“Just left this Place. Best Pistacchio Canoli I ever had. Flavourful and a beautiful crunch on the shell. Made on the spot. Also had Pistacchio Cornetto (Croissant) to die for. Last but not least Pistacchio Gelato and Sweet Onion & Goat cheese Gelato. Both Superb. This is a must place to visit.“
“Just visited this place yesterday and we could smell yumminess outside. We tried their Big Bang Waffle with Dulce De Leche and my sister had it with the Burnt Toffee… it was wow! Try them out! So worth it! And their staff are nice also! ☺️“
“Visited on a cool Spring evening. It wasn't busy so staff were patient with us as we tried the different ice cream offerings. The milk + honey was surprisingly delicious and my favourite. Marcha Oreo was a close second! The store area has local goods (chachalate, hot sauce, frozen goods, pianopiano). Will be back to try the sandwiches. The sailor moon art is toughhhh“
“Very impressed by the friendly welcome and totally delicious Gelato! Fresh, intense beautiful homemade flavours. They make special effort to pay attention to allergies, and even offer special sugar-free options for people who rarely get to enjoy sweet treats. It was very hard to choose a flavour, so we'll have to come back many times!“
“Very flavourful! We had strawberry mango and banana mango. Both were good. You get to add two toppings at the end. You can also add whipped cream and sauces. They were really busy but the wait time was very reasonable. Staff gave quick and professional service.“
“Not going to lie, Honeys was the clincher that convinced me to finally make the move to Toronto. I have dairy and egg allergies and their ice cream is actually ice cream consistency. The gluten-free waffle cones are also amazing and I really can’t say enough great things about them. Hard to stay on budget when they’re so close by but it’s worth it.Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegan, they have gluten free waffle cones and use separate scoops for their gluten free flavours.“
“Great interior, good vibes and amazing ice-cream! After taking my family down and was Kayla patient and kind enough for everyone to get to pick a flavour they liked! Definitely will be coming back! Earl grey was definitely my favourite!Vegetarian options: sorbetto“
“Perfect spot to satisfy your late night sweet cravings! Or just when you need ice-cream after dinner! Great ambiance, vibrant color and ample parking. They have a huge variety of flavors to satisfy all sorts of sweet and tangy cravings, whether its falooda, rollz ice cream or soda, every flavor is unique and delicious!!!! Highly recommend for your next dessert outing. Service is great and portion size is huge!!!!!“
“A very cute ice cream store. Its neighbourhood is full of construction sites so it may not feel so welcoming on the way to get there. However, once you see the pink and joyful appearance of this store you will have a smile on your face inadvertently We wanted to taste more flavours so we ordered a flight with 5 different flavours mini scoops. We had strawberry cherry, hazelnut chocolate chip, brown butter coffee, brown sugar vanilla, and Earl Grey tea, this is also the order of our preference. They were all very tasty. I wish we could have all kinds of flavours. One very impressive thing is that half of the ice cream flavours are vegan. As we know, vegan ice cream is usually not appealing but they very do a good job!“
“Service was so amazing. I didn’t catch her name, but she offered samples of whichever flavors we wanted, even after my first scoop. I tried the maple pear sorbetto and unexpectedly loved it, then asked to try the earl gray, which led to me getting another scoop. Didn’t expect to love the flavors so much. Awesome place.“
“Love the sub sandwiches here!! My favorite is the beef brisket but I also enjoy the caprese and the mushroom subs on my veggie days. The ice-cream is devine and a must have. I recommend all the flavors but my personal favorite is the black sesame. The westmoreland shop staff are always friendly and efficient. It’s a great place to stop by and enjoy really good food and service!!“
“Fun to Watch, Delicious to Eat!Arctic Bites is a must-try for a cool treat and a little entertainment. They make your ice cream fresh right in front of you - it's fascinating to watch them mix and roll it on the frozen slab. The flavors are creative and plentiful, and the ice cream has a wonderfully smooth texture. A bit pricey, but worth it for the unique experience.“
“Always have a solid experience whenever we visit. We definetly have our favourite flavours here, but you can't go wrong with anything you pick. Highly recommend this place. Also appreciate that the owner really makes efforts to help within the community as well.“
“It's always nice to see something Hungarian around here, although the kürtöskaláchs were less like the ones at home. Budapest highlights: Pál apostle street sign from the 23rd district, some authentic ceramic bowls, Budapest hanging corridor wall decor. It's always nice to see something Hungarian around here, although the kürtöskaláchs were less like the ones at home. “Best coconut cream pie I've ever had and such excellent service! They made one to order (very last minute) for a dinner party I was attending and it was a huge hit! Not a crumb left. I'll definitely be ordering from Sweetie Pie again.“
