“The food tasted great and had many Taiwanese options. The price is a bit expensive for some items but still affordable. The popcorn chicken was great and the noodles were delicious. The dessert was more than enough for everybody to share and also came with dry ice. It was a nice experience and the servers were friendly.“

“After hearing many great things about their Beef Noodle Soup over the years, I finally had the chance to visit Mei Nung Beef Noodle House!I was quite impressed with the quality and portion of the Noodle soup! The noodles are handmade which shows with the perfect al dente bite with their broth. The broth has lots of umami flavour and it pairs well with the tender beef brisket that's been braised for hours. The service was quick and efficient which was nice since I was looking for a quick meal to enjoy their legendary Beef Noodle Soup!“

“My go-to spot for Taiwanese desserts! They offer both hot and cold options for their desserts and a very wide variety of desserts—so there’s definitely an option for everyone.Service is quite quick for cold desserts, while warm desserts may take a bit more time as they heat them up.Over the years this location has changed quite a bit. They used to have the ground floor (now Hazukido) and their taro paste used to be like a really thick mashed taro vs. now it’s a very runny paste. Their desserts still haven’t changed though, still delicious and nice sharables!Vegetarian options: Almost all the desserts are vegetarian-friendly!“

“Meant to go somewhere else but we stumbled on this place by accident. I’m glad we did, this is a gem. Price is reasonable, food is great, although it’s difficult to order if you’re clueless like us. Their menu has no photo so we had to order by photos from Google and try to guess the dish, even then we ordered the wrong dish.My recommendation is to use the photos from Google and ask them exactly which dish is in the photo.Would definitely comeback now that we know how to order.“

“This small family-owned business located inside King-Square shopping mall on Woodbine. They serve delicious homemade Chinese food (fast food )with generously sized portions of hot and fresh ingredients. The prices are excellent with friendly and superb service. Self served, a limited seating area with a few chairs and small tables, mainly offer takeout.“
“For $2.75, this is probably the best deal in the city for bubble tea! My photo isn't the best as I already drank a little but the flavor for the milk tea is good and the tapioca was soft. I really enjoyed this drink and will definitely come back and try other drinks and food!“

“Dishes were all very flavorful. We ordered the green tea noodles with beef shanks. Beef shanks were tender and noodles were perfectly textured. We also ordered the set meal with pork belly and stewed eggs. Pork belly melted in my mouth and was in a rich and savory sauce that paired perfectly with white rice. The stewed egg was silkly smooth and flavorable. Their teas are perfectly infused. Quality of food exceeded my expectation of a casual restaurant.“

“The best Taiwanese food in Toronto!! Whenever we miss Taiwanese food, we definitely will go there. Highly recommended to their popcorn fired chicken bento 鹹酥雞便當!They do offer different types of main dish, one bento will come with three other dishes which you can see and choose from there.Their bento pricing is super affordable and competitive. Please give it a shot if you haven’t tried it.“

“I dropped by for some dessert after having dinner at another restaurant near by. There wasn't anyone else waiting, but the employee we spoke to said there would be a small wait and told me to enter my information in the system to join the waitlist. We were seated a minute after. This Taiwanese fusion restaurant has a nice ambiance, and an extensive menu with beautiful pictures to help you choose from the wide selection of food and drink items. While they provide physical menus, you're required to place your order through your phone by scanning a QR code that's associated with your table.I ordered the Strawberry Special Golden Toast, and the Four Seasons Green Tea Creama with 50% sugar. Both items tasted good. My only complaint is that the toast might have been over-baked because the crust was pretty hard and took a lot of effort to cut into.“

“A nice restaurant with authentic cuisine, each dish is beautifully presented. The atmosphere is also very elegant. We were not able to finish our meal so that we meant to take out, and all staff were friendly to give us some packing boxes, next time I would like to visit this restaurant again.“

“I got the chicken thigh bento. Rice was very dry and bland, it included raw cucumber and radish/carrot that I don't feel like it's pickled enough. The chicken thigh was very good though!I don't recommend the bento for the price ($16). Portion is not enough and I was still hungry afterwards. The standalone chicken may be a better choice.“

“Consistently excellent tasting and cheap meals. Their porkchop on rice is the must eat dish here! There is always a line up but the wait to get served is not that long. Their meals comes with rice, veges, egg, and your choice of meat. Most people get the porkchop but their other dishes are good too! And the bonus is that this place is located in a food court so there is no need to tip!“

