“Rain was our server. We were a family of 3. We sat at a booth. There was plenty of room for us and the seats were comfortable. The TV's had a variety of sports on. We were there for a late dinner. We ordered the Sirloin dinner with fries and broccoli ($28), Mac and cheese kids meal w/ cookie & ice cream dessert ($11) and 1/2 platter of nachos (happy hour $10 at 8pm). The food was great. The steak was cooked to my partner's liking (medium well). Rain was super energetic, very attentive, communicative and overall a great host. We really enjoyed our dinner. We will be coming back. Sofia, the owner didn't hesitate to invite me to still sit down and eat stating, "don't worry about it, we'll figure something out". “Friendly workers and clean environment. The crepe was so delicious, you have to try the savory crepes they are very good. I got the western crepe to share. We got it to go so the worker made the crepe portable to eat while exploring the Square One mall. The only problem is my friend and I had a small stomach ache after eating here and it was the only thing we ate for breakfast. I hope they use fresher ingredients next time.“
“My family and I went on a Monday morning (around 8 am) and it was empty, the food was great, I had the cinnamon raisin toast French toast and they were so good, not as sweet as I thought it was going to be. “My husband, daughter, and I were up for 24 hours after taking 3 flights. When we checked into the Double Tree hotel we were greeted with so much kindness. The front desk staff even got milk and cookies for our toddler. We got a few hours of sleep and then went for breakfast at the Taza Grill and Bar. Our 2 servers Sylvia and Alina were so friendly! I believe that the total is well over $1 million. For a small community pub, that is quite an accomplishment.“

I didn't have a car with me, nor did I want to walk to another restaurant, so I thought I'd give this restaurant a chance as it's conveniently located in the hotel.For the food, it's pretty decent for the price point, so if you're more value food oriented, this could be a good spot for you. My steak was seasoned well, and the peppercorn sauce was tasty. It's not a top tier cut of course, but if you wanted something affordable and made right to what you ask, this is a good choice. Kudos to the chef for doing medium rare, right.I think what particularly made my experience very good was the Bartender named Pauline. I was looking at the menu outside and she called me into the restaurant in a very endearing way. She could see I was tired and hungry, and I joined her at the bar for dinner for one. She was pleasant and friendly, and kept the right amount of time with me on how my meal was doing and helping with other guests coming from the hotel.She actively called in guests to come into the restaurant, made them feel welcome and I saw her several times thanking guest as they were leaving for coming in despite being a bit busy at times with other guests.
