“A phenomenal meal that l will go down as one of the best I have ever had. We were there to celebrate a special occasion and couldn't have asked for anything better. We were there for almost 2 hours, but service was wonderful and attentive throughout and the dishes in the tasting menu were all so unique and special. We arrived shortly after they opened on a weekday evening and the restaurant was pretty quiet. Because of that, Chef Liu came out and served us a bonus dish that ended up being our favourite of the night. Definitely made our experience a memorable one.“
“It was one of my best find in Markham till now. Banbudian Bistro specializes in authentic Sicuan cuisines. We have ordered stir-fried chicken with Sichuan chili. It is definitely a must try. Also, the fried rice with crab egg was amazing. It is a beautiful restaurant well taken care of and definitely should be on your checklist.“
“great service, Jason is super friendly and attentive. he explains the menu and give us some recommendations. “way much better ◡̈ ”the food is good, i pick the chicken broth base soup and beef skewers. Highly recommend to order the dessert Fu’s Jelly with Brown sugar Sauce.i will come back next time.“
“We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes. Each dish comes with bubble tea or soup (both delicious). My husband loved his dish (lemon grass pork Chop), i ordered red wine beef stew, and it was good, but be aware it is served boiling hot, and it has a LOT of pepper. I found it fine, but my husbands dish was flavorful whilst I didn't finish mine because it was too much pepper.“
“Wow Yelpers what's going on? This place has been here for at more than a year there's only two reviews. The latest addition to the big trouble, and midnight market bar portfolio. If you want a bar that has free games to play such as basketball and foosball. They have other games like street fighter, pong, mortal kombat and puzzle bubble. Thursday Friday and Saturday it turns into a mini club with a decent dance floor and amazing music. The cocktails are well crafted and the food is pretty interesting. If you want a lively and young crowd that's the best time to go. The staff provides excellent service to cater your needs.“
“This place is a cute little spot with good food! I got the Bulgogi club sandwich. They also have a self serve coffee section. The owners are very kind. They make you feel right at home. I’m glad places like this are still around in the neighbourhood. Will be back soon! ☺️“
“Mar. 2024 Yeah Yeah Thai is a medium sized store with some tables and seating, if it gets busy, I can see having to wait for some time. It's decor is bright and hip with fun neon signs behind the order counter and the place makes the most of its windows letting natural light in. This is a great place for a lunch/brunch with its fusion in HK Style food and thai cuisine. The staff is accommodating and if its not on the menu/combo, they can usually still make it happen. Would totally come again to try all the different Combo options! Order: - Make It a Combo! - Rice Combo (substituted for the Cheese Baked Rice) - J01 Thai Iced Milk Red Tea - L03 Baked Cheese with Thai Green Curry with Pork - T08 Deep Fried Coconut Lava (with lots of condensed milk) I highly recommend getting the "make-it-a-combo" option (for an extra $5.99) for your meal, you get a choice of mini hot pot, noodle, rice, sizzling plate, or stir-fried as the entree (base price) from essentially the whole menu (just ask if it isn't). PLUS! A dessert item and drink. They did run out of the Thai Iced Milk Green Tea (probably cause it's popular), but settling for the Red Tea was good. It was on the sweeter and milky-er side of Thai Iced Teas and enjoyable. The staff was able to combo the Cheese Bake without a fuss and it was exactly as described, HK style cheese fried rice casserole but instead of fried rice, it is Green Thai Chili, with your choice of extra protein/veggie. The flavours didn't clash at all! I will be trying this at home in the future with any thai leftovers (aka. just add cheese, a protein, and bake it). The Coconut Lava snack/dessert was crispy and hot, basically like little fried Chinese donuts (you tiao), in Timbits style, stuffed with a custard-ly/creamy filling covered in large sugar crystals with condensed milk as a dip.“
“I literally found this place randomly and now its my fav ramen spot everr! Ive tried some others like Crafty ramen, Kenzo and Kinton but still came back for this place bruh ?. Like literally the staff is super friendly and serve us with joy even though i don give tips sometimes ? ? the price is mostly the cheapest ive known, like about $15 per person without tips. The chicken karaage is juicy and crispy 10/10. The gyoza ive tried cuz my bf ate all of it ? but it looks nice and crisp. The ramen? gorgouse, the broth taste like real bone broth and not just sauce package.Would very suggest this place guysss!! I don have pictures rn but will update when i go visit again!!“
