“Mjomii has a calming atmosphere with very friendly staff and a great selection of deserts. We had the mango milk which was perfectly balanced, the mochi butter tarts which are chewy sweet/savory, and 10 macarons to try the different flavors. Mjomii balances flavor well, not too overpowering, like their name “subtle and enticing”“
“We’ve been going to Isa for a while, so when we started planning our wedding, she was honestly our first and only choice. Yes, her pastries are out of this world and I could wax poetic on them - specifically the sweet potato one, look if you know you know - but this review is for the absolute masterpiece of a wedding cake that she put together for us. Because we’re long standing customers, we actually ended up doing both the spring/summer and the fall/winter tasting boxes. There is no wrong answer here, every single cake she makes is delicious, but we ended up going with the pretty traditional almond raspberry with the raspberry jam. It’s sweet, it’s decadent, and it was a huge hit with our guests. And god, just look at it! So beautiful! 100% worth it, choose Isa and Three Bites for all your pastry and cake needs!“
“We tried cheesecake, peanut butter cup cookies, and apple pie cookies and they were all delicious; BUT…..my husband and I agree that the apple pie cookie is the BEST cookie we have ever had. Thanks for an awesome treat at the East Market!“
“The Bacon Egg Breakfast Sandwich was absolutely delicious! We split one between the two of us and were not disappointed. The price($10) was a bit high, but after eating it, I understand why. The quality of ingredients were definitely superior to other breakfast sandwiches we've had. YUM! We would definitely go back to try more items. Thank you!“
“This Japanese marketplace is absolutely adorable! I tried mocha mousse, coffee cream roll, and savory breads, all of which were incredibly delicious. The cake was delightfully moist, and the chocolate ganache had the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor.“
“Good macarons are hard to come by, but Macaron Bar in Short North has some delicious macarons! They make everything in house from scratch and I can tell they take great pride in delivering a great macaron! I ordered a pistachio macaron and my first bite had the initial crunch of the top and bottom layer. Then came the chewy/doughy of the macaron as I continued to chew my scrumptious macaron. It had the right amount of sweetness and I could taste the pistachio flavor. Wow. Will be back again!“
“I ordered chocolate chip cookies and keto brownies from Miranda at ditchthemix and we were not let down. The cookies were soft and chewy, not too sweet, but definitely satisfied the sweet craving! The brownies were just as good. The online order process was easy, and there's the option for delivery, or pickup. I chose pickup and it was just as easy. For really good desserts and very professional service, order from ditchthemix. You won't be disappointed!“
“Whoever curated the space and the menu, your a divine woman ? ? my husband and I will always find some time to drive over an hour from Cincinnati to this beautiful breakfast spot in Columbus. The food is increíble ? I always order the same thing (The Blueberry Chia Bowl is so unique and delicious I’ve never had anything like it before, the Avo Toast with Lox & an egg on top, and the Matcha is Heaven ? we always come here before spa appointments so it gets us in the right state of mind pre-spa. Amazing service“
“Our Non-Profit organization held a fundraiser and reception for a visiting author. We chose Mozart's due to our years long appreciation of the food and service. Anand worked with our group to provide a wonderful atmosphere for our event. The staff were attentive and very professional in their assistance. The food was delicous and enjoyed by all the attendees. It was the perfect place and we had a wonderful time.“
“One of our favorite places in town, me and my fiance stop in at least once a week! The staff is very friendly and communicative. The food is delicious! And the cafe is very cozy!Wheelchair accessibility: It is a little tight, but it IS wheelchair accessible.“
“From the moment we walked in the service was great and the breads looked amazing! I highly recommend the cardamon knot and the brisket knish although I don't think you could go wrong picking anything. So happy we stopped by driving through colombus, and will definitely be stopping by again!“
“Ordered a sweetheart cake for November 2023 wedding. Absolutely delicious red velvet cake and the design we asked for was replicated PERFECTLY, such a beautiful cake.We also had some last minute schedule changes for cake pick up and we did not have any issues updating the pick up time- we so appreciated the flexibility! Our only comment is that it would be nice to have an actual cake slice tasting instead of trying cake balls because it was a little bit different texture.“
“So glad I discovered this place.! I needed a cake and waited last minute to order it as some of us do..and found this place. They took my order over the phone with a 24 turn around time which I appreciated immensely. The cake was delicious and not overly sweet and affordable. Instead of ordering from a big store, order from here. You won't regret it.“
