“So this boutique shop is tucked away in the unit right next to Yuzu No Ki (sharing a space w/ Tora Sushi). My gf and I did not even notice it the first time around when we visited Yuzu No Ki (which is also a 5 star shop btw).Admittedly, I'm not the biggest mochi fan, but the quality of these mochis were incredible. My gf ordered an assorted box of 6 mochis.Very fresh and I really liked the cream filled mochis more than the regular filling ones. Mango in particular, struck a deep chord w/ me. I love mango anything and the mango mochi did not disappoint. To get the best tasting experience, take your refrigerated mochis out and let them rest until room temperature before consuming. I found that the dough and filling had a better mouth feel upon waiting a bit after taking them out of the fridge.“
“I placed an order for strawberry shortcake to be delivered to my sister. It was sent at the appointed time, with the cake being in perfect condition. The way it was boxed looked so premium! It was the highlight of my sister’s week, and according to everyone who ate it, it was so delicious. It was a seamless transaction from start to finish.? ??“
“This cute patisserie is located inside JTown. It reminds me of Duo Patisserie a lot with the style of the pastries, the similar tart crust and the expensive prices (each pastry ranges from $5 to $8).My gf and I tried the basque cheesecake and the lumiere pastry tart.Basque cheesecake: Really light, fluffy and perfect burnt topping. The cheesecake was rich but still moist.Lumiere pastry tart: The crust was made from a REALLY good cookie crumble. The cheese mousse was lemony and the blueberry yogurt inside cut through the richness of the cheese perfectly.Sadly, because of how expensive this place is (and how far it is from me), I don't think I'd be a regular. I do want to come back and try the Abbie (chocolate raspberry) and Violetta (ube sweet cream) tarts though. They just popped out at me in the dessert window but my gf was feeling the other ones more haha.“
“Tried their mini 6 batch (matcha, Earl Grey, coffee, chocolate, mango, original). Especially enjoyed the Earl Grey and coffee flavours. They were good (when you bite into the cakes, you can hear the air leaving -- they're thar fluffy). Loved the portion sizes; small, but still shareable for bite sizes among 2-4 people.Worth a try. They have cookies, roll cakes and drinks (although they were still setting up when I went today).Packaging: Beautiful! Packed and wrapped with care.Ample parking, cute store in general, speedy service.“
“Love all Italian desserts ,eclairs, cakes, ricotta canoli, cookies, baklava and Gelato icecream. Variety of lasagna and other frozen and fresh pasta etc items. Tasty, fresh and very reasonably priced compared to other different bakeries. Only take out and no dine in.“
“Tucked away in the Gal's Sushi plaza (behind Gal's Sushi) at Warden and Highway 7.My friend ordered a 6 pc assorted box of mochi bubbles to try for dessert on a saturday evening.Chestnut matcha: I've been eating stronger and stronger matcha over the years so my tolerance/preference for DARK matcha is very high. So while university me would've said this was good, it was too light on the matcha flavour for me (the chestnut flavour also wasn't very pronounced).Mango grapefruit: My goodness. This one was my runaway favourite. If I ever come back I might ONLY order this one. The flavour was super pronounced and deep. The cream was nicely balanced.Strawberry rose: Again, not that strong. The scent was very florally and the cross section was super pretty (great for IG) but the flavour could've been stronger. I do think it places 2nd behind the mango grapefruit though.Coconut latte: The most mid one in my opinion. It literally tasted like a cream puff. The coconut taste was LIGHT as hell. It tasted like something I could've whipped up at home.Bubble tea: The tapiocas in the middle made this one taste a lil too ooey goeey for me simply because the mochi is already kinda chewy and then when you add tapioca into the inside mix, it starts to get a lil weird texturally inside your mouth (maybe it's just me). Flavour was like milk tea flavoured.Taro salted egg yolk: Very unique flavour and in my top 3 after mango and strawberry prolly. I thought it would be weird eating salted yolk in its non-molten liquid form inside a dessert. This lil pocket changed my perception. Salted egg yolk tastes quite nice cold haha.I definitely think I should've swapped out coconut latte or the bubble tea flavour for the oreo chocolate flavour. The chocolate sponge in that one would've undoubtedly had a stronger flavour. At $31.99 for a box of 6, these desserts are definitely not worth it. But every so often if you want to indulge go ahead! I would only come here once in a blue moon. Because of the quality of the mochi bubbles, I'll award 4 stars.“
“Insanely good. I've only been there once and bought a s'mores cookie. Y'all. That cookie changed my life. Before, I was never really a cookie person. I'm not a hater but I wasn't a lover. But that cookie literally change my life. Its amazing to get such great products from a locally owned “
“I recently visited a local store that serves the most refreshing and delicious fresh juices I have ever tasted. The quality of their juices is unmatched, and every sip bursts with pure, natural flavor. It's truly one of the best juice spots I have come across – no additives, just pure, fresh ingredients that make you feel like you're indulging in a five-star experience. If you're looking for a place that prioritizes freshness and taste above all else, this store is a must-visit!Parking: in front of the store over 30 spots“
“Omg... the cherry Danish is AMAZING... first time going in here to grab some sweets with hubby.. we grab some cherry Danish, chocolate melon bread and a beef curry bread.. The cherry Danish took us out.. they are so delicious, they are so favorable... I want to go back and grab a box of them.. the teller that was there was so kind , told us that their melon bread is almost like a Mexican concha, but BETTER and he ain't lied about it, it's soft and has more taste to it, he was so nice and kind.. definitely going back for more danishes and other things to try out..10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️s if you ask me..“
