“What an experience! The restaurant was very accommodating to our needs since we had a newborn with us. They tucked us away in a corner so at least that way we could get some feedings in for babe when necessary.

We initially wanted to try the tasting menu, however, baby was uncooperative and we wouldn’t have paid attention. Our server was very understanding and they charged us a portion of the dishes from the tasting menu that came out. We enjoyed all the pictured dishes and had zero complaints.

Finally, before tonight’s dinner, the restaurant called us and told us our original booking had to be cancelled since someone booked the entire restaurant. They made it up to us by offering the free Thai basil ice cream, which was much better than whatever ice cream joints Ossington had!

Overall, fantastic night - good vibes with baby - and great food. Highly recommend this place.“

“The smoked chicken wings are absolutely to die for! + the dill sauce !! chefs kiss! Huge high quality wings with amazing flavour, you can’t go wrong! I’m not going to bother trying wings anywhere else in the area because their wings are the champion!
The smoked brisket plate, however, was just lacking in abundance. Taste and quality of the brisket 10/10, but instead of the bread, lettuce, and pickles it would have been nice for it to be more of an authentic bbq plate with baked beans /coleslaw or corn bread + a side (something in that nature). I travel to texas a lot so my expectations might just be too high for authentic bbq. I thought they accidentally brought me the brisket sandwich plate deconstructed instead of it being the “brisket platter”.
Will for sure be going back for wings and apps, I regret not trying the nachos. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive and the vibe is excellent!“

This was my first time going to Smoque n' Bones - and it did not disappoint. And the smell of meat smoking on the patio will give you a ravenous appetite. Such tender, flavourful meat. Wow! But I gotta say - my server, Lupita, elevated my experience! Without her kindness and attentiveness, it would've been just decent food on a plate. My parents and their siblings ate here when they immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong. Classic HKBBQ, exactly how it should be, plain and simple. Their Char Siu (bbq pork) and Siu Yuk (roast pork) are essential and good. We’ve bought it in huge platters for parties and it’s well loved. I do like their roast duck and soy chicken as well but I’d say they aren’t as good as the porks. I usually get these on a bowl of rice noodles with soup. Can’t get any better than that. “My friend had a big family reunion last night with over 50 people coming in from all over GTA and beyond to King West. Her 500 sq ft condo wasn’t going to hold everyone, so she booked her beautiful condo party room.

So… what to serve? Well… queue SmoQue N’ Bones. She ordered over $1700 worth of food. And it was supposed to be ready for pick up at 4 pm. They were ready with all the perfectly packed containers by 4:05 pm. They apologized for being late (which of course they were not!) and provided us with lots of accompanying sauces and dips. The food was so tasty! Loved the slider, ribs, corn bread, corn, sweet butter, wings…. Incredible!

I walk by here all the time and haven’t once gone in to try the food. After this experience, I would definitely order from them for a party but also will consider it an option next time we are wondering where to go for dinner.“

“yesterday i visited this new arabic restaurant on the danforth with my family to celebrate my younger sister’s birthday, and i can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. there were six of us, and we were all in the mood for some delicious arab food. we decided to give this new spot a try for lunch in the afternoon, and it completely exceeded our expectations.

from the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly by the owner and her daughter. their kindness and genuine hospitality immediately made us feel at home. the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and you could tell right away that they truly care about their guests. throughout our meal, the service was excellent!! they checked in on us often, made sure everything was perfect, and even as the restaurant got busy, they gave everyone equal attention.

now, the food.. WOW.. absolutely incredible. everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love and attention to detail. the menu has something for everyone, which i really appreciate. if you’re very hungry, they have hearty plates like the mixed grill. but if you want something lighter, there are plenty of options like the mana’ish. it’s nice that you can find both full meals and light bites, depending on what you’re in the mood for.

our table ordered a variety of dishes so we could try a bit of everything. one of us got the mixed grill plate, which came with skewers of different meats and the option to have half rice and half fries which was such a thoughtful touch for people indecisive such as myself. my husband ordered the mana’ish, half za’atar and half five cheese, and it was honestly incredible! and, of course, because i was out with my family, i took a bite of everyone’s food (lol). every single dish was a hit ❤️ hot, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. even the sides.. the fries were literally cooked to perfection and im still thinking about them haha

the drink selection was great too, offering a range from pop and juices to tea and coffee. there’s something for every taste.

since it was my sister’s birthday, we brought a cake and asked if they could bring it out for us at the end of the meal. they went above and beyond. they played the happy birthday song through the speakers, helped us light the candles, and brought it out so nicely. it turned into such a joyful and memorable moment 🥹 everyone in the restaurant smiled, and even a few people joined in singing. the whole atmosphere was full of warmth and happiness.

it ended up being such a wonderful afternoon. the food, the service, the friendliness, and the overall feeling of the place made it so special.

i truly can’t recommend this restaurant enough. if you’re in the danforth area, or even just passing through, please give this place a try. it’s perfect for family lunches, gatherings with friends, or even a quick bite to eat. i’ll definitely be going back many times because i already can’t wait to try more of their menu. everything is made fresh, served with care, and you can genuinely taste the love in every bite.

“Burgers are tasty! We have tried The Backyard Burger and Pulled Beef Sandwich with fries and curly fries. Burgers were juicy and great combinations with Sautéed Mushrooms and creamy sauce. A lot of fillings inside, so some parts were falling out when biting. Curly fries got stuck to each other but still had a crunchy texture and not too oily.“

I don’t recommend:
- beef top sirloin not worth ordering even if the price at 8.99 for 10 pieces
- preserved egg
- garlic eggplant

Also our 10 pcs of sirloin skewers arrived cold

The decor is nice, might be good for a group gathering
