“I ordered the bbq and crispy rice one and it was so good. The portion was generous, the BBQ was flavorful and tender, and the crispy chicken had that perfect crunchy texture. Everything was well-seasoned without being too salty or oily. Definitely worth it!“

“If you’re on the hunt for an exceptional dining experience, look no further than Noodle Legend in North York. This charming restaurant stands out for its commitment to quality and authenticity, making it a must-visit for noodle enthusiasts.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. The soups I sampled boasted an incredible depth of flavor, with a rich broth crafted from high-quality ingredients that truly elevate the dish. Each spoonful was a testament to the chef’s dedication to culinary excellence.
Equally noteworthy was the atmosphere. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between casual dining and refined elegance. What truly stood out, however, was the service. The staff exuded a level of professionalism that one might expect in a five-star establishment, treating each guest with genuine care and attention.
While the seating could be a touch more comfortable, this minor detail is easily overshadowed by the swift service, delicious food, and inviting environment. Noodle Legend is a hidden gem that promises a memorable dining experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a taste of quality noodles in North York.“

“I've been to this place many times and it's been amazing every single visit. It's also something you can't get at other places. It's piping hot so you need to poke a hole and cool it down but the meat and juice inside the bao is amazing.
Personal Highlights
Original Fried Bao
Shrimp Fried Bao
Dry Noodle with Meat Sauce and Peppercorn Oil
My partner also likes the Savory Dought Fritter Roll but I was okay with it.
I would skip the Truffle Fried Bao as it didn't really elevate the experience.
The service is fine.“

“I love The Bridge Ribs. The owners are always so friendly and welcoming, and the food — especially the chicken burger and shrimp burger — is absolutely delicious. I’ve already been there four times this week! After trying their burgers, I’m sure the rest of the menu will be just as good, so I’m planning to try something new next time.
I was going to take a photo, but I enjoyed the food so much that by the time I realized, only an empty box was left. 😅“

“A very pleasant dining experience. The staff was attentive and genuinely helpful in guiding us toward the right menu choices. I would happily recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.“

“I ordered the pork knuckle rice and the half pork knuckle and half pig intestine rice.
The pork knuckle was super tender and flavorful. The rice box comes with lettuce, pickled veggies, tofu and half an egg. I wasnt a big fan of the pork intestines because of the taste.
The total came out to around $28. The meal is super filling for the cost“

“As someone growing up in Hong Kong, I have to say this place surprises me. Food look and taste to what I'm looking for. Can't believe I have to visit Toronto from the Bay area to finding authentic Hong Kong Cafe food. If I come back to Toronto I'll eat here again. Thanks for having me.“

“Had a late lunch here on Saturday. It was my first time and I loved it. We arrived around 2pm. Lots of free parking available. We received a friendly greeting and directed to an open table. Every table had a little tablet to order from. You can also request other items. Each table has drawers with cutlery and napkins. We ordered Kim's JJamppong and a new item (white JJamppong). The first is spice and had a deepr flavour from the pork. The second is brimming with smoky flavour. Both are great! And of course the noodles 🍜 are a huge highlight. We also ordered sweet and sour pork. Very unique and tasty. All dishes are great value. Loved the service and the kpop. Would love to come again.“

“If you're looking for a genuine taste of Northeastern Chinese cooking in a place where every dish is made with care and served in generous portions, look no further than Tao's Chinese Kitchen.
As a lover of bold flavors and satisfying meals, I was absolutely blown away. The Stewed Pork Hock is a must-order—sliced thin and served cold, it's incredibly flavorful and melts in your mouth. The spicy Black Fungus salad is moreish in the best way, with a kick that makes it impossible to stop eating. For a main, the Braised Beef Noodle Soup is a standout; the broth is rich, the beef is tender, and the noodles have that perfect bouncy, chewy texture that makes the dish. The Yangzhou Fried Rice was a hit at our table, full of wok-hei and expertly cooked.
Be prepared for the true Northeastern experience: the portions are enormous! Our group of four left feeling wonderfully full and satisfied, having shared just a few dishes. Seeing their special New Year celebration pack on offer shows they care about tradition, and the fact it's filled with their signature braised meats tells you everything about their quality.
Between the authentic flavors, the hearty serving sizes, and the welcoming feel, this place has quickly become a favorite. Highly recommend for anyone craving a delicious, filling, and utterly satisfying Chinese meal.“

“Bao House absolutely exceeded expectations. The deep-fried tofu is some of the best I’ve ever had perfectly light, airy, and crispy on the outside while staying soft inside. It’s not greasy at all, just beautifully cooked and incredibly satisfying.
The pan-fried dumplings were equally impressive: crisp on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavour. Every bite was comforting and well-balanced. And the soup dumplings deserve special mention rich, juicy, and full of depth, with delicate wrappers that held together perfectly.
You can really tell care goes into both the food and execution here. Everything we tried was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and genuinely delicious. Bao House is the kind of place that makes you want to come back and order the same dishes again and then branch out to try more. Highly recommend.“

“This is the BEST fast food Chinese restaurant in the Canada! The Fried chicken, the brown fried rice, veggies, chicken ball battered shrimp, noodles, everything is great here. The staff is courteous , nice and friendly, and the owner is an amazing and hard working person. More importantly the history, it has been around forever. China Wok is a staple and blessing to the Jane and Finch Community. maybe one day it could be a Heritage Site 😊 Thanks for everything China Wok! 🙏“

