“The king size dumplings are super tasty and the kimichi tastes super fresh. Highly recommend in term of the quality of the food and the dumplings are about $1-2 dollars cheaper than the other one. It tastes not as salty than the others nearby but its not as big (that has terrible customer service) that sells the same thing. Update: just went into the store in person to check out the place today. The server who greeted me had NO customer service. After I ordered she kicked me out of the store to stand in the cold for 10 mins to wait for the food...and there was only her and the cook and no other customer in the store. I have also ordered their homemade kimichi as a side and it is such a small bowl but more expensive than the other korean restaurant (theirs small kimichi is $3 bucks) nearby who served similar food....hmmmmmm worth to give it a try but the customer service will keep me from going into the store for a bit. Just order take out its easier“

“You know it’s good when there’s usually a line up even before closing time.Pros: Tasty stews (can run out pretty fast especially Gamjatang), huge portion, reasonable price (not cutting throat like downtown Korean food) and hardworking cashier lady 5 is solidly for the food.Cons: A bit of waiting time since there’s only 1 cook. Be patient when you choose to eat here during rush hour. Small size homemade kimchi on the side as well - everyone gets a small plate only. Ok for me.Overall I enjoy the food and the self serve aspect of Samgol and the other vendors in World on Yonge’s food court. Would stop by again !“

“I went to Cynthia's for dinners with my customers a couple of times in the last few months. This restaurant is a combination of delicious food and high-level service with many waiters traditionally dressed up. Peking duck is very good. Many other dishes are great as well. The prices are reasonable here. This restaurant has been in this location for decades, and its interior is somewhat aged. However, it does not influence my recommendation to visit it.“

“1. Food - good! Came out hot. Green curry chicken, cashew chicken, beef pad see ew were all tasty. We asked for curry dish to be very spicy and I think that was a mistake as it took away from the flavor. One criticism was that the curry was too runny. Maybe we could have asked for it to be made thicker. We prefer that. But food was good. 2. Service - we reserved our table for dinner and the server sat us at the wrong table so she apologetically asked us to move. When we asked for water we had to ask more than once. It was busy at the time but with the spicy food it would have been nice to get it fast. We ordered three dishes. Two came very quickly. We finished them and the third hadn't arrived yet. We had to ask a server for its whereabouts and then he brought it. It was very hot so maybe it just took longer to prepare but I actually think they forgot about it. The service was a 3/5 but the food was good so it balances out. 3. Ambiance - nice interior. Wood panelling. Booths. Very cozy.“

Very fast, tasty and not expensive. ps. You should definitely try fried noodles, chunks of lamb, and barbecue skewers.“

“Here's the pro move - they have the best stir fried noodle dish in the city - Bokkeum Jjampoong - gotta order extra noodles if sharing. We also ordered their Black-bean-sauce rice which comes with a deep fried omelette and a side bowl of their delicious Jjamppong soup.“

“Usually skeptical about highly rated pho places after a bad experience at a famous joint that opened in Etobicoke...you can probably figure that one out. When I saw sweetness in the soup I was thinking I probably won't like it.The other reviews aren't wrong there is a sweetness to the soup. But it works and it's actually very delicious and not overwhelming like the other places.Definitely recommended will try sate and bone marrow next time.“

“Update:The beef brisket + wonton is awesome flavours and beef is moist not tough.Came to try this place out after many reviews and got the traditional shrimp wonton noodle. The wontons are very delicious as well as broth, the noodles on the other hand didn't have much taste. I think next time I will try the beef brisket and shrimp wonton.“

“The best Thai restaurant that I've ever been to. The food is delicious and presented well. Our waiter was super friendly and checked in on us regularly. The place has a modern decor, and the lights in the middle can even become a show. Just make sure you come early or make reservations because it fills up quick.“

“It has been years that I’ve been wanting to come here and finally an opportunity presented itself and I jumped on it. We tried to make a reservation same day, but the available time slots did not agree with our schedule. We rolled the dice and went anyway and were able to get a spot at the counter. The restaurant tables were all occupied, but there were always a few spots open at the counter with a constant flow of patrons. We ordered the oden as an appetizer to share and an udon each. The oden was flavourful, especially the turnip. The udon noodles had the perfect spring to them. The broths were very tasty and matched the toppings nicely.“

“A lot of mediocre sushi restaurants where we order sushi party trays have California rolls in 5 different ways which is so frustrating when it comes to trying to get the whole sushi taste experience. However sushi LoLo on the other hand has so many varieties of sushi when you order their patty tray. It makes me so happy that they give so much thought to putting their menu and how tasty their sushis are and for an affordable price. I always pick sushi LoLo!!!“

“This restaurant is hands-down my comfort restaurant. Everything in here is immaculate and scrumptiously delicious, and the menu items are all affordable, not over-priced (like most things are these days), but yet they are not cheap enough for you to doubt their legitimacy. The shop is cozy and clean, with wonderful decorations all over the shop. The staff are also welcoming and friendly, thus all in all, this place is a 10/10!“