“By recommendation, I popped by Bake Me Happy to find a good treat. I ended up with a coffee cake muffin. It had cinnamon inside and frosting on top. The appearance was fantastic. I'm not used to gluten free, but I'm trying. So that I could eat it immediately, I got a chair out of my hatch and sat right there in the parking lot to enjoy it. It's cool to get a feel for the neighborhood. These guys have all sorts of ground coffee, gluten-free beer, tea, dry goods and refrigerated items, along with actual coffee shop items. This building used to be an old post office. They moved to this location about 2 years ago. It's a mile or so from the old spot, but has way better car and foot traffic. I would definitely have gotten some more stuff, but I'm about to have a hell of a day in Columbus.#onforkstoforks #eatlocal #foodie #coffeeshop #GlutenFree #donuts“
“I shop at Smith farm market every chance i get. WHY you ask.Well? Try one of there own bake pies, or fresh cookies, the veggie are alotFresher, and 100% better looking and tasty. And as you go out? Before you check out,Try there ice cream.Wow also goood and tasty, most of the veggies come along as they grow, which means? THERE FRESH, Come try them your self. Bet you will shop here before you go toGiant Egale, or Krogers.fall fruit is the best. And about thepies? Get a. Slice, to try, or 1/2A pie. Them come back and indulge in a Whole pie, many choices. I love the blackberry,Or peach, or cherry crumb pie. But they have many more.NOTE: If you take a pie home?Slice 1/2, or whole? DO NOT COVER THEM UP! KEEPING THEM UNCOVERED will keep them crunchy, and NOT SOGGY. come. AndEnjoy better produce, cakes, cookies, pies, any where.“
“This is top 2 best bakeries coming from a CA girly. My first time visiting Ohio and we came back 3 times in a week. The minimal design showcasing all the fantastic desserts was beautiful. We had the pistachio tart, chocolate bombe & crème brûlée eclair. I DIED! The eclair was our favorite, perfect execution of texture and sweetness. Its a must if you're debating on what to choose. The tart was next fav and chocolate bombe was good but I prefer cake over a mousse. Tried all the seasonal drinks. The honey butter latte was the winner. Staff is professional and friendly. The cherry on top would be if there were more seating inside or outside. Im obsessed with this place and it'll always be a non-negotiable when I visit.“
“The Knafeh here is soooo good. I couldn’t wait to take a picture. I had to take a couple of bites before I got it home. The outside has a light crunchy texture especially with the pistachio’s. The inside is soft and melty with the cheese. I can’t wait to try the harissa, basbousa, Maamoul, baklava and Maha’s eyes. I’ll be back very soon.“
“Alternative baking done right, never missing a flavor profile. Love the new location!Parking: Good tip to remember the parking cannot be accessed from High Street. Look for the Park of Roses, immediately across the street (there is a traffic light)“
“I have quickly become a regular at Winn Winn Cafe. By far the best cookies in Columbus - especially the sugar cookie and chocolate chip. The coffee cake is also beyond delicious. Very cute and aesthetic location with phenomenal customer service.“
“This is a cute little shop where all the products in there are local small business owners. All kinds of treats, toys, and goodies for your fur baby. Their cakes are so cute and inexpensive. You can order in advance or they have some selections on hand. I've been there twice and found what I needed both times. Friendly staff also.“
“I ordered a Boston Cream Pie for my husband's birthday. It was amazing! He said this was the best Boston Cream Pie he has ever had! Great taste, great quality, and absolutely the best customerservice! I definitely recommend and will be ordering again!“
“Really delicious cookies. This location cooks them a little more and they don't taste doughy in the middle.I'm back to give them another chance. The apple with Carmel cookie this week is absolutely amazing! So hard to choose between a few of them, but this one stood out and for good reason. It is rich, gooey and tart.“
“Our 1st visit. It was restaurant week. Took awhile to be waited on after we were seated - they were quite busy and most likely not expecting the demand. Our waiter (in-training)was excellent). Our 3-course meals were wonderful with very fresh ingredients ..the lobster pasta dish was amazing. Nice atmosphere. We will be back.“
“I've recently moved to the East side of Columbus and have looked around to many bakeries in Gahanna, Bexley, Reynoldsburg, and White Hall. Matt's Bakery is definitely my favorite. The prices are surprisingly reasonable (not boutique/cafe prices for an individual item). There are multiple bakery items that have now become a weekly staple for me: The pita is my favorite, snowball cookies are my go-to party snack, and the pumpernickel is great.Nice options with no egg or no milkVegetarian options: Some products use soy ingredients in place of milk/eggs“
“I love her cookies! Makes special order cookies and has her staples. Best almond sugar cookie ever, awesome peanut butter, and oatmeal raisins. Lots of biscotti flavors. Haven't tried a cake yet but a couple of birthdays are coming up. A regular stop when I get my comics just down the sidewalk.“
“Great glazed donuts. Soft and no too doughy with the proper amount of glaze. Other donuts are great as well. Service was nice and quick with a pull number ticket when you arrive. Prices are good too as 6 donuts were under $2 each. Would definitely add this to the rotation.“
