“A small town breakfast and lunch diner. We ordered a cheese burger and onion burger and large fries. More than enough for two. Burgers were delicious and fries seemed to be hand cut. The restaurant has daily specials, and I will certainly eat here again. Service was spot on and friendly. Cost for food came to 16 bucks. Give it a try.“

“Very thoroughly ran establishment. The expo as busy as he was still was very sociable with the guest at the counter top. Every server stopped to say hi and how I was today. The guest that set next to was just as sociable. I will definitely come back for the atmosphere. The food was fairly quick coming out for this place was extremely busy. The food was pretty good. Frank and Brady were the managers on duty and went out of their way to make sure every guest felt welcomed. “This place was so good I don't even know where to begin! The French fries were to die for, like seriously the best I've ever had! I had a patty melt that was well seasoned and the onions were caramelized to perfection. My kids had a grilled cheese and a blt. But the real stars of the trip were the shrimp! Oh man, absolutely delicious, I don't think I've ever seen my kids eat so much. For dessert we brought home a slice of their homemade carrot cake. It was fantastic. “I like Louie's. This was my first visit to this location but have been to 3 other locations. I had the Prohibition burger and it was great. It was a cold evening when my brother and I were there and some of the wait staff kept going out the side door to smoke. I'm a big guy and rarely get cold but the constant opening of that door was bringing a blizzard right across my table, brrrrrr! It's not that big of a deal but it was kinda annoying. I would imagine most women would have found the cold blast intolerable because they are generally more sensitive to cold. The only other thing I notice was it was spotlight bright inside the restaurant. It's like they had all the lights on like you do when you are closing and it was extremely bright in there. Not very conducive to any ambience or coziness for daters but I was there with my brother and even still found it to be much like the lights you would be under if abducted by aliens. We used to work and manage some bars and know a thing or two about creating an atmosphere and the examination lights are not it. Other than that this location is fine and some may like it bright as a nuclear blast when they eat. Jist to be clear I like Louie's and they have good food in my opinion and the couple of incidents I listed here aren't that big of a deal. But if you don't say something in a review they may never know or they may have good reason for how they operate. Give them a try if you've never been there, my guess is you'll be back again for the food but maybe not so much for the alien exam. :)“

“Decided to test the dining facility after years of not eating there. Going back as a TSgt when my last meal there was an A1C brought back some pretty good memories. Some of the staff from almost 10 years ago is still there and recognized me. Great people. The food hasn't changed a whole heck of a lot, but any change that has happened has been positive. Glad they finally have a card reader so you don't have to pay cash, though. That's what kept me from going back sooner. It's a non-profit dining facility, so expect to save quite a bit of money if you choose to eat here. Depending on which items you choose, you can have a healthy full meal for about 4 to 5 bucks!“

“My husband and I ate dinner at Rib Crib last Sunday night just spontaneously wanting something little different to eat and we hadn't been to Rib Crib in a while. He a had their pulled pork sandwich which he liked with fries and some and smoked beans. Got a goat burger for $10, but that comes with crinkle fries and a drink (in a can), so comparable to a standard cow burger. Whole leaf lettuce, red onion slices, pickles, and a very thinly sliced ripe tomato. Don't bother with cheese; the patty is that good. I took a photo but after 30 minutes on bus and bicycle, it wasn't very photogenic, but just as delicious as if i enjoyed it at their outdoor picnic tables. I've had their chili cheese fries in the past, and they're great too.“
