“This was my first time eating at Chiapas. The food was delicious. Our server, Priscilla, was interactive, knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. We really enjoyed her! The atmosphere was nice and clean; however, the music was a little loud where we were sitting, making it difficult to have quiet conversation. My only disappointment was not getting any tres leches cake because they were out ?. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience. I look forward to returning.“
“Very good authentic Mexican food! Tasted my son’s quesadillas and absolutely loved it! One of the best I had had and the cheese creamy and melty. I had the steak fajitas with beans and rice and it was fantastic. Good prices for the serving size paid $14 for the fajitas and made 3. My brother recommended this place and I am glad I tried it today 10/10. Pictured is a chicken soft taco, steak quesadilla and chimichanga.“
“Everybody was extremely friendly, and the food was awesome! My only gripe was that the restaurant was very hot and humid. You can see the associates were overheated, and we decided to eat in the car due to the uncomfortable temperature inside.“
“Perhaps my favorite Mexican restaurant I've been to in Dayton (and there are some good ones).Food:I ordered most recently the Chilaquiles Con Huevo Y Bistek Asado (pictured below). It was awesome. Thinly sliced (flank?) Steak cooked well, with nice slightly crispy edges and a good sear. Eggs were sunny side up and tasty. The meat and eggs were served on top of a nice bed of tortilla chips with lots of cilantro, cotija cheese, and I believe lime juice. Rice and refried beans were served on the side and quite good. There are other variants of this, along with huevos rancheros on the menu. The visit prior to this one, I ordered a pambazo (amazing) and an al pastor sope (also amazing) along with some horchata. A note on the horchata: you get your money's worth ($5 for a huge mason jar of it, I think at least a quart?) for the horchata, and it's easily in the top 2 homemade quality horchatas I've had. Definitely worth it.Pro tip: ask for their hot salsa to go with the chips & salsa. It's good. They normally bring out a roja and a Verde salsa, so the spicy one appears to be 'hidden' and complimentary (or priced such that I didn't notice any real increase in the bill).Customer service:Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that is happy to offer recommendations for menu items and such. The food was prepared and at our table in a timely manner, and accurately. Seating is DIY, so choose your seat as you wish. No issues to be had.Note: you pay at the front desk when done eating, and they seem to keep track of the items ordered on their end. So, you pay before you get your printed receipt, if that makes sense. Just a heads up, so you don't wait around thinking a bill will arrive.A very nice restaurant with lots of menu options and doesn't skimp on the flavor.10/10, ¡Mi restaurante Mexicano favorito!Vegetarian options: Dishes with meat are clearly marked as containing meat, at least in Spanish (pollo, barbacoa, bistek, chorizo etc.), so dishes without such labels can typically safely be assumed to be vegetarian. There are lots of vegetarian options, ranging from tacos and burritos to enchiladas. I haven't tried it, but I wouldn't doubt that substitutions can be made to remove meat from most any dish.Parking: Parking spaces are not super clearly marked, but there is ample space to park at the front of the restaurant (facing the road) or other spots facing the building at the front or side.“
“Let me tell it to you straight—this place is IT! I stopped by for the first time today and had their Trippin' On Shrooms burger and when I say it had SO. MUCH. FLAVOR! The fries were fresh, the pickles were thick cut, and the lions mane was JUICY and THICK! Yeah, this food is most definitely made with love. If you're trying to go vegan, the T.O.S is the way to go. Heck, even if you're not and you try something else, they're gonna get you right. Highly, highly recommend!“
“WHAT an experience ! The perfectly flavored food, meticulously detailed (and delicious) drinks, and especially attentive service made for a remarkable experience ! Trust the Sueño staff and their pairings and savor every bit of this 5-star night out to eat… what a Treat ! ?Special shout to Laken, Ezra, Julisa, Olive, Lucas, Isiah, and the incredible culinary masterminds for hitting every note and you’re one of a kind excellence tonight !“
“Always great food and service. I usually get the veggie burrito (which is massive and very good) but I recently got the A la Diabla and that was amazing, good flavor and very spicy. My friend always gets the birria tacos and says they're the best birria around.“
“Tacos are very good. I've been a couple of times for taco Tuesday. The only issue is I order about 5 pm, and they only ever have beef or chicken they are sold out of everything else, so I've not gotten to try a lot of other things. I will have to try it out on a not so busy night when there are more options. I'm excited to try again!“
“1st time eating here. The food was fantastic. The young gentleman working was very kind and helpful. The portions were huge too. #1 new place to eat. One thing that is normally an issue with eating Mexican food is making the picky eaters in the family happy but I was able to do that here.“
“I went to order online just now and they are not accepting orders. Maybe they are just closed on thursdays, and I never noticed. But what if they are closing? I couldn't bear it. This is the closest taqueria to my house that doesn't have wheels on it. I need it to be open forever.“
