“Unfortunately, I had the steak chunk sandwich, on special....their name for it was a Cheesesteak sandwich...chunks of reheated old steak, with ample grizzle, without cheese...couldn't eat it...but the onion rings were great...used to love going there, but the food has dropped in quality...sad. Did get ample apologies from our waitress, and it's certainly not her fault...she did go inside, after seeing the mess on my plate...comped half the price, even with 3/4 left...oh well...thank you, I guess.“

“Today my friend took me to lunch at Christoff’s Restaurant in Woodhaven. I ordered the Chicken Caesar sandwich which came with a pickle and a dish of fresh fruit. The sandwich was super delicious!! Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Even though we had to wait outside for 10 minutes it was well worth the wait. I would give this restaurant a 10+ ratingand am looking forward to returning. Great job everyone!“

“From the moment we walked in our server, Kristian, was attentive, funny, personable, and timely. Couldn’t ask for more. My daughter and I came for a quick bite for dinner and Kristian did not disappoint. He bounced back and forth between multiple tables never missing a beat. Thank you for the great experience. “I placed a pickup order and was told 15 minutes. When I arrived, the restaurant was packed with people waiting to be seated. I thought I was going to have to wait a little longer for my food but..... Nope! Not only was my food ready when I was told, it was spot on as usual!! By far the best diner downriver!!“

“The food was great. Had the filet which was cooked to perfection. Everything was fresh and exceptionally flavored. Only disappointment was they were out of the cheesecake by the time we ordered it but we found another option. That was equally delightful.“

I have had some minor customer service issues like needing to ask to have tables cleaned and forks not being stocked (you have to grab your own and when they are out you’re stuck with food getting cold) but they have always been resolved with a smile.“

This is one of those places where you just know most of their daily business is from the community, and the staff probably knows most of the customers names.My waitress was named Julia and she was both witty and pleasant. “I frequent the bobcat Bonnie's in Wyandotte. I've been to the cork town and Ferndale locations as well and I can say my favorite location is the Wyandotte location. I've been through about a third of the menu and everything has been delicious so far. My only 2 grief , while very minor, is it can get fairly loud in the space with a full dining room, and the portion sizes of some things are a little underwhelming for the price. Specifically the "bit burrito" It isn't a tiny burrito by any means but with a name implying its size it is underwhelming. It WAS delicious though. But for $14 I would at least expect a side with it. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would!“

“I went to The Speedboat last night with my sister. We had a wonderful time. It was karaoke night, and the host was happy to play almost every request that we had. There was one song I wanted that was not in his catalog, but I found something else that I could sing. “My husband and I checked this out for lunch recently. The menu choices are well displayed for easy ordering. The server/order taker was knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful and friendly. We both got the #3 - 2 chicken fingers and choice of one slider. He got the angus beef slider. I got the big saavy signature slider with the 2 chicken fingers. Fries were crispy and hot. The big saavy slider was so filling, I’d recommend it for people with big appetites. It was almost a meal in itself for me. We didn’t get any shakes, but they all looked amazing. A steady stream of customers came in. A lot of the customers were carry outs. A few customers ate in (like we did). Dining room is super clean, well lit. We definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back.“

“This place is a big surprise. Looks like a dumpy neighborhood bar from the outside. Stuck in a small factory village but the factory is long gone. Not much parking available so we expected it to be completely full.Inside: more room than expected. Nicer than expected. Awesome food (bar food - burgers and fish and enchaldas). This was the biggest surprise. Simply did not expect food this good here. Good beer choices too. A variety of local (Michigan) craft beers on tap. The waitress was a little grumpy, but everyone has a bad day. Service was still very good, but no service with a smile. It was very busy though so she did not have a lot of time to be friendly.Burgers were outstanding and Enchaladas were huge and delicious. Great fries too. Patrons were just normal people having a nice time. Good Folk.Parking: The tiny lot fills up fast, there is some street parking in the little neighborhood. “Our usual server, Erin, makes this place our go to for family dinners. The food has been AMAZING since the new ownership, but Erin’s service has made Sports a standout for our family. She is quick to attend to our needs, and she’s always extra kind and attentive to our son and our dog (when the patio is open). We arrived with an hour left before they closed, but we were never rushed through ordering, and they didn't make us feel like we couldn't order certain things. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and the seasoning on the chicken was so good, and it was perfectly crispy. The chicken strips were very big, too. My children ordered Mickey Mouse pancakes, and the very sweet waitress made a smiley face with whipped cream (after asking permission). For dessert, we ordered the almond joy cake and it was delicious! My daughter and I can't wait to go back and get more! While we were waiting for our did, the waitress recognized that my toddler was getting fussy, so she brought over soup crackers and coloring books and crayons. Olga's is a Michigan tradition and I have been eating at Olga's since I was 5 yrs old in 1991...32 years of Olgie Greatness in ma belly! You must get an Orange Cream Cooler when you go...its an Olga's Tradition! If you don't like oranges and cream, then you should get a lemonade because you are not worthy of an Orange Cream Cooler. Olga's prices in 1991 were as high as they are today, which means they were pre-adjusting to todays current inflation 32 years ago...did they know something?
