“I could hardly believe it, we called last night at 6:45pm and asked if there was any chance they could accommodate a party of 22 because our scheduled venue was no longer available to us. We were scrambling, but this Turtle Jack's Manager was so kind, understanding and pleasant on the phone, she said "I can make that happen for you, when can you get here?" 15 minutes later we arrived to a fully organized set of tables in the restaurant all ready for us, set up so nicely that you would have thought we had booked weeks earlier.Then our amazing server team, Ali & Ciara went above and beyond to take care of us. “My family and I went to Moxies while vacationing in the area, after a long drive from Ottawa we were tired and just wanted to eat dinner. I ordered the beef tenderloin (amazing)husband had ribeye ( also amazing) staff was friendly with great customer service (multiple stops at table to see if everything was fine and if we needed anything) however I did have an issue with an item on my plate and within 10 mins of letting our server know one of the managers ( I’m sorry I forgot her name) was at our table to discuss the issue and assure she would rectify the problem, when she returned with the bill so over compensated us on our bill. Definitely recommend Moxies in Hamilton staff was friendly and quick to rectify the problem as well as multiple apologies for the issue. Sometime s**t happens but it doesn’t mean the food isn’t great. Will defiantly return when in the area“

“Dined here for the first time last night and it was absolutely the best meal I’ve had in a very long time! Started with caprese salad and risotto balls which were perfect in every way. The fresh pesto with the caprese was a delicious and fresh twist. Risotto balls were stuffed and cooked beautifully and served on a bed of the best tomato sauce, I couldn’t bare to leave any on the plate. My partner had the beef tenderloin which made me envious but my pork schnitzel with mushroom demi, mashed potato’s and veggies couldn’t have been any better if they tried. A small and intimate atmosphere and the waitresses are very friendly and attentive in all the right ways. This is my new favourite spot, a true gem. Will be back many more times to try everything else on the menu!“

Charged a 95% cancelation fee to my CC without telling me.. when I noticed the charge on my card, I spoke to Uber eats who refused to refund the "cancelation fee", and would not place a reorder without me paying again (double charge) for the original order. I ended up driving to the restaurant and told them of the situation and they made sure I was taken care of. They fufulied my order without knowing if UE would give them the money they are owed. I absolutely recommend this place and have ordered from them many times, every single time the food is incredible. “It’s always a pleasure to pop in to Isabelle’s at The Pearle Hotel and Spa in Burlington to enjoy the tranquility, lake and food. They were on the brunch menu and busy with some larger tables of 6, 4s and 2s. The restaurant was about half full and hostess confirmed lamb sausages and gluten free toast was available. The server came over within 2 minutes and I ordered immediately and she brought my hot water with lemon within a minute. I enjoyed myself observing everything and noticed it was over 20 minutes that I ordered. Just under 25 minutes my server told me it was coming and it appeared - the Florentine Benedict on Gluten Free with potatoes and the 3 lamb sausages that were a bit spicy. I don’t mind spice so no issue. The eggs were perfect medium, flavourful as well as the sausages fully cooked. So why a 4? The time it took without setting my expectation before, during and after ordering. My suggestions would be letting guests coming in know the time that entrees will take, the server reconfirming it and keeping me updated on status. Checking in every 10 min or so as well. I’m not sure if the cooking line manager and servers/floor manager are in sync. Being half busy I would have expected more speed of delivery and engagement for a single table order. Further the runner/server that brought it out didn’t ask if I’d like anything else on delivery. Another server came over 3 minutes after serving and asked how it was and if I needed anything. Also they should check with the guest that they are ok with spicy sausages. My daughter loves lamb sausages but couldn’t eat those if I brought her so I can’t. “Hello hungry world.My colleague and I frequent this place for late lunches. We had to stop going to the neighboring shoeless Joe's as the service was horrendous and always getting worse.We then came to milestones. We have been treated very well, as far as the bar keep remembering our standard order and several of them carrying om great discussions.The beer is cold, usually fresh and served promptly. The food is well prepared, overall good. A bit limited on the options, not that I prefer a huge manue, just that there is not a lot of variety between dishes. Really my only complaint on the food side. (Also quite quick)Setting is nice and clean. However, I do complain that there is sometimes an order near the bathroom side of the bar..
