“The independent store has its own patio and the dining area is on the second floor, which is comfortable and quiet. Rice rolls and porridge are both quick-to-eat delicacies and must be eaten while hot to retain their delicious taste.Except for the signature soy sauce king beef intestines, the pork loin intestines are also good. There are a lot of pork loin, not stingy at all, freshly cooked and tender, and taste great! The beef brisket rice rolls are also delicious. The beef brisket is stewed soft and tasty. The slippery rice rolls are soaked in pork belly juice and full of the flavor of childhood.“

“I dined here with my family on weekends. The food and service were very good. The only drawback was that I saw the old manager in a suit putting his feet on the cabinet where tableware and cups were placed to tie his shoelaces. It was very disgusting. I was originally in a happy mood, but my behavior was greatly reduced when I saw this manager.“

“Very good food with relatively low price as compared to other place. They provide not a lot of choice but good enough to serve customers. Especially like their breakfast and their rice combination with 2 meat/fish. One little drawback for steak is that some times, it is so hard to chew and not cooked well enough so that we see blood come out.“

“It’s been almost half a year since I moved to Scarborough and I’ve ordered meals from many nearby restaurants. Either the food is not delicious, the rice is rough and hard to swallow, or the price is expensive and the portions of meat and dishes are very small. It can be said that I have not ordered them before. I've been to a takeaway that I was satisfied with. Today, I ordered an octopus chicken rice from this store for the first time through uber eats. It was so surprising. The rice was smooth, delicate and caramelized. I felt that the store bought good rice. The octopus-flavored chicken tasted good and the portion was very generous. , and also sent a box of fresh vegetables separately. Oh my god, there are too many vegetables. When I cooked by myself, I didn’t cook so many vegetables. Except for the soup that was sent, it was not that thick. Everything else was too much. Well, I can feel that the store owner is a generous and dedicated business person. I have a good impression of this store and give it a 5-star rating! I hope the soup can be made better! Will try other flavors tomorrow.“

“We searched around a little bit in the downtown Toronto Chinatown for dim sum places last night to no avail, and then my wife’s coworkers and friends sent some places further out in the Scarborough and Markham suburbs to check out today. After eating a bit at Ding Tai Fung in Scarborough, not realizing until we were already seated that it wasn’t what most would consider traditional dim sum, we made our way to Markham to try out New Century Restaurant. It did not disappoint. This was a whole other level of dim sum than what we were used to in New York. Even compared to the places in Flushing and Brooklyn, this was markedly better. We tried many of the staples — har gow, beef wrap, shu mai, chicken feet, some sort of tofu skin wrapped thing LOL, and buns with salted yolk egg cream inside — and they were all awesome.I particularly loved my staple trio of har gow, beef wrap, and shui mai. All were massive and much more substantial than anything we’d get in any New York dim sum place. The har gow and shui mai were absolutely LOADED with shrimp. The har gow came with a fifth smaller one with roe on top and folded in a slightly different way for presentational purposes. The beef wrap actually had greens wrapped in with the beef for a nice change in texture and flavor.Overall just a wonderful dim sum here in the Toronto area. Definitely recommended if you ever come by this way!!“

“Our go-to spot for a traditional Chinese style breakfast! An assortment of warm bowls of congee and steamed rice rolls, paired with fried dough sticks (or fried sweet cruller if that's your preference!) hits the spot every time. This is a simple, in & out, no-fuss kind of place. Service is pretty quick and you will have to call a server over to get any assistance, but that's to be expected. It can get very busy with takeout orders & dining in, so I recommend getting here early! They also make a great HK milk tea.“

“❤️Red list❤️Taste: ?????Environment: ?????Price: ?????The two of us ordered two breakfast specials (the price may be wrong, I forgot to take a photo of the menu?)1. Pork liver porridge + fried dough sticks $7.52. Preserved egg and lean meat porridge + beef rice roll $9.993. Hong Kong style milk tea?Pork liver porridge: very delicious! The pork liver is crispy and chewy. The bottom of the porridge has the aroma of pork liver and is not greasy. Brother Bao has been a chef and praised the quality of this porridge. He said that this porridge is a test of the chef's skills. Sure enough, he knows how to order it.?You Tiao: Between the old street fried dough sticks and Anxin You Tiao, delicious Hong Kong-style milk tea: silky and delicious, you need to add sugar yourself?Beef rice rolls: delicious and plentiful. The beef is tender beef that has been marinated. It has a tender texture and you can taste the slight meat fiber. Some restaurants serve battered beef, but I think both are delicious. Personally, I prefer rice rolls + battered beef, because both are soft and go well together.?Preserved egg and lean meat porridge: Because there is pork liver porridge in front, the preserved egg and lean meat porridge seems relatively mediocre. Because the porridge itself has no taste.Pork liver porridge is really delicious ?The taste bud police certified by the world of mouth-diao!“

“How good are these clay pot dishes? It has a lot of steam and good taste. The claypot rice is a bit burnt. If you think Shao Zhong is too scorched, you can ask him to cook more burnt rice. The salt-baked chicken is average. When it was first served, it didn't taste salty at all, but the proprietress was so kind that she immediately took it back and remade it. It can be accepted later. In summary, the price, taste, and service are all very good.“