“If you really like or even love cookies, this place is a really good option. The choices are few, but I'm partial to chocolate chip so I'm always covered. However, I've tried a few of the others, and they're not bad.The service at this location is pretty good. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order, even when they were busy. The ordering process is pretty simple. There are ordering kiosks available, or you can place an online order, which speeds thing up even more.My only issue is that you are forced to buy their massive cookies every time. They have smaller cookies, but they're only available with their catering. These should be available as purchase options as well.Other than that, I would recommend them if you're looking to satisfy that sweet craving.“
“THE go-to Asian market in Columbus for Japanese foods and supplies. There are three significant Asian markets in Columbus. The other two are more Chinese-oriented (and very good, at that). THIS is the Japanese-focused market, and outstanding for its range and quality. Whether you are looking for fresh sashimi-grade seafood, frozen Berkshire pork for hotpot, noodles, sauces, spices, kitchen tools, cutlery, dishes... the list just goes on and on, and it's all here. 6 stars.“
“This bakery has become one of my favorites. The chocolate chip cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies, and the banana chocolate chip cake were fabulous. I was greeted by the friendliest team member, Reanna. Such a wonderful personality and was so willing to help answer any questions. Highly recommend this little gem of a bakery!“
“I'm very split on this place. I love that they clearly use high quality ingredients. I love that they have creative baked goods and breakfast/brunch items. I love the decor. However it is very expensive. Which would be fine, except half of the time (out of 4-5 times) I have gotten a meal here it has been bland. If I order a ham biscuit with horseradish sauce, that should have a ton of flavor, but lo and behold, somehow that happened (although the biscuits have always been consistently good). Where do you buy bland ham from? The service is generally quite dry... I always kind of get the impression that I'm an inconvenience. The employees aren't overtly mean or disrespectful, but they don't really do much to make the place feel welcoming. Again, that'd be fine if it weren't for the lack of consistency and the prices. However their desserts have always been very good, and I always like to see what seasonal pie they are doing. It's hard for me not to step in and buy a slice when I'm walking by on the sidewalk. You'd find me coming here much more often if they could make their breakfast/brunch consistently good enough to justify the high prices.“
“The pastry selection is huge! There's something for everyone. They taste delicious too. It is a bit chaotic inside, very bustling and the seating is very close together which I didn't love. Staff was amazing and was constantly bringing out fresh pastries! Pastries I tried: - Coffee pastry - Hotdog pastry Blueberry and cream pastry - Spinach and feta“
“pretty nice cafe attached to the lobby of the Junto! it's hard to find cafes that are open later and have a good amount of seating. it's cool they have alternative milks I've never seen before (cashew, pecan, pumpkin seed). 4 stars bc the lady at the front wasn't very friendly but overall very aesthetic and I'll be back!“
“I kept seeing this business pop up in conversations about the best cake in Columbus, although I admit that living near Belle's Bread means that I wasn't particularly looking for more cake options. But today, I had a long wait for takeout food in the same strip mall, and decided to walk over. And now I am obsessed with their white chocolate mousse cake, even though I'm not usually a huge fan of chocolate mousse cake. So yeah, good job, random bakery in a strip mall. I will now have to come back for the apparently citywidely famous strawberry cake.“
“I love everything about this place from the name to the pastries to the coffee. The service is friendly and the staff definitely know their way around an espresso machine. The cafe is beautiful with an industrial yet warm vibe. Such a great location as well. The cafe seems like the cornerstone of the neighborhood. Enjoy!“
“I just received my second order, your brownies are amazing!! However I am not a fan of the Gluten Free Red Velvet is way too sweet and seems like the sugar was gritty in this one so I definitely will not order that one again. I cant say that I have a favorite because the Banana Cream Chai, Samoa and Chocolate Pecan Pie all are vey tasty!“
“I never leave reviews but the donuts and the staff are so sweet and understanding. I couldn’t pick up on a Saturday and they accommodated me to pick up on a Sunday! Best tasting donuts ever and I can say that with all of my heart. I have to be careful as they are so addicting?“
“Dropped by on a whim to get some birthday cannoli and creme horns for my dear cousin’s birthday this morning. Their selection was really good, and my purchase was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!I will def be back, not only for a large selection of Italian/European pastry delights, but also for the impressive array of breads and little surprises!!! (Their traditional doughnuts and other fried doughs are impressive as well!!! I know I’ll be back for some bread making supplies too!).Bravo!!! I cannot WAIT to try their other offerings!“
