“The $1 Oysters on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, featuring Torpedo Bay and Malpeque, led me here. Despite being the cheapest oysters on the menu, they tasted fresh, although some contained traces of dirt or shell pieces. The Crispy Pork Belly melted in our mouths with its umami. Its marshmallow-like tenderness was a refreshing change of pace from the typical crispy texture associated with pork belly. Equally satisfying were the Japa-Burgers, Nome's homemade sliders. The smoky BBQ and garlic mayo sauce were creamy and light, complementing the ribeye's chewier parts. The buns were soft, and I also liked the crunchy garnish on top of the patty. I would recommend making a reservation, as we had to settle for bar seats. Since this is an izakaya/tapas, do be mindful of the prices when ordering.“

We got the dragon roll and torched and pressed miso truffle sushi, vodka pizza, and spicy lumaconi pasta.Dragon roll - crunchy and yummy, definitely I enjoyed chomping on this!! Nice crunch and flavour was great.Vodka pizza - CHEFS KISS WOW I loved this one a lot!! On the oily side but I love me some pesto and the cashew mozzarella was delicious, wish there was more on it. I forgot I was eating vegan cheese tbh. It passed as regular cheese for me (I love cheese). Crust was goodCookie - not displayed but hella big. I don't like the salt on it but other than that, yum! Tastes like a cookie. Reminds me of hs cafeteria mookieee cookies.Spice lumaconi pasta - 2/10 we didn't finish it. It tasted like it was made in ur college dorm with canned tomato sauce. It's giving sustenance...Torched and pressed - the staff was not lying... this melts in yo mouth omg. Actually tasted amazing. I recommend.Staff - so friendly and accommodating!!Atmosphere - so chill and cutesy. Good for catching up w friends here for lunch! I'll be coming back here fs!!“

We had dinner a few weeks ago at Kinka Sushi Bar and the food was amazing! The service from the young lady was great as well (Gigi). We tried various different sushi rolls and other shareable items. Also tried the beef bibimbap. The place was busy for a weekday evening. We also tried some cocktails and the sake cocktail was a hit. Definitely recommend folks to try this restaurant.P.S. “Don't come on a heavy stomach unless you're stretchy pants or willing to treat yourself. The food is tasty and unique pair with its bold flavor. It does get busy fast so arrive early if you have a big party otherwise you'll have to sit at the bar. ( perfect place for a date spot).“

“We chose here as family wanted to try it. We went early, so parking was not a problem. there is green P close by and there is a little on the street. What a treat. Lovely people who made every effort to make the whole evening one of the best. Of course the food was fantastic, but it had a little extra from the staff that put it, in our book, above other restaurants of this callibre. Word of warning, we speculate that this is a very popular local spot with punters , and not a large number of tables, so reserve.“

“We just had a funeral, and ordered some Spanish tortilla for the reception. We were blown away! It tasted just like my mother-in-law’s, and was enjoyed by all. Everyone was asking where it was from, and it was gone within minutes. It sure brought us back to Spanish family gatherings. Their garlic aioli with bread was also delightful. If the rest of their food is as good as this, you are in for a treat. Highly highly recommended!!“

“One of me and my bf’s default date night spots since we live nearby. I recommend the Yuugi Sushi, Udon Peperoncino, Karaage, Tebasaki, and Grilled Oysters. Sesame salmon, their miso soup, and the edamame is good too. My fave cocktail is the Ginza Blue.I wouldn’t recommend the ramen poutine or the mackerel fried rice. Otherwise, good food and great experience!“

“Stopped by for a quick shot…or two after dinner before bed at the Fairmont Royal York, and was pleasantly surprised by being seated quickly at the bar, spoke to a gentleman whom was a little surprised that I was in and out in under 15 minutes. But quality tequila over quantity is definitely an option here. Patron A served, and was served with a smile.Only thing I felt out of place for was the gentleman discussing what seemed like a first date next to me in aspirations about getting into the FBI and how his date would be a stay at home Mom. Kind of felt like I was in the wrong environment or time period for 2024. But the other gentleman beside me was easy to have a brief conversation with, while enjoying watching them make other people’s drinks.“

“Nice, unpretentious place with reasonable prices. The place is connected to the Longo’s, and feels like a half food court/half restaurant, but the prices are below what you’ll pay at any of the big tourist stops near Rogers Centre or Scotiabank Arena. You can buy food from the Longo’s hot bar, or alternatively, order at your seat and it gets delivered to to you. They also have a licensed bar and Starbucks. It’s a great option on a cold day as you can walk to the Scotiabank Arena via the bridge over Maple Leaf Square without stepping aside.“

“Came for the high beau-tea with a friend and had a great experience! Service was very kind and they were very accommodating given the fact that we were quite late to our reservation ? Was surprised by the food being pretty good since most of the high tea offered in Toronto has tasted kind of mid and is very gimicky. I thought the display was cute for the high tea- some of the items I was kind of ehhh about but overall enjoyed it!Vegetarian options: definitely on the tapas menuDietary restrictions: will accommodate allergies for the most partKid-friendliness: could bring a kidWheelchair accessibility: big space w/ elevators“

“Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Had a karaoke session for a couple hours and decided to get something to eat and also wanted to get some alcohol, If anyone read my Mokutan review, this place was the one that my friend entered mistakenly. So this time, I decided it was time to actually give this place a try. The place had little individual booths which made it much more relaxing to chat and eat. I personally am not a fan of cramped spaces where I have to sit and eye what the next table is eating or listen to their conversations so this place was perfect. I had a gin tonic, while my friends had a suntory highball and beer. We didn't expect the food to have such a big portion! Living in Japan I've kind of expected smaller portions for cheaper prices, and then growing up in Toronto, I've learned that though small portions remain the same, the prices can jump up to catch you off-guard. This place had really good portions that were fair for what they charged. I think the egg omelette was good, the pork they used inside was a bit on the fatty side but mixed with the bean sprouts, was quite good. The only thing was it lacked a little flavour, which wasn't a huge deal because the other dishes made up for it. I don't eat intestines so I had the vegetables and glass noodles. The dish itself was nice and flavourful and from what I could tell they don't skimp on the ingredients. There were definitely a lot of intestines in the dish and my friends were very happy. The chicken and cheese we actually ended up ordering two because it was just so good! The cheese pull was unreal, I pulled so high that I hit my hand on the lamp above us at the table. It was definitely the most flavoured dish of the three and the chicken was so tender. They also gave us a side of peppered radish. I have to say that these definitely had a kick to them but they were quite good that we asked for more three times. Overall, a really good place to enjoy some food with friends and also a couple of drinks to help unwind your day or week.“