“The ice cream here is always delicious and super fresh. Their waffle cones are perfection. This last time, one of the attendants told me I had already been there once that week and that it was too much. But usually attendants are nice and don't make those comments. Their popsicles are amazing too.“
“Tried this place twice - the first time in the summer and the second during fall. My favourite is the Vanillanut (ube twisted with charcoal coconut stacked on vanilla bean). I asked for the ice cream in a cup with the cone on the side (to prevent it melting everywhere), but during the summer this was inevitable. About 5 minutes in, the ice cream was spilling out of the cup and all over my hand. During the fall, we avoided this problem, with the trade-off being the coldness combined with the chilly weather. The vanilla bean is delicious and super flavourful. The ube is tasty and one of my favourite combos with the vanilla, while the charcoal coconut wasn't too strong and just perfect. The servers were friendly and nice. iHalo Krunch also offers a free cone on your birthday!“
“Really cute place with ample seating and a lot of flavors to choose from! Went here after lunch and it was not too busy. There were so many options to choose from. The gelato was very tasty, I got the mint chocolate small size. The place was kept clean and the cashier was friendly.“
“Decent ice cream, but definitely nothing special. It was tasty, they have a lot of flavors and even though there are still a lot of customers, you get your turn pretty quickly. You can find a few places to sit inside and in front of the store.“
“I’m a fan of all Demetres. We went this one for a change and the food is very consistent, almost exactly the same of the one we use to go. Service is a little slow but considering the volume of customers they do, is decent. Place is definitely busy, we waited like 20 minutes to get sat. I just don’t like crowded places but that’s just me. Overall good experience.“
“Kawartha ice cream and lots of other choices like soft serve and Froyo. There are so many flavors and the prices are standard. Good size scoop for a single! My go to for summer ice cream because of the quick lines and great customer service.“
“Great services and tasty ice cream! Worth the stop with the family for a sweet treat. Amazing, friendly staff here! Little one enjoyed his ice cream so much. And I loved the fact they had a kid size my son was able to hold the cup and eat on his own.“
“Dessert is awesome but there's nothing special about that, standard across all outlets of Baskin Robbins. I would like to talk about the outstanding service we got thanks to Nick. Literally baked a fresh waffle on request, very accommodating and excellent suggestions based on our choices. One should probably visit this outlet for the fantastic service.“
“I could not imagine i would give a 5 to a yogurt place... what an idea.... and for 8 to 9 dollars each!! how dumb... but my!! These were so good!! It will be on my fav things for a little while now!! Mango tango top good! Fresh, perfect!! Getting my second one, matcha berry now“
“Best experience today! The person working was so kind, patient, and thoughtful. I came in for donuts and he took his time to explain the toppings, dips, and his recommendations. He was thorough and you can tell he cares. I paid before he made the donuts and when they were done, he still told me to take a look before he sealed the box to see what I thought. So sweet! After, he ran across the street to our car because he saw our dog and wanted to give him special lactose free ice-cream. It made our day!!! Our dog LOVED the treat and we enjoyed our donuts :). They tasted great and looked beautiful. First time here and won’t be the last. What a kind soul!“
“HIGH recommendation if you are wanting to eat some awesome desserts! The staff was very wonderful! My friend and I tried one of each on our first visit and it was YUMMMY!! We will be visiting again, soon. Though, next time will be one of each gelato! I love it! Keep up the great work!!“
“Stepping into Your Gelato is like taking a flavor-filled voyage to Italy without ever leaving Toronto! Each scoop sings a serenade of creamy delight, and oh, the Bacio, Siciliano and Pistachio ! They're not just flavors, they're memories in the making. This is not just an ice cream shop; it's a dream churned to perfection. All dessert connoisseurs, here's your next favorite destination!“
“This place is kind of hidden once you park. You can see it facing Middlefield in case you are having trouble finding the door. 5/5 in all areas, there also needs to be a rating out of 5 for hygiene, this place is clean and they are really excellent with their food handling. On top of the the owner was friendly and the desserts were so good. Lots of desi inspired flavours from drinks to ice cream. It's more of a grab and go style with some benches.“
