“Sick jazz space. So happy to have a low key jazz spot in the land. This space is chill with some seating and usually there is not a door charge. There is a local band that plays every Wednesday 7:00-10:00ish. Tree Lawn is right down the road from six shooters coffee and citizen pie.Sometimes they have small eats you can order at the bar. The brews are mostly local IPA’s, some domestic. It’s fairly new and freshly painted. Can’t wait to see how this space unfolds.“
“Great atmosphere, great music, clean, friendly staff, delicious food. Thanks to the bar staff Nina and Leonard for making us feel welcomed.. Thanks to Jeremiah and his kitchen staff at the Game Changer! Loved loved the veggie menu!! That was on point! My husband is loving the look of the cigar bar. They have different events there, last night was a hand dance class. I also heard they have line dance classes too. Can't wait for jazz night?. Great place to distance yourself if that's what you want to do. Plenty of space. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be going back. Don't forget to leave a tip?. The staff is very professional and attentive your going to want?“
“Although not necessarily as heavenly as other Krispy Krunchy outlets I've been, to this still a dependable place for inexpensive heaps of fried chicken and biscuits. I'm guessing timing makes a big difference - that is, coming here just when a fresh batch has been fried. Otherwise, when you stop in, you'll see heaps and heaps of ready-made chicken sitting there under heat lamps. In my case, the chicken tenders were just a tad too crunchy on the outside and not as juicy on the inside as I've seen from other Krispy Krunchy outlets. Similarly, the biscuit was a bit crunchy and not as soft and fluffy as I'd expect. Nevertheless, it was all still warm, reasonably tasty, and reasonably inexpensive. Gets the job done when you need a decent fried chicken fix - fast.“
“My favorite spot in Tinkham Veale. Staff is super friendly, especially Anton.Great options for Vegan and Vegetarians. A little pricy but the portions are large so you get your monies worth.Vegetarian options: Almost every option has a vegetarian or vegan alternative.“
“First time there. Food was good. I ordered a coffee and the country fried steak(X2) and eggs. It was okay. I've had worse, I've had better. However price vs good quality was spot on. Definitely worth the price. Great people working there. I would come again. Mom and pop place. Over all very happy with everythingParking: Plenty of room.Kid-friendliness: I saw a kid and from the interaction between the staff and child it seems they go there often.“
“The workers were oddly, strict ... maybe not the right way to phrase it, but I was one of 3 people in line and they told me they were too busy to cut a sandwich in half for my daughters. Then stood around talking with each other. I used their knife after they walked away. Good food otherwise.“
“The fried chicken was delicious. Our poor waitress did not have anyone helping her in her section. I don't know if someone called off or what. She did provide very good service under the circumstances. Also, when we arrived, it took a while for someone to seat my wife and I, even though we were the only ones in line.“
“The owners of Union House have done an amazing job of updating the bar and restaurant while still maintaining the working man charm of the original. I wish I’d taken pics of the food, it was delicious. The burger (sourced from Whiteys in Richfield)is a generous half pound and cooked to perfection. Fun appetizers like the Tater Kegs (tots stuffed with buffalo chicken) and the Parma Wings, (mini pierogi tossed in your choice of several different wing sauces) are a fun shareable. The Wednesday/Friday fish fry is available year round and is delicious. Served with a side of fries and coleslaw it really hit the spot. For the more health conscious you can get a beautiful veggie plate or choose from a myriad of salads and grilled chicken.“
“A great little bar, not a dive at all, with pretty damn good food.Has a really nice bar/patio setup, with an enclosure for the winter that is heated.Karaoke on Thursdays, seasonal lent specials on weds/fridays, and fall clam bakes.John, the owner is a laid back, nice guy, the bartenders are all attentive and polite. A big shout out to Erika and Tina- two phenomenal bartenders. The crowd is very blue collar, the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. Pretty much anyone will talk about anything.Overall, this is pretty much the ideal bar- whether you’re just looking for a bite to eat, a beer to sip or wanna blow off steam and have a session.Don’t act the fool, and you’ll have a great time!“
“We had visited the location in Van Aken but this is closer to home and we had been wanting to go for awhile. I am so happy that we did! We sat in front near the bar thankfully since it seemed a little quieter there than the back. Although the atmosphere was comfortable regardless. Our server was friendly and helped us make some great choices on food and cocktails. We shared the Banter salad, Cleveland sausage and when pigs fly poutine. That salad is delicious and I am pretty sure I keep craving it. Both the sausage and poutine were delicious and flavorful as well. I know we had desert and very interesting aperitif but I can't seem to find pictures or menu listings for what we had! But it was all delicious. Can't wait to visit again and try new things.“