“I’ve gotten takeout 3 times off Uber for dinner and I am someone who enjoys getting takeout.Service:I’m always genuinely surprised by the level of service provided even for takeout. The food seems to be prepared as the orders come because even when ordering a bit ahead of time, I usually arrive just as they are packaging everything and it takes about 5 minutes to get my food. Once I get my takeout, they open their door for me if my hands are occupied EVERY SINGLE TIME.I can’t speak to dine-in service as I’ve never dined in but I wouldn’t hesitate. They come off as very caring and kind people.Food:As hinted above, it seems to be prepped to order because even after I drive home, I’ll usually eat the food after about 30 mins due to other priorities and it is still hot/warm. If you like spicy, medium or extra spicy is really good. I always order the beef noodle soup and it just has incredible flavours especially paired with their spice.Highly recommend for noodle lovers and spice lovers.“

“Seemed to be a family style restaurant. Tried the braised beef noodle which the noodles are supposed to be hand made but not as chewy as I like. Braised beef slices were made from boneless shank meat and quite tender. Bowl is quite big and portions decent for its price. We got the leek, shrimp and pork dumplings and chose pan fried instead of steamed or boiled. The dumplings wraps were more chewy and pan fried nicely.“

“I went to Poong Moon with my elderly Korean parents recently. Initially I wasn’t sure whether we made a right choice given how it looked more like a pub/bar instead of a Korean-Chinese restaurant. But don’t look that fool you. The food was outstanding. My parents and I enjoyed it very much. The service was also great as well even though they were really busy. It’s too bad that we live in Montreal otherwise we would be here a lot more often.“

“Next to our school in Oxford, I come here to eat every day. My favorites are tomato rice noodles, stir-fried yellow beef and wolf-toothed potatoes. The tomato soup is very rich and the beef is very tender. I really want to eat the wolf-toothed potatoes once.“

“We stopped here for a warm meal after a day of skiing because it was the only thing we could find on Google that was open late enough and wow - what a pleasant surprise. We had the classic beef with thin round noodle and the Dan Dan with flat wide noodles. Both were absolutely delicious but the flat wide noodles were especially good - we didn’t realize when ordering that they were hand pulled. The bill came to around $30 for two of us with very generous portions. Also, we sat at a table near the boss who greeted us very warmly and told us all about what the restaurant is best known for. “Really good HK noodle restaurant that seems authentic and uses fresh ingredients. Portion sizes are large and prices are reasonable, with a good menu selection. They also offer frozen dim sum and fried fish skins for sale. The restaurant a bit small, so expect to wait during busy times. The waitresses speak Cantonese. They only take cash or debit. I will return to try more of the menu.“

“This place is like a 3.5/5 stars.Located in the plaza where Day & Night Angus Steakhouse used to be, the resto is moderately sized. The plaza it sits in has quite a lot of parking so that shouldn't be an issue.My gf and I arrived on a thurs night w/ no reservation at around 7:10pm and were seated within 10 min on the patio (which is massive btw).We ordered only 2 items as we expected huge portions (having eaten at BKK Thai a month ago).Beef pad thai: Good flavour, nice tang. Not in the same league as the pad thai at Chiang Rai. Some of the noodles were slightly overcooked imo. But the authenticity was there.Chicken khao soi: The 'mild' spice lvl was actually tolerable for my gf for once LOL. The chicken was moist and cooked so well. The broth was layered out the wazoo.I was expecting quality commensurate w/ Pai downtown. After all, the owners of Pai were the ones who opened this place! I've gotta say, it doesn't quite meet the same bar that Pai has set.Maybe it's the inflated pricing and the smaller than normal portions? This place is good in terms of authenticity but quite honestly, it doesn't stack up to BKK Thai, Isaan Der, Chiang Rai or dare I say, even JATUJAK in terms of value. I will say the khao soi broth did have the same flavour as the one at Pai though, so that's a huge plus. And they also had some really interesting cocktails that looked tempting.“

“Small place located in commercial building but there are signs located outside @ parking lot about the restaurant. We had beef noodles, pork stir fried with black fungus, dumplings, pop chicken & sesame noodles. Portions are pretty decent, tasty & reasonably priced. One lady served at this restaurant but she's attentive. We will definitely return to this restaurant again to try other dishes.“

“Water sashimi!!!!!!!! This is the only raw fish dish you can taste in Toronto. Please don't get rid of the raw fish menu and keep selling it. When I was pregnant, the thing I wanted to eat the most was raw fish, but I couldn't eat it, so it remained in my heart. It's so nice to be able to eat raw fish that tastes as similar to Korean as possible. It was worth driving for an hour. They said it's for one person, but it's so big that even two people would be full. I think I'll go there often whenever I think of it.“

“The milk tea is average, the frozen mandarin duck is better, the noodles are ok, and the Thai-style Hainanese chicken rice - the chicken tastes good and a little slippery, but the chicken rice is loose. “Best authentic and delicious pho. They dont skimp on any of the ingredients. Great seating area. The parking in this plaza is very hard to get a spot. The food here is good. I would highly recomend. The number 1 dish to try is the main pho it comes out within minutes and very tasty. I go here when i can.“

“We finished our meal before closing time, and the waitress was so nice! I have rarely encountered such a warm and friendly service industry worker in Toronto. It really makes people feel like they are in the spring breeze, and I can feel that she is serious and responsible for her work. She really takes care of her customers' needs and is not impatient at all. Such a person will definitely be the most impressive in any industry! When we left, I said Happy New Year to her, and she bent down and rummaged through the cabinet for a long time, and found an Alpine for me and gave it to me? It was so touching!