“Me and my group went on friday night. The place was small but had great great selection of gelatos !! Staff was super friendly and working so hard. We tasted a few and they were all so great. Fig, peach, pistachio and black sesame (recommended by the staff) was my favourites! We had 4 scoops cup and it was worth the money.I wish they renovate this place better so it’s more engaging and looks like a gelato shop. The vibe was more like a quick pizza take out shop.“
“Good food, good drinks in a prime location right on Lake Ontario. Nice little spot for a drink in the city and a light snack as well. Didn’t have dinner, only small plates/sides but the food overall looked good so I’d recommend this bar.“
“This is your classic, fun little ice cream shop that you got to with your family. The kids love it and the staff love them back. There are lots of flavors to choose from and they are cycled in and out of the rotation. There's not a ton of space to hang out, but it can be nice outside on a warm summer day/evening. It's not the best ice cream in town, but it's definitely solid and a great hang.“
“Another hidden gelato gem in the Danforth area, so pretty from outside, has a lot of ice cream and gelato selection separately. Had their caramel gelato which was amazing. Moreover, a great chocolate selection as well with very friendly service. Lots of parking lots and street parking around the area. Definitely will revisit! Thanks!“
“My must visit gelato shop every summer I’m in Toronto. This time I tried the Nutella chocolate cookies flavor with waffle cone, while boyfriend selected the peanut butter flavor. This shop has one of the most solid gelatos in town I just can’t get enough of. No wait line formed yet around 2100.A fire truck drove by while boyfriend and I sat on nearby chairs to enjoy the gelato cones. I cheered the cone to the truck and one of the fireman signed cheers back.“
“Very nice drink! I got the Oreo Cream Milk Tea for a decent price ($7.45) and the quantity was great with excellent taste as well! They gave me my order in less than a minute and they were extremely polite! I recommend this place to everyone in the area wanting a sweet drink or just some bubble tea in general!“
“Pleasantly shocked at how good their ice cream was and how they operate despite fierce competition right by them.Ordered a smaller cup to snack on and was shocked by the flavour. Genuinely could have ate a tub of it and questioned buying a pint.“
“Hands-down my favourite sushi place in Toronto!! This is a new spot and the owners are the loveliest and kindest people. Their prices are super affordable (around $10 per roll!), especially for downtown Toronto, and the quality is amazing. The owners said they wanted to keep prices low so that lots of people can enjoy their food but business has been slow. I eat here at least once a week and they’ve given me miso soup and sometimes extra pieces of sushi just because. Support a local small business - such a hidden gem like the other reviews say.“
“Been here more than 10 times already and been trying almoat everything in their menu. This Japanese restaurant is a must try as they have a lot to offer from appetizer to dessert. But what I love the most are their rice bowls. The serving is generous. The place is also a good spot to try desserts specially ice cream. Snacks or side dish that I would recommend are takoyaki and karaage. For rice bowls it's the Gyu don and Katdu don. Rice rolls everything's delicoius.“
“The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, we didn't know what we wanted to order so the staff told us to take a menu have a seat, relax and decide what we wanted. The desserts, my friend ordered the funnel cake fries and I had crunchy munchy butter toffee cookie both were absolutely decadent!! Btwn the desserts and service we'll definitely be back 10/10 recommend“
“Went in last night (Wednesday) with some friends for their pianist, paired with the oysters and wine it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I also got a quesadilla which was excellent. I read the other reviews and I’m going to assume that our friends have not been to Latin America and they were expecting something similar to what you would find in the USA - not traditional tacos. These are more like traditional tacos with a simple meat, bit of toppings on a wee tortilla, just like in the south. I had it with the house hot sauce and BAM that stuff is top notch. Wonderful little bar if you are local and sounds like it’s a great spot for lunch!“
“After seeing from the street that they had ice cream, we stopped in. But it turned out to be way more than a dessert shop. We had unique coffees and other Turkish drinks and confections. Our waitresses, Elif, was friendly and explained different foods to us. The next day our friends that we visited with suggested breakfast at Mado. Elif was there and suggested an amazing breakfast spread which didn’t disappoint. We’ll definitely be back!“
“This is my Go-to place for vegan chocolate when something special is in order. Gift giving from me must always be cruelty free and i have given gift boxes of vegan chocolate to dairy consumers and they have LOVED it. Worth every penny If you value quality“
