“I’ve been keeping this gem to myself for a while — hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in Toronto. No contest. I’m from Montreal, so when I say it’s good, believe me, I know food.

I ordered the Agnello — Every bite was juicy and flavorful. Honestly, I just wished the lamb portions were bigger because I could’ve easily gone for another serving if my budget allowed.

My husband went for the Lasagna — It was saucy, perfectly seasoned, and the pasta was spot-on. The portion was generous; he couldn’t finish it and took the rest home for the kids.

We went back in May 2025 — my second visit — and while the food was amazing as always, the service that day was a bit off. We got there around 5-ish, first ones in, but somehow were the third table to get served. Odd, but not enough to stop me from coming back. This place will always be my top Italian spot in the city.”

Went here on a Saturday, I used to work in the industry so I understand how busy it can be at 7pm on a weekend however, the staff seemed very unorganized and our server seemed very rushed with our table. The servers had no assigned sections or tales so they were taking tables as they pleased leaving our server overwhelmed, we had to inquire about the specials because he forgot to tell us, the manager was also scolding the employees out in the dinning room instead of in private. Overall the food was amazing and I would definitely recommend it however, the restaurant itself seemed unorganized and dysfunctional.”

“I am Korean Canadian with a pretty normal palate for food. I have become a regular here for the breads and pastry. In particular I love their personal sized pizzas and a tubular pastry that has feta and spinach Burek I think, I forget the name but absolutely the most crispy flaky and delicious breakfast I can have. Seems (pronounce Shems) is the gentlman usually behind the counter who is just the kindest man. They also have raw honey which my kids loved and I just tried the cherry drink. Good stuff especially for my gout. I am a customer for life~”

I’ve noticed a remarkable improvement in service lately — especially during the afternoon shift. I don’t know the supervisor’s name, but her presence and leadership have clearly made a positive impact.
Her customer service was outstanding — polite, friendly, and attentive. The entire environment felt clean, welcoming, and well-managed. I was especially impressed to find fresh bagels and potato wedges around 8 o’clock — something I’ve never experienced before at that time.
It’s truly a nice experience now. Bravo to the whole team — you’re doing a great job!”

“We went back to Southeast Sandwiches and tried the Holy Shrimp and the KFC sandwich again. This place never disappoints. The Holy Shrimp sandwich was full of crisp shrimp with a soft fresh bun that held everything together without falling apart. The KFC sandwich delivered the same great crunch and flavour I have come to expect. What makes SES stand out is how you can build your sandwich the way you like it. There are plenty of toppings and several signature sauces available so you can dress it up to your own taste. Portions are generous and the food always feels freshly prepared. The service is friendly and fast, and every visit feels consistent. SES has become one of the few places where we know exactly what we are getting each time and it is always satisfying. We always leave full and already thinking about what I will try next.”

“The ribs are to die for the fall of the bone well seasoned and full of flavor. The wings I took the basic sauce so they were not so great. Did not like to texture either in comparison to how nice and soft the ribs are. But still it was very good value for your money”

The steak pasta feels like pure comfort — creamy, rich, and packed with flavor in every bite. Then there’s the Angus beef burger, which is simply next-level — juicy, smoky, and built just right. And the chicken parmesan? It’s got that real homemade Italian feel — golden crust, melty cheese, and just the right tang in the sauce.

The place itself is spotless, the vibe is relaxed, and the team always makes you feel welcome — like you’re part of the regular crowd.

Westend Grill has mastered the balance of great food, clean atmosphere, and genuine hospitality.

One small request though — please bring back the Chicken Skewers Sauté! That dish was legendary and is truly missed.”
