I had the BLT and he had the chef’s choice wraps. Mine had a bunch of flavor to the sauce. It was really good He said his was spicy not too spicy. We both had the cannoli chips and OMG!!!!! Soo good. Very dangerous 😉! You will get hooked!! We will be back!”

“We had Old Carolina cater our wedding this last Saturday (2.24.24) at Lake Affect Studios in Cleveland, OH and we cannot thank the staff enough. We opted for a buffet option which worked out so well. We are still getting compliments on how delicious the food was. When we were thinking about food for our wedding, I knew I wanted a barbecue buffet! Once we saw they were on the preferred list of vendors for Lake Affect Studios it was a no brainer and we went with them as our first choice. We used to love eating at Old Carolina when they had a restaurant in Mentor, OH. Kelsey was so helpful in answering all of my questions leading up to wedding day, and assisting with the set up the day before. They did an amazing job keeping everyone fed and the staff was friendly and efficient. They let us take home left over food and we were able to enjoy the barbecue even after our big day. “I Celebrate my 60th Birthday at Salmon Dave’s (3/15).For my entrée had the Pecan crusted Grouper dinner.. It was great. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress (Bird) was the best.. We will return.”

“Stopped here after a night spent in Cleveland for a concert. After a night of coors lights we were looking for good fries and sandwiches, this place did not disappoint. Honestly, might be the best place I've eaten since 2020. Well staffed, clean, food was excellent, everyone working there was kind. We had soups which were great. A Reuben and a chicken melt with fries, would recommend both. Got some cake to go, none were my favorite ever but all good. Chocolate mousse stood out.”

“I would give this place 5 stars if I could! We went for my birthday dinner and it was a great experience. They have a whole vegan menu and large portion sizes! Our waitress was wonderful too. We got the French Onion soup (which I’d literally never had before bc I’ve never found a place that had a vegan one), the blackened tofu Tartine, the Brussel sprouts, the vegan steak entree and a pb, chocolate, caramel dessert! Also, we ordered a side of the wild mushrooms and they were to die for! Everything was delicious and we had leftovers to take home too. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in town!”

“We were so excited for our favorite ice cream spot to reopen after their remodel, and it was definitely worth the wait! The place looks amazing—bright, clean, and even more inviting than before. And of course, the ice cream is still the best ever—completely untouchable! No one does it better. The only thing missing? The train! The one that used to run around the ceiling was such a fun touch, and we really hope they bring it back. Other than that, everything is perfect. If you haven’t been yet, go check out the new look—you won’t be disappointed!”

“We had Mario cater our small wedding last week. He went above and beyond to make the our guests happy with his delicious food! All of our guests raved about the dinner provided for them. Many said it was the best food they have had at a wedding. Mario gave us exactly what we asked for and elevated his food with the love he has for cooking. I HIGHLY recommend Mario as he is top notch and was worth every penny. Thanks for making our day even more special!!!🤩❤”

“I’m well aware that I can be hypercritical. When dining in the greater Lexington area, I’m often referred to as “a prick” by family and friends. But I’m not in Kansas anymore. As a connoisseur of the finer things, I immediately shut down the suggestion of ”Wine Bar” as the Michelin Man failed to namedrop this Rocky River Staple. But then I ate there and realized the Michelin Man should get out more !! Where do I begin? The sights, the smells—or perhaps I start with my wonderful server, “Santa” Hanna? To transform wine into grapes may be divine, but to have the dinner I just consumed? Redemption itself. I think my family may have a new nickname for me fairly soon…”

“Amazing, cozy, warm atmosphere. $15 beer flights of 8 beers and all are very good! Two hoppy & malty IPAs are among the best. $9 burgers every Tuesday- the Black & Bleu Burger is delicious. The bartender Kelly is friendly, knowledgeable, high energy, and fun- be nice to her and tip her well. Men’s washroom is clean and cool. Last but not least LOTS OF PARKING in their free parking lot. Highly recommend. I’ll be back! 🍻”

“I stopped in over the summer with my sister for lunch and we were so glad we did, food was absolutely amazing! I told my boyfriend after we have to go there, it is so good! Took him yesterday for his birthday, we are both still talking about it today. He told me he told multiple people at work about it and has been thinking about your cannolis all day and I have been too, best I've ever had. Ever single thing from cocktails to dessert to atmosphere is absolutely amazing, I, we cannot brag about you guys enough! Classy cocktail menu, the char sour and classic old fashioned are a must try. You're selection of bourbon for bourbon lovers is top notch too! Last the food, beet salad, lobster rolls, cassoulet pie are to die for 🤌 have to talk about the cannolis again, one pistachio and one chocolate chip, don't snooze on those if you go! My biggest compliments to the chef. We will definitely be back.”

“It’s super akward when they ask you if you want to tip-at the drive through. Tipping culture is getting quite pushy. Service is also incredibly slow, no one seems to have any sense of urgency or speed. Having said that, the food is usually decent and coffee is good.”

“I wanted to come in Google to “challenge” some of the recent negative reviews - I’m not sure the story happened the way it is portrayed in the reviews. I was there during the confrontation (I attached my receipt to prove so). But I challenge that all the folks writing the negative reviews were - maybe friends banding together to write bad reviews???
Anyway - we were at the table right next to the part of 8 table - and I was facing the table. The only loud voices I heard were those of the diners. However, I did not realize they were upset - I did hear something about them complaining that they couldn’t split their checks and how it was BS. (I remember thinking that they were very upset for something that was posted on the door when walking into the restaurant - but whatever - some people let little things work them up).
Next thing I knew, the diners left and drove out of the parking lot honking their horns and giving the restaurant the middle finger. ALL ON A SUNDAY MORNING!!!!!
Back to Herb’s itself - all 4 people in our party loved the food - the service was fine, the atmosphere was fine after the hoopla!!! There was a young lady (not our waitress), who was very attentive to the people sitting on the patio - so kudos to her!!”
