Great spot for low key and traditional dim sum. Unlike the typical banquet style dim sum halls, Tak Fu is more reminiscent of a local tea house restaurant. They've been around for decades and their dim sum is quite good. We appreciate that they use pork in dim sum whereas most spots are now using chicken (e.g. in siu mai).Highly recommend getting the baked pastry filled with minced pork. I tried their fried rice noodles, which were absolutely delicious! However, the mushroom meat & rice and the steamed sweet & creamy bun were just average, nothing extraordinary.I also ordered jasmine tea, which was good, but I was a bit surprised to find out it had a $2 charge that wasn’t mentioned beforehand. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated upfront.

The place is quite small, if anyone seen it on IG reels don't be foul of how they described it. It's good but the best. Price for the dim sum is good too.Would visit again in the future
