“The independent store has its own patio and the dining area is on the second floor, which is comfortable and quiet. Rice rolls and porridge are both quick-to-eat delicacies and must be eaten while hot to retain their delicious taste.Except for the signature soy sauce king beef intestines, the pork loin intestines are also good. There are a lot of pork loin, not stingy at all, freshly cooked and tender, and taste great! The beef brisket rice rolls are also delicious. The beef brisket is stewed soft and tasty. The slippery rice rolls are soaked in pork belly juice and full of the flavor of childhood.“
“Love the place. Really nice food, clean and the food is amazing. Been there twice with my parents and we are already in love with it. Will be back for sure again. I love the decor. Very inviting and the owners are really nice. The chef is amazing. This is going to be my favourite spot to go and have my morning coffee, and just make it a morning routine, sitting outside on the patio, under a nice umbrella, having my coffee and some Turkish breakfast before I start my day.“
“it’s kinda hard to notice when driving by, but incredibly cute and cozy inside. the hot chocolate was delicious and the latte as well. staff was kind and you can tell they take pride in their work by how clean the space is, and how they put effort into each drink.“
“Such a lovely place in North York. A great vibe. The food was great, the drinks were yummy. I especially loved their Brussels sprouts! You order via QR code, which helps the staff focus on serving the food and drinks quickly.Customer service was well done despite how busy they got.Definitely would come back again.“
“The most welcoming and home feeling cafe on the block! Food is amazingly delicious, tasty and always fresh! But most important Liz and all her staff are exceptional wonderful people, who treat customers with outmost respect, always striving to provide best experience! #bestfood #delicious #greatexperience“
“Great for a quick bite and very friendly service! I tried the Pistachio Mocha for something different and it had a lovely delicate flavour, not overly sweet. Wide selection of drinks. The pastries are delicious. Several options to choose from in addition to amazing sandwiches and many vegetarian options! The very fresh chicken Caesar salad is packaged (dressing in container) so you could take it to go- and had a decent amount of chicken, crispy croutons and cheese. It was about $12 which is a good price. Everything very affordable for level of deliciousness. Support local business for a healthier and better quality lunch than you’d get at fast food place. There are tables which fit four people each, and then a bar with metal stools (no backs on them) sorta accessible just small. No patio. This is at the west end of a busy plaza.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian sandwichesParking: There was snow which had been piled up in the closest spots so nothing accessible very close. The plaza was busy when we were thereWheelchair accessibility: It would be tight to eat at a table inside“
“A very pleasant experience!I've been visiting Loveis for the last few months and each time just gets better and better. The food quality is top notch and you feel like you are eating at home thanks to their professional service. The lady chef is amazing.“
“second location of this lovely cafe does not disappoint! the interior is SO beautiful and tons of seating. love their drink selections, especially the cascara tonic. my go to is just a reg cortado or capp and it’s always perfect. congrats on the second location!“
“The food and presentation was excellent, as seen in the photos. A little pricy, but worth it for a good time with friends. This location was not busy and pretty empty. Dessert takes about 10 min to prepare, only 1 worker was present. Cutlery is self-serve. The desserts were made with high quality ingredients and very yummy. Would definitely go again to try more options on the menu with friends.“
“What in the world took me so long to write this review ... the best food in the city !!! ... and ... how do you top the "best food" ... ??? ... how bout the friendliest service ... FIVE STAR ... go once ... you'll be back ... like me !!!! ... I write this with as much love as you put into your tasty sandwiches and other delights ... Lorne“
“Most delicious and interesting coffee in all of Toronto. I never thought orange toffee latte, black sesame latte or rose yuzu latte could exist and get you addicted to the flavours. Why spend money at tims or starbucks when one can get handcrafted drinks right on yonge and sheppard. highly recommended“
“Recently had the pleasure of meeting with Gino in person at The Great Canadian Bagel at York Lanes. I must say that the whole staff genuinely cares about their customers' needs and satisfaction. They are very friendly and approachable. If you are someone who has dietary restrictions like me due to personal or religious reasons, you should know that this place offers bagels that are halal and Vegan. If you come to YorkU this is a go-to spot at York Lanes!“
“Ordered few times, the drink is very good. The staffs are also nice. However, this is the first time I order for a iced drink and I was shocked because of the volume. I guess it is because the cup is too big? If so, I think it is better to give me a smaller cup for this amount of drink. It would look better!Anyway, the drink is good!“
