“Love the place. Really nice food, clean and the food is amazing. Been there twice with my parents and we are already in love with it. Will be back for sure again. I love the decor. Very inviting and the owners are really nice. The chef is amazing. This is going to be my favourite spot to go and have my morning coffee, and just make it a morning routine, sitting outside on the patio, under a nice umbrella, having my coffee and some Turkish breakfast before I start my day.“
“We ordered the panini, matcha latte, Italian coke and pepperoni pizza all was delicious and we loved the flavor of the panini!!! Fresh, delicious and tasty! The pizza was different but in a good way!!! Really good! We love it! The only thing that I will suggest it was the service being a little but slow with the Cutlery, we had our pizza but not plates, after a few minutes waiting, we have to remember them about it; that doesn’t bother us that much, but Overall rating will be 5 stars, I will come back for sure, that little thing don’t opaque my experience at all because everything was really good!“
“it’s kinda hard to notice when driving by, but incredibly cute and cozy inside. the hot chocolate was delicious and the latte as well. staff was kind and you can tell they take pride in their work by how clean the space is, and how they put effort into each drink.“
“I absolutely love this place! By far the best coffee and pastries in the area. Although they are a relatively new bakery, the reputation that they’ve built for themselves amongst the city, and especially the Lawrence Park community is remarkable!“
“Great for a quick bite and very friendly service! I tried the Pistachio Mocha for something different and it had a lovely delicate flavour, not overly sweet. Wide selection of drinks. The pastries are delicious. Several options to choose from in addition to amazing sandwiches and many vegetarian options! The very fresh chicken Caesar salad is packaged (dressing in container) so you could take it to go- and had a decent amount of chicken, crispy croutons and cheese. It was about $12 which is a good price. Everything very affordable for level of deliciousness. Support local business for a healthier and better quality lunch than you’d get at fast food place. There are tables which fit four people each, and then a bar with metal stools (no backs on them) sorta accessible just small. No patio. This is at the west end of a busy plaza.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian sandwichesParking: There was snow which had been piled up in the closest spots so nothing accessible very close. The plaza was busy when we were thereWheelchair accessibility: It would be tight to eat at a table inside“
“Delicious sandwiches made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love! The café has a soul, and the owner puts in effort to ensure everyone leaves satisfied. I highly recommend their beef sandwich and their bagel with egg and turkey. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality they offer. It's important to support local businesses that truly care about their customers.“
“Landwer Cafe is a delightful spot with a cozy ambiance and delicious food. During my recent visit, the standout was our waitress, Aida, whose service was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. Aida's warmth and efficiency added an extra layer of satisfaction to our meal. I highly recommend Landwer Cafe for both the food and the outstanding service provided by Aida.“

“I have tried Hainanese Chicken, BAK-KUT-TEH, and Basil Pesto Pasta. All of the dishes taste good, especially the BAK-KUT-TEH, which is a soup with Asian herbs and is perfect with rice. I will definitely visit again! No picture of the soup as we dip in as it comes.“
“The servers were friendly and very helpful. The manager visits each table, engaging with the customers and making sure we're happy with the food and the service. The food was delicious and arrived in a timely fashion. I'm definitely returning.“
“A very pleasant experience!I've been visiting Loveis for the last few months and each time just gets better and better. The food quality is top notch and you feel like you are eating at home thanks to their professional service. The lady chef is amazing.“
“Located by the condos, Forest Cafe is a busy local cafe that is not only a great place to chill, but to also grab some bites and drinks. The difficult part about visiting, is probably finding road side parking on the weekends as it's usually full. We came on Sat around 2:30pm, and it was quite full inside. The food menu consists of simple sandwiches, croffles and snacks on display. We opted to try the Beef Sausage Sandwich, Chocolate Croffle, Brownie and Dalgona Coffee Latte. The sandwich was quite tasty - a toasted croissant sandwich with a big piece of beef sausage, wrapped with tomatoes and lettuce. Nothing special, but was satisfying enough to be my brunch meal. The croffle was very tasty, and inside was filled with Nutella - one of my favourites! The fudge brownie was also a hit, it wasn't too sweet, but had big chocolate chunks filled inside. My only complaint was that I wish it was bigger haha. The Dalgona Coffee Latte was also a great drink to complement what we ordered. We got the cold and hot, and personally I liked the hot just because cold drinks usually comes with ice, which would dilute the drink a little bit. Overall, I would definitely come back if I'm in the area, and need a place to relax. IG: Ayeween“
