“We ordered various dishes off the menu for pick up at 6 and the food was ready right on time,exactly as ordered , hot and delicious. We live nearby so picked it up and paid cash as you get a free menu item over a certain amount if you do this. We chose the sweet and sour spare ribs as our extra and were pleased as they were not only delicious but boneless! We will definitely order from 5 Star again. ?“

“Easily my new favourite place, the last 4 years I have been searching Oshawa area for my go-to Chinese takeout spot. I must have tried them all. While this place is a little pricer than others, it checks all the boxes. Standouts for me are the ginger beef, Soo guy chicken and chicken low-mein. We usually get a family meal than add on some additional dishes not offered in the combination meals. Everything has always been delicious and consistent. Staff are always very friendly and we end up having food for 3 days or more.“

“My family and I just visited Win Win and i have to say it’s phenomenal, we ordered the cantonese chow mein, the beef and broccoli stir fry, chicken fried rice and the chicken balls. I must say it’s a hidden gem in whitby, the boy at the front is very kind and helpful. Lastly say the chicken balls were my favorite they were so juicy and tender.“

“The Customer service was phenomenal! Came in with my cousins to get some takeout, the owner spoke to us and offered a lot of options since it was our first time they also gave us extra plates and utensils and extra of basically everything. The wait time was about 10-15 minutes, we had finished a movie and all of us were thirsty and the owner had provided us with water aswell! Highly recommend Calypso Queen in Whitby! “Ordered Easter dinner for six people .Everything was excellent, I could not find anything to complain about. The food was cooked to perfection. Everything had a great taste and very full of flavour especially the Chicken balls were so fresh tasting and white inside. The servings per container were generous we even had enough for a dinner of four the next day .“

“It’s hit or miss, but when these guys decide to cook up a delicious meal, they deliver. My only feedback is that they need more flavour in their rice. Maybe a little oyster sauce and sesame oil? It’s very bland tasting.General Tao chicken (although I think they recently changed the coating), Singapore noodles (needs a little more curry but the shrimp is always cooked to perfection) and mushroom egg foo young are the best around.“