“COPS, a haven for donut aficionados, offers a delightful array of miniature confections that pack a punch of flavor. With their signature cinnamon and OG varieties, these bite-sized treats promise a symphony of taste in every morsel. But what truly sets COPS apart is their tantalizing weekly specials, which never fail to entice with their innovative flavors and creative twists. From the moment you step into one of their three Toronto locations, the aroma of freshly baked donuts envelops you, guiding your senses to a world of sugary bliss. It's a scent so captivating that you can't help but follow it to its source—a colorful display of donut boxes, each promising a delightful journey for your taste buds. The cinnamon and OG flavors, while classic in their own right, are just the beginning of the adventure that awaits at COPS. It's the weekly specials that truly steal the show, beckoning you back week after week in eager anticipation of the next tantalizing creation. Whether it's a playful twist on a traditional favorite or a bold flavor combination that pushes the boundaries of sweet and savory, each special offering is a testament to the creativity and culinary prowess of the COPS team. However, while the donuts may be the stars of the show, the same cannot be said for the coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee at COPS doesn't quite live up to the standard set by their delectable pastries. It lacks the depth and richness that would complement the indulgent sweetness of the donuts, leaving something to be desired for those seeking a perfect pairing. As a resident of Midtown Toronto, I couldn't be more thrilled about the recent addition of a COPS location on Dufferin. With its convenient location and irresistible treats, I have a feeling that I'll be making more than a few indulgent pit stops on my way through the neighborhood. COPS isn't just a place to satisfy your sweet tooth—it's an experience that keeps you coming back for more, one delectable donut at a time.“
“I recently found this gem in North York, where my friend and I had a wonderful experience for multiple reasons: 1- Their cozy atmosphere and excellent ambiance 2- The versatile menu . 3- friendly and attentive hostess and waitress.I ordered Green Omlette and my friend went for their classic egg and avocado , and both dishes were absolutely delicious and flavorful.Would definitely go back in the future to try their other options.“
“It's a cafe run by a Korean, so it's nice to go there, but the prices are outrageous. The drinks aren't even that delicious. Injeolmi Latte just tastes like milk, and Green Tea Latte doesn’t taste like green tea… ㅠㅠ A friend of mine said this is the most expensive place in North York... I ate here a lot without even knowing it, but I don't think I'd eat or drink anything here other than it's close and convenient. I felt like I was deceived when I visited because of the good reviews from Koreans.“
“Spacious and well designed coffee shop at Yonge and finch. It’s quite accessible and connected to finch subway station. Great spot for a quick lunch.I only tried mocha - did not enjoy it much. Definitely would not order again but I will be back to try brewed coffee and for herbal teas. They do have variety of sandwiches/salads did not try any.Staff is really friendly and welcoming“
“Good service. The pastries taste good. Sitting spaces are limited and most people will hang around for a long time. We went there 11:00 and it’s packed. There is one couple occupying a big table telling others they are expecting more. We ended up sitting at the bar and that’s great. Coffee is standard and nothing special.“
“The Tiramisu Bingso was really delicious. The Ginger lemon tea was also great. The staff was so kind, too. When I asked for more condensed milk, he gave me more right away. It was hard to find because the store was on the second floor, but I will definitely visit again.“
“Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! It was always enjoyable to be able to find durian-flavoured desserts, and this satisfied my craving proficiently. Their gelato is smoother than ice cream but also has a slight crunch for a textured mouthfeel.“
“Delicious crepes and very creative menu. The sweet crepes are sooo good but very very filing. Their presentation was really good too, very quick service as well. Tried Espresso Crepe, Chocolate Crepe and Mushroom Savory Crepes. All pretty good. Coffee was good too: french vanilla oat milk latte.Seating space is limited, best chance of getting seated is right when they open.“
“I have been their customer for almost 9 years and always welcomed with respect. It is not just a cafe, is like a family. It helped me to heal when I was sick just by going there and having tea…..you get positive vibes. May their business be successful always .“
“Excellent customer service. I love the couple who run this small cafe because they’re cheerful and service is always quick. Their hot lunches are especially good value for money — delicious with servings of green salads and fruit! This is my favourite cafe in the area! ?“
“Had their Ultimate Breakfast sandwich combo today. Good value and tasty too. It's a solid choice for a mild sourdough square bun with egg, bacon and sausage sandwich either with 2 sunny side up eggs or two egg patties. Hash brown took a while but was made fresh and was golden brown around the edges. Coffee was served nice and hot too.The real star is the egg on a beef patty. It was delicious, well made and dressed, filling and highly recommended!Service was pretty good but they were understaffed at the time I was there and the seating was well maintained. About 8 tables for 4 and 3 tables for 2 all well spaced out or partitioned. Some parking in the lot out front.“
“I recommend the Truffle Mushroom Cream Fettuccine from this restaurant. It's a great place to sit back and relax, not too noisy, perfect for spending quality time with friends. It's also a good spot for people who want to work on their laptops or play board games.“