“Overall, my experience was just okay.
The environment was pleasant and clean, and the general flavor of the dishes was acceptable. No major complaints on the ambiance or basic taste.
However, the main issue was the freshness of the food. The meat did not seem as fresh as I would have liked, and some of the cold dishes also tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. This significantly detracted from the meal's quality.
If the kitchen can address the freshness of their ingredients, particularly the meat and cold appetizers, this restaurant would definitely earn a higher rating.
Would you like me to make any adjustments to this review before you post it?“

“Came in for a friend's birthday party, the price for dinner was decent and the food selection was actually pretty good! We came during a Wednesday night so there wasn't too many people here. I assume it gets most busy during lunch time. The food selection ranged from noodles, rice, fish, chicken, dim sum, soups to even sweets such as jellos, fresh waffles, cake and ice cream. There's also a salad bar. Everyone enjoyed their food, averaging 3 plates for each friend (not including dessert) our recommendations is the lo mien and the chow mein with string beans. My friend really enjoyed the cocktail shrimp with the seafood sauce. I also really liked the muscles. The staff were friendly, esp our host. Each food item was pretty decently seasoned. Birthday boy ordered the margarita, it was sweet and refreshing he said. Oh, I forgot to mention each person was given a free soda drink which is kind of them. I'm surprised as I usually don't have high standards for buffets but I'd love to return here eventually. Thank you staff for the nice experience here :)“

“I have been coming here for years to enjoy their noodles with toppings. Great healthy and tasty food with awesome value! Love their wontons and soup. The soup is clean and not greasy at all. Fresh and fast. They are just as good as when I first tried this place many years ago.

“The Hakka restaurants on Richmond Hill are all fast closing down or gone so it was a surprise to find this one still functioning. It’s only take out now and it is run by an old charming Chinese couple so there is a wait time. But the food is tasty and authentic and not too bad on your wallet. So cheers and hope this one stays for some time. I ordered Cantonese Chow mein, Ginger Beef and Sweet corn chicken soup. The beef and the soup are delicious 🎶🎶“

“An interesting juxtaposition of a nice, clean, well run Persian lounge, with someone in the back who clearly knows what they're doing with pasta. The food was great. Pasta was done perfectly, presented nicely with some unique flair, al dente and served hot. We had the vodka (Romanoff) , and truffle(I don't remember the names it was the last on the list) pastas. We were both impressed with the quality and flavour richness. We were there early on a Friday evening, the only other customers were smoking on hookahs (we weren't bothered by it, I don't think I noticed it in the air), and perhaps having a drink. It was easy to park right in front. The restaurant is located in the corner of the outdoor strip mall, a few doors down from Subway, in the World on Yonge complex. A nice find in the neighborhood.“

“I can’t recommend this spot enough-it’s a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming, with a clean, cozy atmosphere that instantly felt like home. The staff? Absolute rockstars-friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. They made every visit feel special, whether I was grabbing a quick bite or lingering longer. The food-or drinks, or service, whatever they do-was top-notch. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and everything prepared with care. Prices are fair, too, so you get great value without skimping on quality. If it’s a café, their lattes are divine; restaurant, mains hit perfect; shop, the finds are unbeatable-like, why leave? Honestly, this place nails it every time. It’s become my go-to for any occasion, and I’m already planning my next trip. Don’t sleep on it-come check it out and see for yourself why it’s so awesome! That’s about two hundred words, tweak it with specifics if needed.“

“I’ve been coming to this family owned Mala Town for over 4 years now, and the quality has been consistently amazing every single time. The food is always incredibly flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. You can truly taste the care and attention they put into every dish.

“I’ve been to many Asian spots in the area, but Ming Cuisine really stands out for its consistency and quality.
The menu is incredibly diverse, offering food options for any palate—whether you want something spicy and bold or light and traditional.
I was especially impressed with how they handled gluten-free dietary restrictions. They were very accommodating and knowledgeable when I asked, making the meal stress-free.
On top of that, the service was fast and efficient, and the bill was a pleasant surprise—the cost is very reasonable compared to other Asian cuisine spots in town.
Definitely a 5-star experience!“

“One of the few old school chinese food spots. I am very happy I found this place. I was trying to find old-school canadian chinese food. Everywhere I looked up was hakka (not sure if that's the right spelling) chinese, which I'm not familiar with. I've only had takeout but even the decor is an old style restaurant, it's very cool. 👌 It's hard to say prices it all depends on what you're ordering.“
“Nothing but great things to say. If you want some hot spicy soup on a cold day? This is the spot. Most places have semi-spicy soup, but if you want a challenge, this is your spot. The braised chicken is beautiful tender and flavourful. With the price, they do not cheap out on the serving size. With each bite I took it didn’t feel like the dish was shrinking but rather growing with how much meat they gave!! This review is not based off of one visit either. Every time I’ve eaten here it’s been nothing but consistent.“

“My go-to spot for authentic Cantonese dishes. “Located near Hwy7 & Bayview, Hu Tu Lou showcases a fusion of Sichuan and homestyle Chinese flavors across its diverse menu. The Spicy Fish and Pork Intestine Soup (Shuizhu style) employs hot oil infusion with chili and Sichuan peppercorns, creating a layered piquancy. The Tomato and Egg Stir-Fry balances protein coagulation and tomato pectin release for a tangy, comforting taste. Stir-Fried Pork Shreds with Dried Bean Curd highlights the bean product’s porous structure, readily absorbing spicy sauce. The Cumin Lamb capitalizes on the aromatic synergy between lamb fat and cumin’s volatile compounds. Sizzling Black Pepper Beef locks in juices on a scorching iron plate, emphasizing tenderness and savory depth. Lastly, the Quick-Fried Pork Kidney depends on precise knife skills and high-heat stir-frying to retain its crisp texture and meld with spicy elements.“
