“Dueling Axes made for an awesome double date night! It was our first time throwing axes and knives but John gave us a great intro and coached us girls through it! He was hilarious and so approachable, willing to give more tips when I was struggling miserably LOL. We loved the variety of games, including a cornhole-style scoring game (1st to 21 or 51). The bar is very nice, and they serve an excellent peach mint mule- great work, Dan. We will definitely be going back!”

“The lamb hummus is a must. So much flavor and hummus has a perfectly smooth texture. One of my favorite dishes was the lamb fahsah. It came out bubbling hot, lamb was so tender and delicious. The portions of all our entrees were very generous and could be shared easily. I was pleased with how clean the restaurant was and the service and kindness of the staff was some of the best we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return.”

“I recently ate here with my fiancé and my mom and we instantly fell in love! We had traveled here from Terre Haute, IN (4 hours away) for a symphony show and wanted a quick bite to eat beforehand. The food was amazing and SO many options!! We could have spent all day there trying them all! The ice cream was super great! However, the best part was the customer service! I unfortunately did not catch his name, but the man who was there was absolutely brilliant and made our day! He was so friendly and helpful and just seemed like an old friend! We are getting married in September with a dog themed wedding and I seriously would do anything to have Tasty Dawg cater it!! 100 out of 10 would recommend and will be back!!! 🌭”

Since I have visited Scotty's Cafe I have been eating lunch here every day (literally 5 days a week), you can't beat the atmosphere the food is amazing and the owners are definitely one of a kind. Gina and Scotty make you feel like one of the family,the staff is amazing,and you always look forward to your next visit. Definitely a 10 out of 10 every visit.”

We ordered the pretzels and beer cheese, Milder Mama sausage platter, Fat Daddy sandwich, and the kid’s hotdog. The atmosphere felt authentic and service was good. We reserved a table ahead using yelp. I recommend that if you go on a Saturday or at a busy time of year.”

What’s great about really good NATURAL food is that you notice the absence of processing and junk. It tastes better in every way. You’ll notice these are not your average dogs right away. My recommendation is to order two of each, just do it, because you’ll be sad when you run out!”

“Understaffed, no supervision and a lack of proper training keep this potential hot spot way down. The singular cook actually cared but was not really trained and easily overwhelmed in spite of it being a slow night.

The solo waitress has similar issues and the place was needlessly cluttered from prior customers but could have been fixed in just a few minutes. Time she clearly had while we were there. In spite of this she eventually came around and made a decent effort.

I blame management based on what I observed. These two younger folks under good management and with solid, quality training could be really good at their jobs. They seem unguided and burned out. It would be nice if someone with the franchise read this and addressed it properly. With their potential, waffle house should try to keep them and develop them before they lose them.

The environment is every bit of the German livelynsss and the staff are friendly, greeting you at the front eager to tell you of the tales of the bar and how popcorn and pretzels are complementary. I haven't been to many breweries where every beer in a flight were actually good, but I was pleasantly surprised on how good their Oktoberfest beers and there everyday options were. Would without a doubt recommend to visit at least once.”

Even though it was packed, the staff were very attentive, friendly, and open to discussing the menu. We were very appreciative of the gluten free modifications they made for us (and a lot of it didn't even need modified). Excellent cocktails and my husband was able to watch Chef and staff prepare (in the main lounge). The Sea Bass was excellent and my husband said the Waygu steak "will haunt my dreams." We finished with Creme Brûlée, which was already gluten free. We will definitely go back again.”

I think the steaks here are really good, especially the filet mignon and Seared Tenderloin. For appetizers, I had Pan-fried Calamari and Tuna Tartare, which were also very satisfying. Although the service is slow when there are a lot of people, they are very friendly, and everything including table spacing, interior design, and lighting was comfortable. Although the prices are not very friendly, this is a steakhouse I would definitely come back to when I visit Ohio.”

I am so glad we stopped because the staff were all very kind and helpful, their food was awesome and the ambiance/vibe was so great. It was a great place to chill and have great conversation. I had the avocado toast with lox and a poached egg, not only did it look amazing, but it tased so good! My M-I-L got a Monte Cristo sandwich and loved it. Also we got some of their delicious rosemary and olive oil bread, banana bread and a peach basil muffin to go. We each had a specialty coffee drink as well. Highly recommend!”

