“I will ALWAYS support here! Always for Christmas and gatherings!It's a little rough as it gets crazy in there. You will see staff screaming at each other, but they operate a day family and get the job done. The food is wonderful. Small inside so I wouldn't stick around to eat. It's more of a grab and go place. Price is fair for the quality and quantity you receive. First of all, the atmosphere is so reminiscing of small neighbourhood cafes in Lisbon, where everyone speaks Portuguese, watched football and have a pleasant conversation with basically every visitor.Secondly, food. One of the best places in Toronto in terms of the ratio of the portions’ size, taste and price. “i grew up going there. one of my core childhood memories. their range in food is something i dont see as often. their cooking has never failed me once and even visiting once again after YEARS, Maria DeRosa still remembered us and their food was still beyond good. will always love this place. The gentleman at the front has always talked to his customers and the regulars havent left. its literally like a small community. this restaurant will FOREVER be a gem. i can still taste the chicken, we went there last week. “Fantastic spot with a ton of variety. Very relaxed and the hot food counter is very tasty. The convenience store side of peppers is good as well, though it's on the pricey side given it's more hip vibe compared to a regular corner store. Every now and then I find something new and interesting in the convenient store which is fun.“

“You have to go here ! This may have been some of the freshest, juiciest most flavourful chicken I've ever had. Came here around dinner time with a big appetite and was NOT disappointed. Juan is amazing at what he does. We got one full chicken with the loco sauce ( I'm drooling just thinking about it ) and a half chicken with their chimichurri sauce, potato and rice. Also got the beef and chorizo empanadas. Juan did mention it might be too much food for just two people, but it was sooo good that we demolished the entire thing and left no crumbs.