“I literally crave the Big Erks salad on a weekly basis. This is one of the best salads in the city and I am a big salad eater. The chicken is so fresh and well seasoned, the veggies are crisp and the dressing is amazing. When I do get a bagel on the side it’s always also perfect. The coffee is great too! This place is perfect and worth every penny. The restaurant is so clean and good vibes to sit in, and the food is unbeatable for its category. If I had an event or something I would get them to cater.“
“I bought Golden assorted set (of 5), and a bean popcicle. The lady at the store was courteous and the sweets in display looked artistic. Pretty packaging as well. The popcicle and the sweets both tasted nice. Not a lot of additives therefore tasted the bean without a doubt, but rather gentle impression with right (light) amount of sugar. This would be a great alternative to lardy and overly sweet desserts, a healthy choice. There were some interesting items i.e. Red bean slush on the menu, I would like to try sometime.“
“Excellent customer service. I love the couple who run this small cafe because they’re cheerful and service is always quick. Their hot lunches are especially good value for money — delicious with servings of green salads and fruit! This is my favourite cafe in the area! ?“
“A vacationing friend from Toronto sent me this white chocolate cookies from Nettes Cafe. They were talking about for months as they can't get over how heavenly it was. Lo and behold, we had it in no time as if coming fresh from oven despite being transported overseas:). My family even my co-worker here in the Philippines were able to enjoy this oh-so yummy, chewy, not so sweet and it's the most perfect soft cookies we ever had. Oh I heard the ensaymada is their bestseller? Can somebody from Ontario please send us please?Kid-friendliness: they have the best kid friendly food“
“Avenue road has tons of restaurants and cafe shops. I tried this one recently. It's a great neighbourhood croissant and coffee stop! Love my pitaschio croissant and cappuccino! Good service, fair price. ? tables can get a tad close together but better than no seat! Street metered parking or on the side street.“
“The Tiramisu Bingso was really delicious. The Ginger lemon tea was also great. The staff was so kind, too. When I asked for more condensed milk, he gave me more right away. It was hard to find because the store was on the second floor, but I will definitely visit again.“
“It’s been a really long time since I’ve been here and it’s nice to see the upgrades and healthy food options available. The coffee is quite pricey and is equivalent to what you’d pay at Starbucks but not quite the quality of what you pay at Starbucks. The inside was clean and the staff was absolutely friendly. Sitting at the outside benches brings me back to my childhood where I would bike to Edwards Gardens, reward myself with a popsicle and bike back home. If I come back to this barn cafe, I will try the other non-coffee drink options. Otherwise, if you want an americano coffee, get it somewhere else and bring it with you when you come to EG.“
“It's a cafe run by a Korean, so it's nice to go there, but the prices are outrageous. The drinks aren't even that delicious. Injeolmi Latte just tastes like milk, and Green Tea Latte doesn’t taste like green tea… ㅠㅠ A friend of mine said this is the most expensive place in North York... I ate here a lot without even knowing it, but I don't think I'd eat or drink anything here other than it's close and convenient. I felt like I was deceived when I visited because of the good reviews from Koreans.“
“HIGHLY recommend!Found this hidden gem by chance while looking for somewhere nearby to study, and I am very happy to have found this spot.Had their daily lunch special (Salt + Pepper fish/veggies/rice) and their iced cappuccino. Their salt + pepper fish was sooo flavourful and CRSIPY! As for their ice cappuccino, it was creamy and less sugary than the Tim Hortons version (IN A GOOD WAY! Got the caffeine I needed to study).Owner and customers are so friendly.“
“Visited Cafe Inside during a solo outing and was pleasantly surprised by its hidden gem status within a busy plaza. Despite its small size, this Korean cafe exuded a cozy and homely ambiance. The service was efficient and met expectations. Opted for a vanilla latte made with De Mello beans, I found it to be the perfect companion for my leisurely afternoon of reading. Overall, Cafe Inside proved to be an excellent spot to unwind and relax“
