“Always love the food and service at this location. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. I like that it is more spacious than other locations so I never have to worry about waiting too long for a table. It is my go to spot for authentic and tasty Korean food. Some of my favourites are KamJaTang, JapChae, Bulgogi and LA Kalbi. Next time will try the Korean friend chicken!“
“They are right beside Imagine Cinemas, we had a quick dinner before watching the movies. Overall it was a great experience, the food portions were huge and they tasted authentic. We tried the House Special plate which had pork beef and meat all cooked Vietnamese style with some spring rolls. The meat was tender and the vietnamese sauce for the vermicelli noodles was real good.“
“This restaurant is incredible. What a lovely family owned business. The owners are so generous and so kind. The chicken is also so fresh & delicious. You get so much food for the money, you will not regret it. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in the area, you definitely need to try it!!“
“Pork Bone Soup is a must try with chunks of meat that easily falls off the bone and served on a portable cook top to keep the soup warm, which is perfect for winter. It is said to have lots of health benefits. Large size is good for sharing with 4 or 5 person. They have limited items on their menu but they sell the best tteokbokki I have ever tried. Price is reasonable.“
“I needed a big lunch order for a film crew I was managing and stumbled upon this establishment. They were very accommodating with the huge order and amazing communication throughout! Food was amazing! I highly recommend Pho Tai Bac for food and for service!“
“Great, cozy place with generous portions of delicious Korean food. We tried the dynamite chicken (m), galbi and bulgogi and it came with 4 side dishes. The chicken was our favourite. The service was friendly and patient with us. We will come again!“
“The food here is great - flavourful and spicy (if you want). Mabel was extremely attentive and accommodating, we received outstanding service. She made the experience of dining here very special. The restaurant is lively and the staff are friendly.Ordered a bunch of dishes and each one was delicious. Highly recommend this place for a fun dinner with friends and family.“
“Had a group meal/dinner here a few months ago - totally forgot to write a review - but here it is! Very authentic Japanese feel - AWESOME hot food for a VERY cold night. It was WELL WORTH THE MONEY and VERY YUMMY :D. The staff were super polite and friendly - mutual respect :D We had a great time eating here and thoroughly enjoyed the food to the last bite. Who knew that Udon could taste that good?“
“I must say, Oakwood Hardware is a gem!The vibe and atmosphere are spot on, giving off that welcoming local feel, and let's talk about their crispy cauliflower wings – absolutely delicious! The decor adds to the charm.100% recommended for a delightful dining experience.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower wingsDietary restrictions: GF“
“I’ve gotten takeout 3 times off Uber for dinner and I am someone who enjoys getting takeout.Service:I’m always genuinely surprised by the level of service provided even for takeout. The food seems to be prepared as the orders come because even when ordering a bit ahead of time, I usually arrive just as they are packaging everything and it takes about 5 minutes to get my food. Once I get my takeout, they open their door for me if my hands are occupied EVERY SINGLE TIME.I can’t speak to dine-in service as I’ve never dined in but I wouldn’t hesitate. They come off as very caring and kind people.Food:As hinted above, it seems to be prepped to order because even after I drive home, I’ll usually eat the food after about 30 mins due to other priorities and it is still hot/warm. If you like spicy, medium or extra spicy is really good. I always order the beef noodle soup and it just has incredible flavours especially paired with their spice.Highly recommend for noodle lovers and spice lovers.“
“WOW. JUST WOW. Where do i even begin. 11/10 easily. The food is amazing, so amazing to the point where i feel tears run down my face every time I eat there. The food is ALWAYS fresh and the portion sizes are amazing for the price. You can tell that the food is made with a lot of thought and love. On top of having great food the customer service is extremely good, the employees are extremely friendly and kind. 11/10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND“
“The food was fresh and delicious. They have daily specials. I also had a very good smoothie that was made on the spot, with fresh ingredients and real fruit. The place is spotless, with the space well used, and the attention is very friendly.“
“Came here for a quick dinner. We ordered shrimp wonton with fishball and egg noodle soup and also shrimp wonton with egg noodle lo mein and an order of choy sum.It came pretty fast but, they managed to screw up the order and what we ordered was reversed lol. We told the staff and quickly corrected the order for us.The lo mein has a bit more egg noodles and still has the bowl of wonton soup in the side. Both meals tasted great. The shrimp wontons have large pieces of shrimp not chopped up and tasted yummy with a little red vinegar.Portions are good for price and it was not too busy for sit in or take out orders when we were there (6pm). Staff are friendly and reatuarant is clean. I will be back for a quick bite again soon.“