“We hired My Sweetie Pie to be the dessert at our wedding in place of a wedding cake. They were absolutely incredible! it was such a lovely alternative for our wedding (we're not huge cake people). Everybody loved the pies! With our order, we also got small to-go containers so our guests could take the leftovers and it was a huge hit! My Sweetie Pie made the delivery process so easy and worked into our special day seamlessly. Good people, great pie, and overall a fantastic local business. Thanks so much, My Sweetie Pie!“
“Good coffee. Needed to get some coffee because the garbage from Tim Hortons left a bad taste in my mouth, threw that in the trash where it belonged and stumbled by White Squirrel, thought I'd get a drip coffee with milk and sugar. Saved the day.“
“Okay, more people need to check out Snowbaby, located near College and Spadina (on Spadina right underneath the TNT Supermarket, inside that building complex). I was so pleasantly surprised by the food and the service and will definitely be back!Included in the images is their menu and deals. The menu isn't extensive but does offer lots of goodies at affordable prices and lots of combos for when you're hungry and need a treat. Example: Combo 2 - Snowbaby Lemonade + Snowbaby Hot Dog + Snowbaby Cone for $8 or just settle for a hot dog and cone for $5 (Combo 4).Our hands were full so I wish we could have tried a few other items on the menu. Here's a quick re-cap of what we tried.Snowbaby Tapioca Milk Tea ($4, good size, definitely bigger than a small). The tapioca bubble tea was flavourful. You can taste the tea, the milk, and a hint of brown sugar. I like that it wasn't too sweet and you get a generous portion of boba (not overcooked!).Brown Sugar Tapioca Sundae ($4, also good size and generous helping of tapioca/boba). Okay, I've never had this combination before from a store but it's decadent and fun to eat. The ice cream reminds me of a milk ice cream/yogurt that was sweet and paired interestingly well with the brown sugar and boba/tapioca balls. If you like sweet stuff and boba, you'll love this combo.Keep in mind, the store itself doesn't have a sit down area but there is a universal shared seating space where customers from the TNT Supermarket upstairs and Snowbaby customers can be seen enjoying their food. The Snowbaby location is on the main floor with no stairs to enter the building so is wheelchair accessible.Staff working that day was very pleasant, polite, and professional and patiently answered my questions since I had never been there before. Next time I'm in the area and in need of a treat/bubble tea, I am definitely going back to Snowbaby!“
“Love the food, coffee is delicious and staff are really, really good. A lot, if not all, the food is made on site, so it is really fresh. Fresh croissants, made in-house, if you can get there early enough! Sandwiches are always good and they do pizza, again, made in-house.Parking: Just west of the coffee shop, green p parking, about 12 spots. Some parking on the street, about 6 spots.“
“What a wonderful wonderful job of customer service. I was undergoing a colonoscopy and the doctor was very specific that I should not have any fiber.Well by mistake my wife picked up a flavor that said 0 fibre on the main Baskin website but on the container itself it said 2 grams of fibre. Not realizing, i opened it and had a little bit of it when i saw it had 2 grams. My wife went back and explained what happened. I did not think they would take it back but the owner - His name is Uzair took the opened container back and my wife exchanged it for another flavor with no fibre.I thought that was exception customer service and Azair should be commended for his wonderful customer service. Thank you so much. Papa J aka Jerry Kleiner“
“It is definitely one of the top croissants bakeries in Toronto. I got to try a few of the flavours of their flaky pastry. They have more classic variants like pan du chocolate and Nutella filled croissant but also more contemporary flavours. One thing I really loved was the almond croissants, which are filled generously with a mixture of almond paste and chocolate. Absolutely amazing. We had some of the savoury pasties, they are great if you want a quick bite. But if that is not enough the bread ? is very good as well.“
“Purple rice yogurt: sooooo good. I recommend half sugar because halfway through the drink, it started tasting too sweet. I love the chewy bits of rice, and the underlying tangy flavor to the yogurt is delicious. (5/5)Matcha yogurt: the matcha was blended so well and was strong enough without being overpowering. I recommended half sugar for this as well. (5/5)Mango yogurt: with fresh mango puree, tasty but not my personal favorite (3.5/5)I wanna try matcha plus purple yogurt next time ?“
“Our takeout experience at Postman Waffles was fantastic. We ordered a variety of waffles, including chocolate, everything, and churro, and each one was a delight. The waffles were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable. If you're a waffle lover, Postman Waffles is a must-visit spot.“