“I ordered a cake for my daughter’s first birthday. It was a fruit themed birthday! The cake was absolutely perfect! And that’s not even enough to describe it. They did exactly what I asked for and more. It was the most beautiful cake! I definitely recommend and I most definitely will be a returning customer!“

“Indulging in the one-bear mousse cake and grape cakes was a delightful experience. The bear mousse cake stole the show with its rich, velvety texture and a perfect balance of sweetness. Each bite revealed layers of chocolatey goodness, making it a true decadent treat. The grape cakes, on the other hand, offered a refreshing contrast, combining the natural sweetness of grapes with a moist and light cake. Together, they created a harmonious dessert duo that left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for those seeking a delightful blend of flavors and textures.“
“This cozy place has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, generous portions, affordable prices and wonderful dessert. The place is very clean with a nice seating area. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.“
“Excellent cafe for some me-time or a date. The place was clean, pretty, and the food and drinks are all highly detail-oriented and presentable for cute pictures! My little sister and I came and we both got a drink and a pastry. With tip it came to around $32, so it’s definitely not a cheap eats type of spot, but if you want to spend a little money on yourself without breaking the bank, and also enjoy a serene environment to decompress, this is a great spot! Might be back soon for the afternoon tea set when I want to splurge again!“
“Delicious and freshly made! The ebi (shrimp) katsu was amazing and so was the chicken katsu. Their milk bread is fluffy and not too heavy. The seaweed fries and their curry sauce dip were also delicious. The only mistake we made was ordering through UberEats for pickup, where everything was at least $2-3 more expensive. Next time, we’ll just order directly at the store.“
“Such a nice lady that bakes from home. Her prices are very fair and quality is great. If you ever make a trip to Jtown's Bakery Nakamura, you'll probably notice their tofu cheesecake in the cake area. It's light, creamy, and has the just right balance of cream cheese and tofu. It's a lighter option to the traditional New York cheesecakes. Now, for a few dollars less, you can actually order from Sugar Soul. It's a more convenient location too if you're in the North York area. Sugar Soul also offers an array of different desserts, which can be found on their IG. They also get back to you pretty quick so you don't have to wait days on end for someone to reply you. Would definitely order from her more often if she wasn't so far from me!“
“Janice is very nice and friendly. She takes time to understand the need for the occasion and explains different options clearly. I have opted for 5-inch strawberry mousse cake and it was so delicious! Will definitely go back to try the chestnut and mango cakes next time!“
“This bakery reminds me so much of the Portuguese bakeries I grew up with in Cape Town. They've got every Portuguese confection under the sun including savoury items like rissois (dried cod OR meat "croquette") to die for. All the bread was phenomenal but sadly they don't make corn bread which is a much-loved Portuguese staple. The place is scrupulously clean, the lady behind the counter was friendly and polite. The pasteis da nata were straight out of the oven - I mean PLEASE!The assortment of items is massive.A gem of a place. Warm Portuguese hospitality from the moment you enter this heavenly place.“
“I've been buying bread and cakes from Tastee for years and years. The strawberry shortcake is my favourite and service is always awesome. I've sent many referrals over the years, including wedding cake orders. Please never stop making the strawberry shortcake. :)“
“Been wanting to try this place. We high tea there one afternoon. The location was easy to find with parking on site. The food was good (took a bit longer to make) but they tasted good. The server was polite and friendly. I’d say it’s a good location to meet-up and chat since it’s not crowded like some of the other overly popular afternoon tea places.“
“We had the corn cake which was quite good. It could be better if the corn flavour were more pronounced. It was too mild and only the cream seemed to have the corn flavour. The cake inside was plain - good still but no flavour. Not too sweet which was great. There was a lot of cream though, would have preferred a balance between cake and cream. The 5” cake was $38.They included a sparkler instead of a candle and a birthday greeting which was an appreciated touch as we were getting it for a friend’s birthday. We also had the soya mochi cake which I thought had way too much cream and had a stretchy stringy characteristic (similar to okra slime, which is probably the mochi-ness). I didn’t like this one too much. It was on sale as Today’s Special at $12.50 instead of $17.50. The cakes all looked very good to eat, very pretty. But flavour wise, it doesn’t quite hit the spot on expectations on flavour.Service was excellent- the lady behind the counter was patient and she deceived the cakes pretty well giving a list of ingredients. They had many other good looking cakes which I want to try.Take out only.“
“We ordered 3 different South Asian flavored rolled ice creams (milk cake / mango hawa / gulag jamun). Our ice cream maker was Ahmed and he was extremely helpful & friendly. He educated us on the flavors & also ensured they were made very cold so they last the drive home. We all loved each one, I would highly recommend this ice cream shop. Amazing service and product“
