“The food is beyond amazing!! And they have a great selection of desserts as well. ✨”
“Yesterday, my two friends got married and had the reception at P&M's Restaurant. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and home made. The perogies were out of this world. The dinner was served hot and delicious. The cherry cheesecake was divine.
The staff were great, friendly and very professional and you felt at home there. Everything ran so smoothly.
It's funny; a couple of years ago, I went there for lunch with my sister and when I walked in the restaurant, I thought to myself that this place looked so familiar. Then I remember that in the late 1980's and early 1990's, I used to go to this restaurant many, many times with my former roommate. We loved the place then and I love it now. They have renovated the place since the 90's but I remember the outlay.
I was mentioning to my sisters a while back that it is so hard to find family oriented mom & pop restaurants these day but when you go to P&M, that is what you get. Great food, great prices, great staff and a great experience.
I recommend this to all. We will be returning again soon.”
“Perfect delicious ribs you can tell when they are cooked properly”

“The food is so great! I feel like I'm in Brazil! You got to try the feijoada on Saturdays.”
“This is by far the best Shawarma place I’ve been to. I was served by a very wonderful young man with amazing a service. We was very fast and efficient and very helpful with my order. I happened to get his name which is Pedro and I will always come back and ask him to work on my food.”

“This is a little local gem. Food is superior to any cafe I know. Wine selection, prepared food, frizen pies are superb. Everything about it is pretty special.
Its really a casual but uplifted food place, not a cafe with some pastries.
Their sandwiches are a delight. Sourcherry pie is to die for. Franitta's are like no other.”
“I’ve been coming here since 2018 and this place has been amazing! The menu is quite vast and I find that the combos are the best bang for your buck! This family run and operated place has amazing service as well, with first items coming out in less than 10 minutes after ordering. I’ve been to quite a few sushi places in my time, and they hands down have the best shrimp nigiri and tuna. Highly, highly recommended. Extremely convenient to get to as well!”

“The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were exceptional. The establishment is very clean and has an upscale feeling with home like treatment. The owner came around to check on each table. Warm and welcoming. My 9 year old grandson loved his food and pinches of the cheek from the maître d’. 😆 We’ve been before and will definitely come back again.”
“I went there and got a slice of pepperoni pizza. It came quick and it tasted pretty good. The ranch was super good and gave it to me for free and it was homemade. The drinks are cheap only costing $1.50. The food is also pretty cheap. It costed me $10. The service was perfect.”
“It was beautiful to eat there and very authentic even for European, btw I from Germany and it felt any term of cliche. The other costumer doesn't know to remove their plates to the return point but that isn't an issue of the business. Nethertheless, my meal was very good and the tomato sauve was perfect. Thanks a lot God, that my path of lives came nearby.”
“This restaurant is fantastic. I ordered a Margherita pizza and a pepperoni pizza, both were delicious, especially the Margherita. The staff was also very friendly and even gave us a free garlic bagel. The restaurant is also very clean and a great place to dine in.”

“I would like to note that you have a very good team: all staff are always friendly, serve food, and are ready to help. There are no issues with the service — it’s excellent.
The only request:
• Please clean the tables thoroughly, as the varnish makes them sticky.
• The entrance door is very dirty, with hair on it — it looks unpleasant and untidy. This is the first impression of your restaurant.
Thank you!”
“Best place on the Earth (unfortunately not 24/7). Can't imagine Canada without Tim Hortons. Keeps you warm when cold, helps to cool down when hot, and makes sure you're not hungry when you're short on time or need something delicious out of a proven and approved by community menu (and if someone disagree, talk it out please, because here's people first).”

Takeout Restaurants
“This soft serve gelato spot is a not-so-hidden gem, as you can tell from the lines that build up every evening down the block. They have a few weekly featured flavours (usually seasonal produce or in collaboration with a local restaurant), with other flavours available in bars or take home cups. $7 per cup, cash only, menu on Instagram. Standouts include any fruit/berry + cream flavour combination, but you really can't go wrong.”
“I have been ordering from Oink Oink consistently for a while now. They have helped me get through late night exam prep with the best Nutella and banana crêpes in town. I placed my first order requesting for less Nutella and, since then, all my orders have been with less Nutella without me having to specifically request it. Their attention to detail is amazing, and their crêpes are top notch! 10/10 service always!”
“Main cons: no seating, and during the morning rush, be prepared to stand in line on the sidewalk
The coffee is wonderful! I also really liked that medium and large iced lattes are available, so you’re not limited to just 16 oz. We also tried a plain croissant, and it was nicely buttery and flaky.”
“Honestly one of the BEST bakeries in Toronto and Canada! I love how the focus is on the food and service and therefore there’s No need for a fancy ambience when the products are so good!
The best cannoli, giardoni and eclair.
It was the first time I tried the Giardoni here and it’s too good - rich texture, amazing flavour and you need to try it out. Also the young girl who helped me was so kind and helpful. The owner is truly kind as well and honestly such a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re lucky, they also have half off on some of their pastries on a few days!
A true gem!”

