“My husband and I went there on Thursday night to grab a quick dinner. The restaurant was packed. The waitress was nice enough to clear up the bar area to fit us in. There were only 2 chefs working but they were very efficient with the order. Our vegan Udon was amazing. The broth was rich and thick and came out steamy hot. I will definitely go back.Vegetarian options: Vegan brothDietary restrictions: Vegan option availableParking: You can park right in front of restaurant“
“The sushi is meticulously crafted by chefs using high-quality ingredients. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and inviting. The staff are warm and welcoming. Even though the wait time is a little bit long, the food quality is well worth the wait.“
“Love the atmosphere, food & service. Very comfortable stay. Would recommend for brunch. Great that they take reservations but I was displeased that they didn’t pick up the phone when I tried calling in to reserve. End up having to wait when I got there. But that was ok as the seater greeter was apologetic & polite about it. We also only waited about 20 mins so all good.“
“I ate here many years ago before it was called this place. I ordered Jidi porridge, imperial concubine chicken, rice rolls, curry beef, etc. Jidi porridge contains pork, tender pork liver and crispy pork kidney. It is large in quantity, delicious and cheap for only 7 dollars for a large bowl. The imperial concubine chicken is the best Cantonese chicken I have eaten in Toronto. The chicken body is ice-cold and fragrant with ginger velvet. What is rare is that you can actually see the layer of jelly in the middle of the chicken skin! Delicious food on earth! The coffee is freshly roasted and very spicy and delicious. The rice rolls are better than all the well-known morning tea shops, the skin is soft and elastic, and it is better than the old street rice rolls. The only ordinary ones are salt and pepper, which is a foreigner's method of coating fried fish with flour. In fact, it tastes pretty good. To sum up, every dish is of a high standard, far superior to Cantonese restaurants such as Queen and Emperor’s Famous Porridge. Thanks to this Cantonese chef in Toronto for imparting his cooking skills.“
“Pork pineapple bun was absolutely delicious. All ingredients were fresh, for the perfect balance of fluffy, sweet, crunchy, and salty.Baked spaghetti was alright (meat to sauce ratio was lacking), flavours were okay.Hong kong milk tea was good.Fantastic service, fast, friendly. One of the ladies was SO nice to me -- even though the pork pineapple bun wasn't offered at the time I went, she spoke with the chef and they made it happen. I'd definitely love to come back and try their other menu items.“
“Nice viet place with good options.I got the laksa for a change which was nice.I normally get the curry beef and the roti which is a large portion!Spring rolls are good.Service is good.Atmosphere is quaint as it seems like you’re in a patio on the inside of the mall. One of our go to Vietnamese places.“
“I LOVE this place. I’ve tried so many pho places and this has become my GO TO, I usually always get the rare meat pho and my friend gets the pho combination and they’re both extremely delicious. The soup broth is really good, the environment looks super cute and CLEAN which is really important to me and they have really nice staff. Make sure to also get a Vietnamese coffee to go it’s very good!“
