“Old Scratch is a casual pizza joint with a small menu and friendly, fast service. Their pizzas are thin crust with robust, flavorful sauces and fresh mozzarella. We ordered the prosciutto arugula pizza and the Mr. Scratch pizza with Italian sausage and basil. The arugula was lightly dressed in olive oil and Parmesan cheese which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, this is solid pizza place that we would visit for lunch on a weekday again.“

“We’ve dined here several times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and food. We visited on Sunday around 12:00 PM and were not disappointed . We got the Italiano and the Patty Melt and the Branches and Bones IPA on tap. Wonderful, friendly staff and good food. My only negative comment would be that there were 1 or 2 staff members who were wandering around (or sitting) staring at their phones. The restaurant was very busy, but these individuals did not help out and were plainly just getting in the way. If they were on break, it was not obvious. What was obvious was they did not care about the appearance and were not concerned about optimizing customer service. We will be back, but thought management should be aware of this.“

“We really enjoyed this place. We had a large group that they accommodated on a Friday night. The food is really good. Prices are reasonable. They have great pasta, sauces, and meatballs.. Service is great. Nice location. I would definitely recommend this place.“

“Restaurant week was a great time to try multi courses and share with family. Figlio's was exceptional. Peasant Salad & Caesar are always great. We tried the Mushroom pizza it was so delicious. We had a pesto pasta, and creamy pasta both were delicious with Crème brûlée & tiramisu desserts. Our server was lovely attentive and offered wine pairing that were perfect We sat under the glass greenhouse with a little candle on our table. It felt cozy and upscale- I highly recommend!“

“I placed a large order, it was ready ahead of pick-up time. All of the items ordered were present and turned out absolutely delicious as always. Staff was friendly, greeted me right away, and included silverware and helped me with extra sauces upon request. Clean, organized and attentive. Great staff and location!“

“The best pizza around… There’s no doubt. I was surprised that it’s about $20 for a ton of toppings on a large. And my wife and I can never eat an entire large. Always have at least 3 pieces left. So it’s it’s like 3 meals for $20 and those meals are delicious. Thanks Jets Pizza! You rock ??“

“Our waitress was amazing. The breadsticks we got were LOADED with garlic (amazing). The food we got was great and she even went back and got us more amazing breadsticks (I had her make sure they were super loaded up). I wish I could remember her name but she was great! We went for lunch and it was not very busy and our food came out fast and hot! We got the shrimp Alfredo, chicken parm and calamari to start. 10/10“

“As always the food was great. Unfortunately the service was very poor, something we were not used to here. Only two servers on Thursday night. Had to be persistent on getting some sort of discount for the slow service. Not sure if we will be back!“

“Stopped in this evening to grab a couple pizzas. Friday evening and it was a last minute decision. I thought for sure we’d be waiting an hour plus. To our delight, the gentleman behind the counter told me 20 minutes. He was pretty much spot on. They are utilizing what I’ll call old brick ovens. In my opinion, the best way to make a pizza ever! They aren’t sending it down a conveyor style oven as most places do now days. It actually takes a lot of skill and monitoring to make them this way. I put their pizza over Marion’s easily. If you like “Dayton style pizza”, do yourself a favor and try it out! If you like a Chicago style with thick crust, don’t go here. But, for what the demographics are here, it’s no wonder why they’ve been in business as long as they have. The community raves about this place. And I’d have to agree with that 110%“

“Been coming here for a few years now and they hardly ever disappoint. Food is always hot and they will cook your food based on your specifications at least they try to. Depending on what you get the prices are reasonable 10-20 dollars for a full meal that won't have you hungry afterwards.“

“It is a nice Olive garden, probably the nicest I've been in. It has a great, big waiting room and it's beautifully decorated. The waitresses were super nice and on top of things. Food didn't take too long to come out and was delicious. It is definitely more expensive than I remember though. It was $53 for just the two of us and the portions seemed much smaller than I remember.“

“Great, local fare with an elevated homemade feel. Unique dishes that make you feel like you're getting something you can't get anywhere else. I had the Eggplant Fries which were deliciously crisp, albeit a little salty. The yogurt sauce and marinara helped cut the saltiness though. I also had the Green Lasagna with added chicken Italian sausage, spinach, and mushrooms which was rich in flavor but light overall. The mushrooms added on were plentiful, which almost detracted from the balance of the dish - but that's on me! Overall I will certainly recommend Wheat Penny to my friends and colleagues and will be back to visit next time I'm in Dayton!“

“I used this Gionino's location for a company catered luncheon.Everything was fantastic! The service I received from placing the order, the staff at pick up, and the food the day of--Superb! I would highly recommend using them for any catered event. The wings--perfection. The food was hot and the presentation was beautiful. This company knows how to do it the right way. 10 out of 10.“

“One of the best meals I’ve ever had. My filet was perfect medium rare, my daughter’s chicken with crispy skin and my wife’s risotto…and the meatballs were the best I’ve ever had…weird saying that about meatballs but true!The server was very helpful and even though it was her first day, she was great and added to a superb meal.This is the type of meal that makes you forget about and care less about the cost.
