on the go!”
“A nice little gem in Lakewood. It’s nice and clean in the inside. It gives me a mom and pop restaurant vibes. Small but cute. The outside where they have the igloos at were beautiful. You have to book 2 months in advance if you want to sit outside and have dinner in the igloos. The food was delicious. I mean I had no complaints at all. The Harvest salad was so good omg. I had the seared salmon with garlic mashed potatoes, and a squash and zucchini mix. When I tell you the prices are reasonable and the service was amazing. I will definitely be coming back here. I gotta put them in my top 5. I would highly recommend this restaurant plus it’s cute if you wanna go out with your friends or a date night with your significant other.”
“Our server ,Jess was very sweet ,helpful and friendly. We happen upon this place just by accident. We are very glad that we did. The food was very good very reasonable. I got the BLT with fries and my husband got the beef Wellington pierogies and it was less than $50. Everything on the menu is local. And they tell you so on the menu where it came from.”
“I always love coming to this place. The food always taste so good, and their pricing is not that bad. The atmosphere of the restaurant is super cool, and they have Horchata, which I really like to drink. The staff is always super friendly and very helpful, and the store itself is always clean. 10/10Parking: There’s a few spots on the street, but chances are those spots are already taken by somebody else. If they are, you can always park on a side road”
“First time I've been to this place. I ordered the peppers appetizer, which was incredible 10/10. I also ordered veal parmasean, which also was great. I enjoy my experience here and would go back.I contemplated coming because of the mixed reviews, but I went for it and decided on something that was out of my comfort zone, and both dishes were great.”
“Very inspired and interesting menu - staples and more far afield offerings. Very stellar service - full description of specials - and there are MANY! Service team seems to work seamlessly together. Make a reservation- even on a weeknight this place is busy - for a good reason! The chefs do an excellent job making this place a place to come back to often! Decor is nice. I found it to be a little hard to hear. Street parking was easy for us to find close by.Vegetarian options: Delicious salads - and salad specials also”