“Such a cute place to sit with a group of friends or on a date! They have mirrors and Tibetan art everywhere. There's a lot of space, with a lower sitting area by the bar in the back.Their momos, egg drop soup, and fried rice is amazing !! My personal favorite was the steamed chicken momos but I will definitely order the chili momos again next time because the sauce was delicious.Their prices are great for the amount and quality of the food (eg. 10 momos per order, large plate of fried rice to share between 2 people). The service was also great, the whole team was attentive and friendly.I'll definitely be coming again!“
“I've went in to this restaurant with my classmates and the whole experience was wonderful!!!!! The owners are so friendly and caring. We had a lot of chit-chat together. The atmosphere is so cozy and feels like home. The food are also delicious and now I've tried a new cuisine, Tibetan cuisine. I will go there again for sure. I might even recommend this to my family. Also, I wanna thank the owner for giving us such great, delicious food!!!!!“
“This place serves halal chicken Momo. What a delight to have discovered this gem. This is their second location first one is in yorkville. The owner is an amazing guy from Nepal and sat down with me and shared the beautiful history and journey of momo and Nepal tradition. Best chili momos to warm you up. My favourite is the chili momo every though I have had almost all the ones they serve.“
“Incredibly accommodating, food was fresh and deliciousMy partner and I went to Soya yesterday at around 5PM. The place was empty as it wasn’t dinner time yet. We originally ordered two soyalicious sets ($29.50), but then after placing our order decided that it might’ve been too much food. So I spoke to the waitress and she removed the second set. However, when the appetiser came, we realised she removed the wrong set, which I notified her and she corrected the main and our drink.Fried mushroom- 10/10The fried mushrooms were absolutely delicious, freshly deep fried and the batter was thin. It wasn’t pictured because we were starving, and the portion was large for an appetiser.Butter Black Pepper Chicken and Rice- 10/10Absolutely delicious as well- the sauce was amazing, only wished that there were more rice (there were large pieces of chicken inside the rice) but it was incredibly flavourful.Coco Iced Tea- 8/10Incredibly refreshing, only wished it was less sweet but I presume you can ask for adjustments.Egg Tart- 6/10Came out extremely hot, but was a little too oily for us. The filling was delicious.“
“The food was good but the server was a little vague about portion sizes when we asked if we could share one she lightly pushed us to get two main instead of a main and appetizer and we ended up getting two mains but one would have been enough. Then when I got one tea which came in a teapot she refused to give another cup because I wasn’t allowed to share as it was for one, which made no sense to me as it’s my tea I should be allowed to do what I want with it as I’ll be paying for it.“
“A must try restaurant of Asian Fusion food that would drive you crazy by the delicious taste of the food here. They serve great Hong Kong style westernized food, and with some other Asian signature dishes. My favorite are the Hainan chicken on rice, Curry fish head vermicelli and sometimes they serve Nasi Lemak (an signature Malaysian's dish that served with coconut rice and curry chicken) which is really tasty!!!!! They also have a rotating list of lunch specials, with the Steak always on it, and for only $12.00 for a combo including soup of the day and drink, it's a great deal.“
“Came here for dinner and the spot is super cute! There’s a small space in the front and more tables in the back. Great place for friends or a date.I believe there is a bar downstairs but we didn’t have time to check it out.The menu had a decent variety of options and our server was super friendly and outgoing. The drinks were tasty and the food was good but I felt it was a bit expensive for the portions you got. The food was definitely a more elegant take on Asian cuisine and it was tasty. Definitely not a bad place to come for a date but if you’re craving Asian food I’d recommend just going to an actual Asian restaurant.“
“One of my fav Korean Grill establishments. Service and food were top notch. Everything we ordered we enjoyed and came out fairly quickly. We tried a variety of everything, I highly recommend the crab sushi, garlic beef and beef ribs. Only downfall is that they don't accept credit, they only accept cash or debit.“
“@Noaman AbdullaFor the review by Noaman AbdullaI was actually a customer and friend of the workersYou harassed a young female worker because you didn’t want pay service charge (tip) dine in ($1.80)I called you cheap and you got angry and cussed at meI simply matched the same energy and you didn’t …I told you I don’t even work there, your such a liar lol go cook at home and serve yourself“
“The food was amazing. Price is good the taste. Service is ok. I told the waiter to add an extra bao for to go instead the order came all 3 together. Server said he is going to make sure another one will be ready for to go but then they didn't give & I didn't ask for it. But the food was so good. Specially wagoo beef was so good.“
