“The food here is really excellent. A must-try is their chicken tandoori platter. It comes with three different rubs on the most tender and moist chicken. Their butter chicken is excellent along with their noodles. Who knew getting noodles at an Indian place would be so good? The restaurant itself is very basic, but the staff (mostly family, I think) is really excellent. They were warm and very welcoming. I do mostly take out, and always call in instead of using an app. They will match or beat the prices. All in all, this is a great local spot for quality food.“

“I got the freezeland and paneer sandwich (and a Oreo milkshake and ginger chai), everything was above expectation. The size of the sandwich was huge, I was full eating only half and I got a ready meal for lunch tomorrow. I’m surprised more folks haven’t mentioned this, but the quantity is amazing! Finding food items that are Jain friendly, tasty, and that excel in both quality and quantity is extremely rare.

“This is my go-to place for biryani. The best I've had! Light, fluffy and delicately spiced. The food is so good and the staff are so friendly it's like my 2nd home! The gongura biryani (veg or chicken) is probably my favourite, also really like the mughlai chicken biryani.“

“We came as a group of 7 people, after a temple visit late in the evening around 11:30pm. Great fantastic service from the staff especially during the night.

We ordered bajji , parotta with veg kuruma and various dosas. All of them were fantastic, and tasted delicious.
Everyone of us including the kids enjoyed the food!

They are open till 1am which is a positive!!

“Absolutely delicious authentic indian food! You can tell this restaurant gets the best ingredients and puts in the effort in their spices. We went around 6 people, great and convenient location, just 5 min walk from Bloor and Yonge Station. We ordered Samosa Chat, Cheese Nan and Chicken Tikka Masala from the appetizer and had Lababdar and Special Butter Chicken in the main course. I must say, the food was so delicious, I am in love with Chicken Tikka Masala. The service was also nice, Will definitely go again.“

“Honestly, just the best authentic food I’ve had.

The butter chicken is perfect spice, buttery sweet flavour…. Naan bread… so good.

And every time I go in the staff are just super nice, really inviting and generous with portions.

“If you're looking for a quaint indian restaurant with delicious indian food and excellent service, Kadak is the place. Try the Peacock cocktail, served in a delightful cup. We also had the butter chicken, the Aamchi mutton ( goat) and the kale saag paneer. Everything was flavorful, the meats were well seasoned and soft. Dessert was the Gulab Jamoon creme brulee. We requested a gluten free and nut free meal which was prepared for us at no extra cost. Thank you Kadak for a delicious meal.“

“I love getting Indian food takeout from here. The chicken biryani is so good, large size comes with 2 pieces of chicken. Their food choices are not as spicy as other Indian places in GTA, so its great for non Indian palette. They always have boneless butter chicken, boned curry chicken, and a very spicy boned chicken dish, plus 3 different vegetable dishes daily, in addition to lentil & chickpeas. “I’ve been to Biryani Nation a couple of times, and you might think I’m saying this just because I’m South Indian but honestly, that’s not the case. I’ve never taken the time to review any Indian restaurant in Canada until now, and that’s because this place truly deserves it.

Their pulao is outstanding I’ve tried both their veg and non-veg options and I’m in love with both. You can genuinely taste the chef’s passion in every bite; it feels like the food is made with love.
