“My wife and I went to Easter brunch, and had a great experience. It was quite crowded, but we were seated quickly. The buffet line was very long, but moved at a decent pace. The food was delicious, and our server was excellent. We were in and out in just over an hour. While it is difficult to host a buffet that large from 10:00 to 3:00, Burntwood did not disappoint. We were pleased and would go again.“

The service is good at Franks and the bartenders are friendly and can carry a conversation. Atmosphere is very eclectic - see my pictures. The food specials are a deal so make sure to check those out. I had the cowboy burger on this visit but have also had the NY strip which is good. The cowboy burger is sautéd onions, cheddar, bacon and candied jalapeños. Handmade burger and very tasty. Only complaint is the burger was thick but not wide enough to cover the bun. “Now I can’t remember the smash burger I had but I know it had the house specialty sauce. In the first bite, the flavors of each item combined create the taste of fresh ingredients. The beef is fresh and local, as in a few miles away local. Everything that makes up that burger was local. I wish I had a picture to show but I smashed it with the quickness. The taste of that juicy burger left me separated from reality until there was nothing left. At that point I zapped back into reality so I didn’t get a pic. I’ll for sure be back again and hopefully get a picture for you all. Also, in the back, the kitchen is impressively clean. It looked as if they had just moved in that day. I arrived just before closing hours and a manager showed me the operations in the back while my burger was being made. Retro Burger has an excellent standard and that is why I’m recommending it. “If there are any problems with Bartenders or an employee get ahold of Chuck Korver owner. Any concerns you have, safety and or liabilities talk to Chuck and give him a chance to handle it. Any problems with other customers call Chuck about it. He will deal with it. Read reviews where someone was using Laundromat next door. Then went to leave. But Couldnt bc blocked in. Again call Chuck so he can take care of it and the customers violating fire code. Customers that bring there drinks out the bar outside Call Chuck. He will make sure customers are compliant. Chuck doesn't put up with bologna.“

“I had ordered my burger medium rare. When it came out it was rare IMO. So I sent it back. Francesca, our server couldn’t have been nicer about it. I had taken two bites before I decided I just couldn’t do it. I told her to nuke it a minute and it would be perfect. They completely redid the burger, bringing a new one out. I couldn’t believe they did that. A lot of places just send you the same product out, and usually overcooked. ?. Not in this case. Francesca couldn’t have been nicer and more attentive. The burger and fries were awesome. You could tell it was made from fresh ground beef and not some preformed frozen patties. The toppings were all fresh and packed high. I had to mash the heck out of it to get it in my mouth. The fries were awesome as well. Done just right. My wife’s burger was cooked to perfection. (She likes well done) and she had hush puppies which were very tasty. I had a cup of clam chowder to try and it too was exceptional. Large chucks of clams in a super tasty broth with celery and carrot. I highly recommend stopping by and trying them for yourself. We will stop by anytime we are close.“