“It’s been a really long time since I’ve been here and it’s nice to see the upgrades and healthy food options available. The coffee is quite pricey and is equivalent to what you’d pay at Starbucks but not quite the quality of what you pay at Starbucks. The inside was clean and the staff was absolutely friendly. Sitting at the outside benches brings me back to my childhood where I would bike to Edwards Gardens, reward myself with a popsicle and bike back home. If I come back to this barn cafe, I will try the other non-coffee drink options. Otherwise, if you want an americano coffee, get it somewhere else and bring it with you when you come to EG.“
“I had a fantastic experience here. The atmosphere was cozy, the latte was perfectly made, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I also appreciated the selection of pastries they offered. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee. I highly recommend it!“
“Great cafe just outside Yonge-Sheppard subway station. For those working in the area, perfect spot to pick up your coffee and some snacks.Their almond croissant is absolutely amazing. The staff is very courteous too. I requested the croissant to be slightly heated and she did it perfectly. I requested for an iced coffee that is more on the sweet side, and her recommendation of the iced americano with chocolate was just the right thing I needed on a hot summer day.Well done team Vanta and see you soon“
“This location is ideal for studying. My friend and I come here frequently to sit and study. It's a pleasant place to concentrate and work. Unfortunately, it can be noisy at times, but that is to be expected in a public place. I recommend coming here with some money because you will be so tempted to buy something if you just come to study. This is my favourite place to study and drink coffee. Go check it out!“
“Aroma is a nice place to go where you can escape the somewhat dreary atmosphere of campus. I am always happy to be served by the nightshift team. The girl with funky earrings and red hair is a riot and always makes my friends and I laugh, and the other girls always are friendly too. I have never had an issue with my coffee or tea orders and I am so glad to have this little spot to just relax at. The regular customers all know the staff and it feels like a small town inside such a big city.“
“I went there recently. Sampled a few I thought looked good, but none hit the spot. After 2 samples I was told there was a 3 sample limit and i was torn between Icing on the Cake and Maui Brownie Madness. I sampled the Icing. Terrible. I got the Maui Brownie Madness. Before my tongue could even register what it was eating it recoiled and shriveled up. I wanted to end my life it tasted so bad. All the ingredients felt like the evil version of the original ones. I bring my awful decision into the car where it instantly fell face down on my $900 new upholstery. I tossed my phone aside and in a rage i began cursing left and right. Little did i notice my boss was on the line- i had accidentally answered her call. She fired me on the spot. Jobless and car interior destroyed i went on a drive. But the Maui Brownie did not allow the Madness to stop there. The smell of the evil nuts and evil chocolate overwhelmed my senses and i crashed my car into a bridge. My life is in shambles. But it's not the staffs fault so i give the place 4 stars.“
“The food and salads are very good. The cook is very good and the owner is wonderful. It's a shame that one of the girls who works there is really not qualified to be in customer service, temper wise and discipline wise I mean. According to the sign, they're supposed to be open at 9:00 a.m., and you need to get your coffee and rush to work, but she makes you wait at the door for 10 minutes. and when you ask if the coffee is ready or not, instead of answering she starts yelling: "Wait, OK?"! I told her:" Well, we need to be at work at a certain time, and we count on the hours you put there.". To my surprise, and so unlike the nice owner, she told me: " Don't come here then." Seriously?! The 2 stars I took off rating are only because of this girl. Otherwise I love this place.Ok I gotta write again. I'm sure that incident was a one off. The food is wonderful, the restaurant is very clean, and the lady working there now, Linda, is amazing. Everything is wonderful, and Linda is a joy to see every time.“
“Where do you go at 12:30am for a drink, dessert, study, or a board game? This is the place. Perfect for dates or just hanging out. Was greeted by an old man, but with the kindest personality and professionalism. Felt so comfortable we didn't want to leave. Definitely on the my list of returns.“
“Ordered this for brunch and to say it was good is an understatement!!My Uber was late but despite his lateness my food was absolutely delicious! Fresh flaky buttery croissant dressed perfectly with the right amount of mayo.Lentil soup was delightful! Did not feel heavy or too over seasoned. I was absolutely pleased with my order and satisfied to the fullest.I will definitely be ordering from here again and will be dining in next time.If you’re looking for fresh healthy options don’t overlook this place. It’s better than cafe landwer and eviva. And the teas are fresh and cold pressed. So no added preservatives or other nasty ingredients. The only thing if you do go in, seating is very limited and they do allow “service dogs” in there which can be unpleasant to some especially if they are not trained properly.