“Suggest making reservations. Nice setting. Not too loud. Servers came frequently. After we ordered the food arrived quickly. I think the flavour and food quality is better at Pai restaurant in downtown. Mango margherita is their popular drink and it was worth trying! It's a blend of flavours that go together so well! Shrimp chip with dip is a must! Satay chicken was a bit dry. Calamari, chicken wings and the spring rolls were good. Chicken fried rice and chicken pad thai were plain and mediocre. The sticky rice with mango was the best part of dinner! Thai ice cream was ok but not my favourite. You get a small tub so it's good for sharing. A little disappointed with the quality of the food.“
“We frequently come here for soft tofu stew. Here's what I like about it, it has several choices of toppings: with seafood, with dumplings etc. In addition, you can customize level of spice. Another one of our favorites is the pork bone soup. However, there was one time we ordered this at lunch where the broth was not as deeply flavorful. It makes me wonder if that was just a one time inconsistency or the dish has an underlying broth that requires long time to cook Rice is freshly cooked in individual stone pot (for dine in only), which is more special and you can get the crispy rice at the bottom or put some tea in to make a rice soup at the end.“
“Had a good time, service was fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the concept with a hot stone bowel, and u can put your ingredients in. Noodles were very soft and bouncy, and they gave extra noodles for free, too.We also took out the braised chicken, which was very nice, felt like a very home cooked rice meal.“
“i really like this place, the employees are super nice and always come in to check in especially with tea, and even the owner of this restaurant gave us freebies in an event! sending kind and love towards this restaurant, and i really like the food here, it hits “
“Best pho I’ve ever had!!! Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family. The noodles are the perfect texture - not too soft or soggy - and the order comes with a very generous portion of rare beef. Broth was delicious, and just as good as leftover the next day. I will for sure be coming back :) also very much enjoyed the green curry“
“I popped into this spot randomly and was tempted by their pork mooncakes. It was my first time trying them and they were so good! The pastry is flaky, sort of like an egg tart crust and they were generously filled with pork. It was nicely seasoned and tender. I actually ate them at home the day after I bought them. I followed the reheating instructions on the box and they came out perfect.I also got some of their frozen pork wontons to cook at home and they were great too! It reminds me of the ones my mom makes. Not sure if it was the owner, but the lady at the counter was so friendly and welcoming too.I will have to come back and try their baos and shumai!“
“I worked in the Yorkville area a few years ago, that’s when I found this little gem of awesomeness. I was hooked instantly to their homemade curries made daily by just the sweetest group of ladies. Esther Queen of Soups is what you want if you want delicious food fast. *Also…THEIR SAMOSAS ARE THE BEST IN THE CITY!!“
“Very welcoming restaurant, chic vibes with clean interior. Spacious, dimmed lights, I can see it being a spot for a late sophisticated night.Food was not overpowered with spices, but just enough to get you the authentic flavours that I associated with in Indian cuisine.Their Naan was nice and soft, perfect with their curries.Tikka Masala had the right amount of heat, not overpowering and mildly buttery. The chicken was a bit dry but massive chunks.Same with the biryani, the heat creeps up on you and it's amazing how that happens. Nice basmati rice, the dough rim was super soft and fluffy. Chicken was a bit dry but overall delicious dish.I really liked their cauliflower appetizer. The sweet and sour sauce reminded me if your Asian dish, I'm guessing more Hakka flavours, so it does bring me home.Mocktails were very nicely paired. Their virgin mojito is a must!Would love to come back, and also, they open until 6am!!!“
“I'd say the best hotpot place we have tried in terms of overall food quality, service and value. Is it a bit on the pricy side, yes, is it worth it, for sure compared to places like HaiDiLao. Been there many times, will continue going when we craze for hotpot. KEEP IT UP, DO NOT DROP QUALITY.“
“Hello! Sure, I'd be happy to translate the review into English for you:"After finishing shopping at the supermarket, I came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It wasn't mealtime, so there was seating available. The hostess was welcoming and efficient. When I opened the menu, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the clay pot rice was priced between 12-17 $. In this era of soaring prices, it was truly a bargain. I ordered the Four Treasures Rice and after a ten-minute wait, a steaming hot clay pot rice arrived, generously portioned with plenty of meat. It also came with a complimentary soup and a side of vegetables. The flavor took me back to the taste of the old streets of Guangzhou. It was absolutely fantastic."“

“You know it’s good when there’s usually a line up even before closing time.Pros: Tasty stews (can run out pretty fast especially Gamjatang), huge portion, reasonable price (not cutting throat like downtown Korean food) and hardworking cashier lady 5 is solidly for the food.Cons: A bit of waiting time since there’s only 1 cook. Be patient when you choose to eat here during rush hour. Small size homemade kimchi on the side as well - everyone gets a small plate only. Ok for me.Overall I enjoy the food and the self serve aspect of Samgol and the other vendors in World on Yonge’s food court. Would stop by again !“