“WOW WOW WOW. I barely finished my biscuits before hopping on google to leave a review because people need to KNOW how delicious they are. I’ve driven by this place a lot and finally remembered to stop in and am I glad I did. The staff was super friendly and the biscuits were phenomenal. I had the sausage biscuit balls and a cinnamon sugar biscuit. Both gave me a visceral reaction upon first bite (in the best way). I will frequent this place often and hope others do too. They’re a great addition to the neighborhood and I want them around forever!!!“
“Got the peach blueberry tart, grilled cheese, and chai latte. I have a gluten allergy and they used separate materials and kitchen!!! It was taken care of in such detail. I love this place. Only negative is that the chai was small proportion but still so yummy!“
“I've been buying the bread and buckeye's from The Candied Cottage for almost a year now. The breads are moist full of flavor, they freeze great and tastes as good as when you purchased them. The buckeyes have a great chocolate taste, I have purchased the dark and milk chocolate buckeyes. They also freeze great and they taste even better frozen.I think I have bought every flavor of bread and buckeye that Candise has made and they never disappoint.“
“So thrilled with my son's birthday cake!! I was a little daunted at first because it's obvious English is a second language for many of the staff here- I was worried something would get lost in translation. But I was worried for no reason. Communication was great! The cake is exactly what I asked for, and my kiddo's going to love it. ?❤️?“
“My parents bought the gluten free chocolate chip cake to me for my birthday. It traveled 3 hours in a car! It was perfect. The customer service was wonderful and the taste was even better! Thank you for making a product that tastes just as good as any “regular” cake, before going gluten-free.Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac Disease and have to eat gluten free foods. My cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed it.“
“After seeing pictures of their fully loaded pastry cases, I made plans to go right away. Crème de La Crème has a very European feel, from the efficient but not saccharine women at the counter, to the light classical music playing, to the warm, seemingly sparkling tea room-esqe interior. It was very pleasant and beautiful inside. I had a cappuccino (very good), avocado toast, which felt a little small but plated nicely and good, and 2 items from the case. Though I feel a bit of guilt saying it, for narrative integrity I will disclose that the pastries were not very good. The eclair had a white chocolate robing, which was waxy and flavorless, much like the filling. The fresh strawberry cake was not very light, and while soaked nicely in a syrup, also did not have much fresh cream lightness, or many strawberries to cut through the mouth-coating fat content of the whipped cream and custard. I'm sure they were made that day (right?) but had in my heart I sensed they had languished in the case too long somehow. All and all, I would absolutely go back! This would be a very cute experience to bring a friend to catch up, order too many beautiful treats, and have an overall elevated cafe experience. No hipsters in sight, A+“
“I’ve ordered custom cakes from them in the past that the family always loves, so I was so excited to be able to conveniently get pastries and lunch. I have absolutely LOVED every thing I have ever tried here. The food, service, and coffee is wonderful.“
“The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. My friends and I love German Village, and Stauf's obviously had to be our first stop, so we could explore with our coffees! The coffee shop has their main area, as well as another room for studying or working remotely. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy the ambiance!“
“I have eaten so much horrible gluten free bread over the years I was looking forward to getting my order after finding your bakery on line.I was impressed with the packaging and the bread is delicious. It also has a 13 gr carb count that is lower than most gluten free products. My husband likes it better than his bread. Will definitely get my bread here from now on.“
“The best cupcakes in town. I was hesitant at first because it was pretty expensive but once I took a bite out of the cupcakes it was worth every singe amount. Moist, rich, creamy and just the right amount of sweet to it. We've been there twice in one week and I have walked out with 2 boxes worth each time. They have such nice workers and its super clean inside the store as well. Highly recommend!“
“Their cakes and cupcakes are so moist and flavorful. I had their lavender cake for my birthday a couple years ago and it was my favorite cake I’ve ever had! Their breakfast and coffee are great too. I love getting the iced lavender latte w/ oat milk. Plus everyone is so nice here. I highly recommend!“
“This was the absolute best wedding cake we have ever had. Cake was so moist, fruit filling was the perfect accompaniment and the icing was not overpowering with sweetness. The cake was stunningly gorgeous! If I could give a 100 star review I would! Marie was incredible to work with, patient kind and understanding!“
