Its nice when the drink tastes like the description says (my banana crumble drink was so yummy). Service was great, the Wednesday food truck was even good. This is Authentic Tijauana style red Birria tacos like you see with food bloggers on IG. The staff was super friendly. The best days to go are Thurs-Sat when the Birria is available all day. “I have returned from my hiatus to speak on behalf of parable (again). Pastries just wake me up like nothing else. I say that but every time I try to get to parable "early" (i.e., before 10am), I fail to do so ;'( But it's ok! These days there are still goodie pastries available for the sleepy birbs (hurrah) Unfortunately, my gastrointestinal system did not hunger at that hour of the morn, so the spinach artichoke danish was a bit of an underwhelming experience, even though the danish was freshly toasted ;'( I liked the chip though (cronch). Otherwise, it kind of gave artichoke dip but served in a pastry vessel instead of a plastic container. I enjoyed the honey grapefruit brûlée circle croissant and guava cream cheese pastelito more. Neither were too sweet and both had nice crispity crunchities! Service was very thoughtful as well! Whenever staff brought pastries to someone's table, they'd always ask if the person would like a fork and would then go run and grab one. I personally prefer to go feral on my food with my fingers but the gesture seemed very kind. Also, I'm pretty sure the entire album of The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess was played. “As someone who really loves bagels. This place didn’t fall short. What I can appreciate is they don’t try to do too much. Everything I had(vegetarian lox, everything with chive and salt and herb with matcha and honey) was done expertly and nothing fell short. Because we’re long standing customers, we actually ended up doing both the spring/summer and the fall/winter tasting boxes. There is no wrong answer here, every single cake she makes is delicious, but we ended up going with the pretty traditional almond raspberry with the raspberry jam. “I can't say enough great things about The Cakehound! My dog was the ring bearer in my wedding so we had a special cake made for him for the big day. Not only was it GORGEOUS and matched our theme but Teresa also catered the ingredients to suit my sensitive dog's dietary requirements. I don't know how she managed to make a raw-incorporated cake look so beautiful but she did it! He went absolutely bonkers for the cake and it added a fun, special touch that all of our guests loved. Their lattes are also very good, they have a list of seasonal flavors/drinks, and their barista will happily alter your drink if it doesn’t taste just right.If you go and really enjoy it, I recommend getting one of their punch cards to work towards getting yourself a free gift card.“

I happened to pass by this place when getting gas at the nearby Sheetz on Toy Rd. I purchased the Birria Mulitas and Chicken Tamales, mild- They have just the correct amount of kick that I'm not screaming for relief from water bottle. It was chilly from the previous day snow/rain, and the food truck is located on the corner of a warehouse lot, so the muddy parking lot is not great but they do have covered bench seating, which would probably be better in the spring or fall. Also, I don't like onions but these onions on this mulita are the bomb.“