“Great cafe just outside Yonge-Sheppard subway station. For those working in the area, perfect spot to pick up your coffee and some snacks.Their almond croissant is absolutely amazing. The staff is very courteous too. I requested the croissant to be slightly heated and she did it perfectly. I requested for an iced coffee that is more on the sweet side, and her recommendation of the iced americano with chocolate was just the right thing I needed on a hot summer day.Well done team Vanta and see you soon“
“I have been a customer of the bakery since they were at the old location. I used to bring my dad at the old place for coffee when he was here. R Bakery is a family friendly place that I hold in high regard because they never discriminated against anyone or asked for a vax pass to dine in during covid. The bakery provided a welcome respite for everyone. I typically order their chocolate rolls or chocolate croissant because they're great. It's a great place to take a book and read for a bit. And it's probably the only cafe in the city where you can order a tea and a regular croissant for under $4. You won't get that anywhere in Toronto.UPDATEThe bakery replaced its booths with tables and there's more room to dine in. They also upgraded the tables to more modern sleek ones. The tables weren't the only upgrade. The pastries got one too. There's more decadent sweets like the crème dome and mango chocolate square. They're delicious.“
“The food and salads are very good. The cook is very good and the owner is wonderful. It's a shame that one of the girls who works there is really not qualified to be in customer service, temper wise and discipline wise I mean. According to the sign, they're supposed to be open at 9:00 a.m., and you need to get your coffee and rush to work, but she makes you wait at the door for 10 minutes. and when you ask if the coffee is ready or not, instead of answering she starts yelling: "Wait, OK?"! I told her:" Well, we need to be at work at a certain time, and we count on the hours you put there.". To my surprise, and so unlike the nice owner, she told me: " Don't come here then." Seriously?! The 2 stars I took off rating are only because of this girl. Otherwise I love this place.Ok I gotta write again. I'm sure that incident was a one off. The food is wonderful, the restaurant is very clean, and the lady working there now, Linda, is amazing. Everything is wonderful, and Linda is a joy to see every time.“
“Pretty Cafe at Yonge and Sheppard. They have a few items thats I really wanted to try. I had the mocha mochi donut and a chewy rice ball(?) With red bean inside. Good place to stop by for a snack. Really pretty inside and has a small seating area. Checking out was fairly quick as well.“
“This location is ideal for studying. My friend and I come here frequently to sit and study. It's a pleasant place to concentrate and work. Unfortunately, it can be noisy at times, but that is to be expected in a public place. I recommend coming here with some money because you will be so tempted to buy something if you just come to study. This is my favourite place to study and drink coffee. Go check it out!“
“I recommend the Truffle Mushroom Cream Fettuccine from this restaurant. It's a great place to sit back and relax, not too noisy, perfect for spending quality time with friends. It's also a good spot for people who want to work on their laptops or play board games.“
“Can I have your attention, Please, I saw testimonies from several people talking about Mrs. Thelma McPeek Welcome and I also decided to contact her and see how she operates, It was so fortunate her service is reliable and trustworthy, Her service is the best I've seen so far in forex trade.“
“I used to be a regular here when i was working in that area. run by two sweet ladies. The chicken sandwich is amazing! they have a variety of salad options and limited lunch menu. Prepared fresh everyday! The cookies and banana bread are delicious. I come to this even though its 40mins from my house whenever possible. they are open for breakfast and lunch only.wish they are open till 7pm so i can come regularly. Ample seating place inside and out available. Clean and neatly maintained place.“
“Delicious and great atmosphere. Visited for the first time yesterday. Restaurant was not too busy, really pleasant vibe and the food was really good and was made really quickly. we didn’t have to wait a while to be served and food came almost immediately. We ordered the falafel platter, sweet potato chestnut pasta and the bolognese pasta. Was very pleased with all the vegan options available. All the vegan options had symbols which made it really easy to read and order.“