“The dishes are unique, the ingredients are high-quality, the portions are small, and the prices are reasonable. The roasted milk tea is good. The environment is more unique than ordinary hotels. No vacations at all, great service spirit. Highly recommended.“

“I've ordered from this place mostly on UberEats, but we have done take out a couple times. Their food is tasty. I like their seasoned fries a lot, and their chicken has a nice balance of savoury and sweet, good coating and very crispy. I usually flip between the Lazzy chicken and the Mexican Wings, while my cousin usually gets the King combo or seaweed flavoured chicken. If they had more options for chicken and seasoning (they only have about 6 in different forms), along with more drink variety (5 bottled/canned choices or one of their 4 special drinks), I'm sure we would choose them more than Hot Star up the road which is even less consistent. Despite that, the actual reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that their fries can be a bit undercooked/soggy half of the time, and that is what I look forward to the most.“

“Finally came around to trying this place on a saturday evening. The parking lot was absolutely stuffed and I had to circle at least 10 times before lucking out w/ a spot. The resto itself is big and fits a lot of customers. We were sat right next to the entrance (which was chilly at first because of the entrance opening and closing constantly, but once we started eating and sweating, the wind actually helped out a bit). The service is pretty no frills. You write your order on a paper and a server will just take it.The dumplings were good! I think I actually liked the pan fried/crispy dumplings over the boiled ones more (if I had to pick). They were juicier. This place also does an excellent beef pancake. I've been to so many places where the pancake is stale and the beef tough, but this place nailed it (perfect amount of hoisin sauce inside too).If I'm craving dumplings, I'll be back here for sure!P.S. The beef noodle soup from the menu picture is calling out to me. I might try that next time.“

“Rather the traditional style of hot pot, this style has the ingredients all in the hot served over a little flame to keep the pot simmering. I like the traditional presentation and the Thai style pot was my favourite.Once seated, you actually order through your phone and during certain times bubble tea could be $1 or $3 with the purchase of a pot. Cash gets 5% discount but they auto grat a service charge regardless of your party size (mine was 4). Very minimal interaction with staff.“

“Lunch on a Monday, it wasn't busy so we didn't wait for long, we had daily specials at $16.50 each, including tea (choice of hot or cold), and we upgraded the tea with boba and jelly, environment was clean, staff were polite and professional, I had a great dining experience, and my daughter thought that her veggies and tea egg were a bit too sweet, we were planning to go there for dessert next time.“

“Surprised at the mediocre rating at this location. Came in not expecting much as the store is pretty small.Food was fine, nothing insane but filling and good value. The highlight is absolutely the service. Our server was professional, patient, and fast. Offered us more sauce for our rice, packed our leftovers for us, and was more than willing to split our bill between our large party. He promptly refilled our water jugs and took away plates without having to call him over. I've rarely felt so comfortable asking for favors.Fantastic service, would recommend if you want a place to feel comfortable and have a satisfying meal.Parking: Busy part of North York, parking is available in certain areas but they're often packed during dinner rush.“

“Love everything on their menu. From taro ball and tofu almond dessert to their jasmine milk green bubble tea. I frequent both this and the midland location a lot.(sadly the midland one closed down) The atmosphere is great service impeccable. Note: their dessert is available hot or cold. A hot bowl of tofu dessert is perfect for frigid winter days.“

“I'm not too much of a soup person but I decided to try some tonight just because it's a special occasion. I like papayas so I thought why not try it in the form of a soup. I've got to say, it was really good, once I put a spoonful into my mouth, I didn't stop until it was finished. Be careful what time you arrive as the weekends are usually very busy and as a result the wait time to get orders taken down may waiver as a result. This is a lovely location with aesthetic decor and booths/chairs to boot. The reason why it's not 5* is that it's a bit too sweet for my own liking, and I understand the name of the restaurant, but I feel like this soup could do with less. Sometimes less is more right?“

“No seating area. Very small shop. Service is quick. The bubble tea tasted the same as other coco fresh locations.Always getting their taro slush with coconut jelly instead of bobbaaaParking: Shop is located outside plaza. Plenty of parking as there are other bubble tea shops and sushi places next door.“