I love the fact there are soft chairs and a soft couch to sit on. With fibromyalgia,it's important I sit on soft furniture. Plenty of tables with chairs to sit to read, type on a laptop, have meetings, etc. The iced latte was delicious - I wished there were more gluten-free baked goods/meals. “Firebirds in Polaris turned what could have been a stressful night into one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. After running late and even getting stuck in our hotel elevator, the staff was incredibly gracious, giving us extra time for our reservation and welcoming us warmly when we arrived. The restaurant was busy but still felt open, elegant, and inviting, and we were seated quickly despite the crowd. Our server was fantastic—attentive, patient, and kind. I ordered the Wood Grilled NY Strip* with broccoli and a Caesar Salad, and everything was cooked to perfection. My date had the Firebirds® Chicken Pasta with spicy Asiago cream sauce, and it was just as phenomenal. The food was flavorful, beautifully presented, and truly exceeded expectations. I didn't order from the bar, but it looked stunning and inviting. Instead, I enjoyed their strawberry lemonade, which was delicious and refreshing. Between the excellent food, the warm and attentive service, and the lovely atmosphere, Firebirds easily became a new favorite for me. Prices were very fair for the quality, and I can confidently say this was a 10/10 experience. “I can't say enough about our incredible experience tonight at Kona Grill. I just got diagnosed with cancer, had my first chemo last Friday and finally felt well enough to get out. I've loved Kona since the first time I came in 2003 yall. So for me it's one of my favorites. Jacquelyn and Juan could not have made my first outing post chemo/newly bald more memorable. This before they knew I had just experienced a very challenging week. That aside the food was phenomenal, I had the macadamia nut chicken and holy Hannah the dessert! Made in house and absolutely incredible. I simply can't say enough. The environment, the service, the food. Worth every moment.”

“From the time you walk up this place is stunning! The flowers outside are stunning. The entry way is clean. Everyone greets you when you enter. Everything is well organized and clearly labeled. The prices are VERY reasonable for the quality of food you get. This is not Walmart lol this is incredibly well made pastries..

“It's so wonderful to finally have a non-starbucks coffee joint in my neighborhood. Service is wonderful and Deaf friendly - one of the staff knew a little bit of the manual alphabet. I love the fact there are soft chairs and a soft couch to sit on. With fibromyalgia,it's important I sit on soft furniture. Plenty of tables with chairs to sit to read, type on a laptop, have meetings, etc. The iced latte was delicious - I wished there were more gluten-free baked goods/meals. Plenty of natural light from large windows. FREE parking across the street.”

“We went for our anniversary dinner and had a fantastic time—- sat at the bar around 4:30pm on a Saturday, service was very attentive and the vibes were very laid-back. We split the Dirty Caesar salad and enjoyed the fantastic house bread to start. The salad dressing was incredible. I don’t like green olives but they were large pieces that were easy to eat around and move to my husband’s plate (he loves them!). We also split the hanger steak with the bordelaise sauce. We ordered the steak medium rare and it was just perfect! The fries were perfect for sopping up the fantastic bordelaise sauce. I can without a doubt say this was the best steak I have had outside of Paris. I am eager to try the other butters and sauces offered for the steak, but the bordelaise was so good it is going to be hard not to order it every time! My husband was thrilled to find 1664 on draft, as it was his go-to beer choice on our honeymoon in France years ago. I enjoyed an absolutely spectacular glass of Beaujolais that was very reasonably priced and paired perfectly with the steak. We were already thrilled with the ambiance and the service and the food and drink at this point, but when we mentioned we were celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary they poured us glasses of champagne on the house, which really made us feel special and taken care of. We finished the night with the Peach Melba for dessert, and I was absolutely blown away at the quality of each ingredient in this dessert and how it was plated. I was sad to hear it is leaving to make room for a new fall/winter seasonal dessert, but I am a sucker for seasonal menus so this just got me excited to come back and try next season’s dessert! If it is anything like the Peach Melba we had, I am certain I will love it. This restaurant is a little bit above our normal eating-out budget, but by splitting plates and eating at the bar we were able to enjoy a truly luxurious experience that made our anniversary truly special this year. We will be remembering this dinner for a long time, and we can’t wait to come back!!”
