“Our visit for lunch was great! We let Tania know that we were tight on time and she got our food out super quick. We had a gluten allergy at the table and Tania and the rest of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great location, great service and food. We will be coming back soon!“

“The food here is good and the restaurant experience is very good and the staff are very friendly and very polite and they always try their best to make sure that you have a good experience and they play sports events besides the leafs which nice and 2 staff by the bar area especially professional their names are Pavit and his amazing co-worker Steph they stay on top of everything they are very friendly and knowledgeable and they are very nice people if you ever decide to come to this restaurant be sure to be in these 2 people’s area of the restaurant you won’t regret it and today September 29 2025 the waitress named Arsh has ok job and she her boss is very polite.“

“A pleasant and welcoming place to dine with family and friends..although the waitresses were accommodating they tend to forget the number of tables they have to attend to. The food and dessert were very inviting and mouth watering.. it gave us time to communicate with each other.“

“It's a hotel restaurant next to the lobby. It is what it is, but I've been coming to this restaurant for years even though i have never stayed at the hotel. The food is good. The service is excellent. It's quiet. It's never too busy. It's 100% reliable. It's perfect for a simple business lunch and so conveniently located. If you're looking for highly imaginative 5 star dining, this is not the place, but if you want good food, with something on the menu for everyone, lots of parking and a perfectly pleasant environment, this is a good option.“

“So I went to this restaurant on August 8th this week for a social event, and the onion rings and chicken fingers were good and the service was good. However, if you require news captioning, there is something wrong with the TVs or with the service that the restaurant uses which prevents them from being able to turn on closed captioning for the CP24 news channel. I was very confused as to why the staff I asked said no to me - I genuinely believed discrimination at first. However, someone from the social attempted to navigate the menus and the option for closed captioning was grayed out and not selectable. I hope that issue can be corrected in due time around the TV and/or the service as captioning has many beneficiaries and I would hate for the restaurant to miss out on repeat business because of that. My recommendation is thus based on the service around food. Numerically, everything overall is a 4 out of 5.“

I got the indicative that the people I went with also had a very great time. The artist singing and playing the guitar was very good as well. I have a fun evening. “If you’re after a casual, neighbourhood pub with character, The Franklin House is likely to be a good fit. It’s great for:
Meeting friends over a pint and wings
Casual dinners in a historic setting
A lively evening out (with music, atmosphere)“

“I loved the rooftop ambience and the street view. Gave the impression of an old time Mexican street cafe.
The food was well prepared and well served too. We ordered the Steak Sandwich and the Chicken Wrap. Heavy must say. Rather filling.
The service was great! And I must add that the Long Island Iced Tea was prepared quite well.
Value for money.
For parking - I'd suggest the Library which is a short walk away.
Else there's paid parking on the street.“

“Me and my mom came here to eat a quick little you know lunch after a day of shopping on a Saturday and I was like so pleasantly surprised!

We both ordered salads! And the salads were absolutely amazing. I had mine with chicken. Mine was the candied fig with an extra side of chicken.: fairy tasty meal like extremely tasty loved every bit of it and my mom just had a regular garden salad with shrimp added and hers as well. Very nice. She loved every minute of it.

I think it was even more memorable. Is that while we were there there was a sweet 16 birthday party and although the place was very well decked out and full, we still were treated with great service. And the food tasted amazing and did not take long to come out.

Separate sidenote our server smelt absolutely amazing. He let me know he was wearing Prada black which was so appropriate for the venue.

All in all, it was a great experience and I absolutely adored it! I’ll be returning soon!“
