The SERVICE 10/10, like such a sweet little business and the owner or worker was just lovely, he was very attentive professional and as I waited in the line, he made sure to greet every customer and looked like some regulars came by. I believe they do have live music on weekends. I had a pleasant experience. Now, it's one of my favorite restaurants in toronto. I will come back for sure. “Best favas around. Great BBQ chicken. Generous portions at great prices. We had their steak in mushroom sauce and 2 sides each for $15.00 each!!! It wasn't a big steak to be sure but, damn, it was very flavourful, tender and cooked to a medium so it wasn't overdone even sitting in the pan.The service was very efficient. It's not full service but what do you expect from a take out place? You order the food and drinks that you want, you sit down, you get some olives bread and butter (butter is too cold to spread) and then promptly you get your meal and your drinks delivered to your table. When you're done you get up and pay. Easy and unpretentious. If you're like me though, you get a whole bunch more food to take home and you surprise your better half with delicious chicken, favas, rice and Parisienne potatoes in well stuffed containers! All for what you'd pay for 1 person at most restaurants.As for what some are saying about the staff being rude? Absolutely NOT. Very pleasant and took the time to explain the ingredients in the dishes. I have been many times and I have never been disappointed with the service. Perhaps just walking in and flooding my nose with the awesome aromas of the food just puts a smile on my face!“
“I was invited for a business lunch to this exceptional restaurant . The interior is warm and luxurious with a hint of subdued elegance. The menu has an excellent selection of fish & seafood prepared in many variations, not to mention fish is flown in from Portugal. The staff are attentive and the maître d as well as hostess provide a refined level of service . I thoroughly enjoyed Grilled filet of Grouper cherry tomato, jalapeño salsa and a Portuguese beer . First of all, the atmosphere is so reminiscing of small neighbourhood cafes in Lisbon, where everyone speaks Portuguese, watched football and have a pleasant conversation with basically every visitor.Secondly, food. “You have to go here ! This may have been some of the freshest, juiciest most flavourful chicken I've ever had. Came here around dinner time with a big appetite and was NOT disappointed. Juan is amazing at what he does. We got one full chicken with the loco sauce ( I'm drooling just thinking about it ) and a half chicken with their chimichurri sauce, potato and rice. Also got the beef and chorizo empanadas. Juan did mention it might be too much food for just two people, but it was sooo good that we demolished the entire thing and left no crumbs. The chicken was a little cold, and they could have used more sauce (I asked for extra sauce), but it was still cooked well. The veggies were really fresh and tasty. There isn’t a lot of seating, so be prepared to take it on the go!I think it's a good spot to grab a bite, so I would give it five stars. You might want to try it if you're in the mood for some tasty chicken and veggies.I will add though, the area is hard to get in and out of due to the Finch traffic, but if you’re willing to brave it, then you’ve got a good chance at enjoying this place the same way that I did.“