“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ice 'n Cake, a charming ice cream parlor nestled in the heart of the city, and I must say that it was a truly exceptional experience that left me craving more. This hidden gem is a haven for gelato enthusiasts, offering a diverse and delectable array of flavors that cater to every palate. The star of the show at Ice 'n Cake is undeniably their gelato, which stands out for its impeccable quality and rich, authentic taste. From classic favorites like velvety chocolate and smooth vanilla to innovative creations such as pistachio caramel crunch and honey lavender swirl, the variety of flavors is truly impressive. Each scoop is a symphony of flavors, and it's evident that the artisans behind the counter are masters of their craft. What sets Ice 'n Cake apart is not only the quality of their gelato but also the warm and inviting atmosphere created by their attentive and friendly staff. The employees here are not just serving ice cream; they are crafting an experience for each customer. The genuine enthusiasm and passion they bring to their work are infectious, making the entire visit a joyous occasion.During my visit, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every customer felt welcome and well taken care of. Their willingness to offer generous samples and provide detailed descriptions of each flavor showcased a commitment to customer satisfaction. It's not just about selling ice cream at Ice 'n Cake; it's about creating memorable moments for each person who walks through the door. The ambiance of the place is delightful, with its cozy seating arrangements and charming decor. Whether you're seeking a quiet spot to enjoy your gelato or a vibrant setting to socialize with friends, Ice 'n Cake provides the perfect backdrop for a sweet rendezvous. In conclusion, Ice 'n Cake is a true gem in the world of gelato, offering a palate-pleasing experience that goes beyond the ordinary. The outstanding variety of flavors, coupled with the genuine warmth and kindness of the staff, make this establishment a must-visit for anyone with a penchant for frozen delights. If you're looking for a memorable and delicious ice cream experience, Ice 'n Cake is undoubtedly the place to be.Vegetarian options: The ice cream place is vegan and halal.“
“Great service , great smoothie!! Tried this place for first time. I was surprised to find out they use real honeydew for their smoothies! So got a large order. Very tasty and worth the value considering they use real fruit (and not powder). I will perhaps try their other smoothies in future“
“Real fruit bubble tea has always been a place that I would want at every location. No matter wherever I go, I look for the “Real Fruit Juice” board. Their smoothies are a must try. I always go for the pineapple smoothie with tapioca, where as my family members go for mango/avocado smoothie with chunks and tapioca. If you have not got the chance to try one, you must go today. Don’t forget to try the tapioca for toppings and it’s really addictive. I wish these juices were open at more locations for everyone’s convenience. Thanks to real fruit juice owner/owners ?“
“Visited a café kiosk with genuinely high-quality espresso, yet I was baffled by their insistence that they don't offer espresso, leading to an unnecessary argument. The decision to promote awards from god-knows-where organizations seemed odd to me. My order, an Americano without water (essentially an espresso) and called Sirius, was a workaround I hadn't encountered since my time in Korea, where Americanos are beyond common. Surprisingly, the espresso quality was excellent, deserving of recognition on the menu. A friendly piece of advice to the café: have confidence in your products. There's no need for such hesitancy; your espresso speaks for itself.“
“Okay study spot. Seating area is good but the smell of food is medium strong which might be annoying if you're sitting there to study for long hours. Prices are reasonable and there's quite a variety of everything. Doesn't have too many plugs if you're looking into plugging your laptop. Also the internet is spotty some days. I had trouble with meetings specially.“
“This is a quiet, clean coffee shop with well-trained pleasant staff. I meet my students here regularly and it a perfect place to have a conversation without too much noise and coming and going. Very welcoming and great service. Susan Feb 24“
“My Experience at this Coffee Time was excellent. The customer service was great and the atmosphere was terrific. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, and the drinks are great and refreshing. I let my Family, Friends and Co-workers know about this Coffee Time Location to always come here. Thank you everyone for doing an excellent job and keep up the great work. Take care.Parking: There is lots of Parking.Kid-friendliness: The Kids are treated very well and they enjoy coming back.“
“Great banh mi sandwich here. Please for the love of god just order the banh mi sandwich only they are known for that. You dont walk into kfc and order their burgers they are known for chicken. Order their speciality buns thats it. Dont touch anything else its not known. A+++++“
“Good coffees and lattes; fresh enough baked goods. We did not have them, but enough selections of small sandwiches. Bagels weren't on the menu, but apparently they have them too.I appreciated the fact that they did not ask for tip for takeout items automatically. But I would have happily tipped them. Bayview Village is sometimes very busy but we were able to find a table during Thursday morning at 9am.“
“We ordered the panini, matcha latte, Italian coke and pepperoni pizza all was delicious and we loved the flavor of the panini!!! Fresh, delicious and tasty! The pizza was different but in a good way!!! Really good! We love it! The only thing that I will suggest it was the service being a little but slow with the Cutlery, we had our pizza but not plates, after a few minutes waiting, we have to remember them about it; that doesn’t bother us that much, but Overall rating will be 5 stars, I will come back for sure, that little thing don’t opaque my experience at all because everything was really good!“