“Bar Burrito is a great place if you’re craving fresh and flavorful Tex-Mex food. The burritos are generously filled with a variety of ingredients, and you can customize everything to your taste. The tortillas are soft and warm, and the fillings like rice, beans, grilled chicken, and fresh veggies blend perfectly with their sauces.
The staff is usually friendly and quick, making the experience smooth even during busy hours. The portions are satisfying, and the food tastes fresh and well-prepared. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick, tasty, and filling meal. Highly recommended for burrito lovers! 🌯”
“To be honest, I have never experienced anything like this before.
I had no intention of leaving a negative review, because the issue was already addressed that same evening. The restaurant apologized, accepted responsibility, and we considered the matter resolved.
Throughout the entire situation, we remained polite. We did not swear, insult anyone, or cause a scene. We simply raised our concerns respectfully after waiting an extremely long time for our food, while some people at our table had already finished eating and others still had not received their meals. In restaurant service, that is a major issue. What made it worse was that no staff member came to explain the delay or provide any updates.
What I find disappointing is that three of you used three separate Google accounts to respond to my review and indirectly identify me by mentioning our table number and even commenting on my local accent, calling me low EQ. Then you claim that you were not referring to me specifically.
I understand that you gave the restaurant 5-star reviews because you had a positive experience, or part of their promotion( 5 stars review for a free dish) and that is completely your right. However, by repeatedly targeting me in your responses, you have only encouraged me to leave more than one review. Our group had nine people — if I wanted to, there could have been nine reviews instead of one.
Arguing back and forth through Google Reviews is not helping the restaurant. If you would like an unbiased public discussion, feel free to post the situation on Facebook and I will gladly respond there.
If these personal attacks continue after this review, I will also make a Facebook post about the situation. I do not believe that would be beneficial for the restaurant, and I would prefer not to take it that far.
I sincerely hope this is where the discussion ends. This was originally a private matter between me and the restaurant, it was addressed, and I believed it had already been resolved.”
“Great food. Not busy when we were there Thursday for lunch. Our waitress was lovely and not pushy (no server there is so you can relax!). Good value. My client who had never tried Lebanese food before loved it...and I brought home dinner for my son who was thrilled too.”

“There is no other bagel you need to eat in the GTA. None. Primrose continues to nail the perfect texture and taste, and their commitment to perfection is amiable. Every time I go I buy extra to share with friends and family and convert them to the Primrose way. They are always happy. This is the way.”
“Café Daki gets its name from the Greek word kafedaki — “a small cup of coffee” — and that pretty much sets the tone.
Tucked into St. Clair West in Toronto, this tiny-but-mighty café delivers a distinctly European feel with a soft touch of Greece. The footprint is small, but the execution is thoughtful enough that nothing feels missing. It’s the kind of space that makes you reconsider what “small” can actually do.
When you walk in, there’s a charming little nook to the left — potted plants, a vintage-style table, a mirror that bounces the light just right. Cozy without trying too hard. On the opposite wall (only a few feet away), a slim row of seating (4-5) makes dine-in possible without crowding the space. Every inch feels intentional.
There’s a refrigerated retail section stocked with water, hummus, packaged drinks, and desserts. A small board highlighting local businesses adds a community touch. One of my favourite details? A bicycle mounted along the wall with a wooden plank across the top, cleverly used to hold lids, tissues, and essentials. Functional, but also very aesthetic.
The coffee program is strong. They use beans from De Mello Coffee Roasters, and the classic espresso menu is all there — plus traditional Greek coffee. (Quick tip: drink it while it’s hot; let it sit too long and the grounds rise to the top.) Alternative milk options are plenty — oat, almond, coconut, soy — and their tea selection features premium blends from Sloane Fine Tea Merchants.
The baked goods lean Greek in the best way — spanakopita and tiropita that are flaky, savoury, and genuinely satisfying. On the retail shelf, you’ll find De Mello beans alongside Greek extra virgin olive oil and thyme honey — small details that round out the story.
Café Daki proves you don’t need square footage to create atmosphere. Just intention, warmth, and a very good cup of coffee.”
“This is such a lucky find. I was craving samosa for the last two days and I was going to make them myself only to discover I don’t have all the spices needed. Being a rainy day February 20 2026 and not feeling the greatest I didn’t want to drive around in rush hour traffic. I came upon this place and I’m really grateful. They really do serve hot fresh home cooked food. I got three samosa and Chana masala and plain naan. Everything was made fresh by the three family members. Everything was flavourful without being too overpowering (I was worried about the Chana masala being too heavy on the onion and garlic but it’s wasn’t). The sweet sauce with the samosa was so good. I was sweating eating everything lol (I don’t think it’s every spicy it’s likely because I have been eating a lot of bland food lately) but I think that’s a good sign and just what my body needed to help me feel better. Overall my total was either $14 or $16 and it was really filling. While I was waiting there was another man there getting a large order and then another man came in and asked me if the food was good there. So we both came across this place randomly today and were trying it for the first time. If you see this I hope you also enjoyed your meal!
The man who originally answered the phone and the woman working the front were all so accomodating , patient and kind. Thank you :) I’ll probably be back tomorrow :)”
“Eddy from Mr Iceberg came to our street party as a super last minute request when our other ice cream truck cancelled on us. We were so thrilled he was able to help us and serve a very long line of excited kiddos! Very good ice cream selection, flavours and excellent service !!”
“Good food at a fair price.
Been a few times now and I’m still surprised at the prices each visit.
My most recent order was the teriyaki chicken bento box which comes in at an astonishing $12.50! With other comparable spots pricing their boxes from $18-$22, the value seems ridiculous.
However, there are a few caveats to this price:
1. No rolls are included with the meal. Other restaurants typically include 4-6.
2. The tempura was lacking. Only 2 pieces and they were broccoli and mushroom. Would pay more for some shrimp or yam.
For the price it’s difficult to complain and I left feeling satisfied. If you’re craving some Japanese food at an affordable price, Sushi Zuki is the place to go.”
“This place is great! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.”
“One of the loveliest bakeries ive ever been to, the donuts were delicious and the barista/cashier, Raquel, was such a sweetheart it legitimately made my day🤍. She was so accommodating, patient and helpful!! Keep up the good work raquel!
The donuts were super moist and tasted fresh! Super genuine, it felt like i was eating the ones back home.”
“I go into this Bakery all the time the bread is the best bread in Ontario the service is fantastic the owners are beautiful people I'm very proud to go in there and buy my bread five stars Fred's Bakery I encourage anybody with everybody to go buy your bread in this Bakery you will not be disappointed”
“Ordered their egusi and pounded yam on doordash, food is great in terms of taste and it was fresh. I’m giving them a 3 cos they are too pricey it’s actually ridiculous!
I also paid for extra pounded yam but didn’t get it (probably missed it though but i’m pained cos i paid for it and it’s expensive)
UPDATE- you actually pay extra if it’s pounded yam, so i didn’t pay for extra pounded yam, my bad. Now updating to a 4 since the price is the major issue.”
“Lots of great vegetarian options to choose from (and the omnivores enjoy the food too!)
Lovely staff, and great food. It's become a regular eat in stop in the neighbourhood”

