“We've been customers for years, since the opening. We've always loved the cakes, cookies, and pastries. I pre-ordered a cake for a birthday to be picked up for 12pm. At 1pm, the cake is still frozen rock solid in the middle. I've attached pics to show the frozen cake parts. When I called to speak to someone, I was told "leave it out 30 minutes from time of pick up." I then asked what a customer is to do, in terms of wanting a cake for immediate eating. She said order it for pickup with 2-3 hours of leeway for cake to warm up. This is shocking. I've never heard of eating frozen cake other than from Fairy Queen. Also a customer has to give leeway time for eating it? Wow. Time to find a new bakery.“
“Ordered a dessert table for our wedding and was super impressed with Sandra's responsiveness and smooth coordination. Guests raved about the variety of flavors and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. I thought the prices were more than reasonable and didn't feel that because my event was a wedding, there was an automatic 30% markup like other bakeries I dealt with. Would highly reccommend for any event! Thank you Sandra and especially for those salted caramel profiteroles!“
“3.5, hidden sweets/cake place with a sandwich counter in an industrial area. Small place which seems to service primarily the people working in the area. They may wholesale cakes to grocery stores/bakeries. Found this place on Google while I was in the area. It's a coupla units north from La Parmigiana/around the corner from the popular Pho Ngoc Yen. When you walk in, there are a couple of small tables and there's a glass showcase with cakes/small desserts (~$2ea). They also other treats that aren't displayed but are in the back. I grabbed a pecan square and a small, round tiramisu (~$4.50). Both were reasonably priced, not overly sweet, but NOT amazing. I'd liken the quality to sweets that you'd find at a neighbourhood café, as opposed to a really great bakery. For example, the pecan square looked really good, I assumed it would be a butter cookie base, but it was just a chewy texture, as opposed to a buttery, crunchy bite. Tiramisu, although the ingredients seemed decent, I did not taste any coffee, but it was still good, creamy - just not a tiramisu. Not a bad place to stop by if you're in the area looking for a sweet treat! According to their website, their cakes seemed decently priced.“
“I had my sister’s wedding on Sunday. I ordered 150 pieces of those “dark almond cookies with almonds”. I ordered them 2 days before the wedding and they were able to accommodate my last minute request! I was happy to receive them very fresh. I had a lot of our guests come and ask where we got them from because in Libya we serve this type of sweet/dessert at our weddings and special occasions.“