“I have been here many time, the menu is small only 10 items but I like all of them. I usually always get the steak, the tacos and pupusas are good too, and the soups beef or chicken are tasty.
The little variety store, when they have stock, has a nice selection of Guatemalan grocery items.”
“Wow I finally got the Shanghai Lumpia pork and It was delicious, thank you Susan for the delicious lumpia! And the turron omg just like old times, thank you xo
See you soon!!”
“My son and I visited here for a meal on the way home.
He speaks very highly of this location, citing the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food.
Osmow's is a great franchise (I haven't really found a bad one yet) and this location upholds that standard for me.
I ordered a falafel wrap and it was well put-together and the ingredients were nice and fresh.
Great space, people and food!”

“This place is amazing. The owner, Linda was so warm and inviting she made us feel like we were being welcomed into her home. The food also tasted like a real home cooked meal. Everything is homemade including the pastel de nata as you can see in the photo - it was by far the best one I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend!”

“We just at the single best fish and chips dinner of our lives!!! Holy mackerel!! This was excellent!! Onion rings are to die for!”
“Still good, although not quite as good as it used to be, but is still worth a trip. Grilled calamari app didn't have much flavour. Pasta was still fantastic though. Friendly service and good overall so I will be back :)”
“I have visited the restaurant several times, and I can confirm the food is delicious, always well served, good portions (I have attached pictures, keep in mind some are half doses of the requested food). The customer service is excellent, super friendly and very professional.
I will be coming back, my go to restaurant.
Highly recommend.
Parking is available across the street, huge parking lot.”
“We were so happy when we found out that this Pai location was in our neighbourhood and it has now become a staple. We don't notice a difference from the downtown and Eglinton locations - it's the exact same quality and portion sizes. We also love that they are so accommodating about substitutions and making items gluten free. Never a bad meal here!”

“I had an amazing experience at Popeyes! From the moment I walked in, the welcoming aroma of freshly cooked food set the tone. Their fried chicken is absolutely top-notch—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The spicy chicken is a game-changer for anyone who loves bold flavors, while the classic version is just as satisfying.”
“Tuesday Sept. 9, 25 . I went there with 3 other friends because we all hungry. The foods and prices were very good. No complaints, It's not class A restaurant and service. It's clean and simple and the most important thing is good food. Strongly recommend to try it out. The owner is friendly.”

“What a great little Cafe! The coffee was yummy; not your standard cookie cutter coffee. We ordered breakfast sandwiches that were absolutely amazing. The English muffin did not taste store bought but homemade. It was so good and the portion was just right. The atmosphere was perfect. The music was loud enough to hear but not so loud that it made conversing difficult. Cute interior and cozy seating. A great find!!!”
“This was my first visit to D Spot, and I was very impressed. The desserts were rich, flavorful, and prepared with great attention to detail. Every item was fresh and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The food arrived quickly, and everything was exactly as ordered. The environment was clean and inviting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be returning.”
