“Despite the restaurant being quaint, the energy inside is electric! The posters on the wall are just so cool, my friends and I tried to identify all the movies (and dramas?) we've watched. And the food is so delicious! We had the corn dogs which were delicious, and the tteokbokki was amazing! We also ordered the spicy sweet and regular soy garlic chicken and they were really good, too. I think the spicy sweet could be a little spicier as well. And the bossam! I still think about it at times. It was delicious! I want to go back ASAP.“
“I got the Paloma, Forager pizza, and the artichoke dip.10/10. Don’t sleep on this spot!Hands down the best artichoke dip. Creamy, full of veggies, and so tasty.Pizza was awesome. I personally love Detroit style pizza but I’ve never had one with an oil instead of sauce on top. SOO good! The crust has a crunchy outside throughout which is sometimes not the case at other establishments.Paloma was top notch. Loved our first visit, can’t wait to come back.“
“This is one of the BEST local taphouses in Beaverton. There are always so many great choices for beer, seltzers, ciders and wine. You can bring outside food in. So go down to the food carts, grab a meal and enjoy the best beers in town at CST.“
“Years ago I worked with Bill at Hayden's and only recently learned this was his place. Last night I finally got to get there for a take out dinner and it was AWESOME! Great job Team. We will definitely be back. ps - How did you get the bread on the Hall Street Italian SO PERFECTLY TOASTED?!?! And my son loved the Cheesy Garlic Bread. Great Portions for the price! thank you thank you“
“Really good burgers! Plenty of seating area, can sit outside or inside. Also has a movie theater which is my only complaint. While it’s a minor issue during parts of the movie you can hear the sound system while you are eating inside. But wasn’t a huge issue at least for me.My bacon burger was huge. Although I had another patty added to it.Normal price for a bacon burger was $17But they do have happy hour from 3-6 & 9 until close everyday.Parking: It’s beside the building and some parking on the side street. It is across the street from Safeway so you could just park there and cross the street.“
“Thirsty Lion is my favorite restaurant in Hillsboro. I go for brunch most weekends as they have an excellent brunch menu. Mikyla is one of their best servers and I always ask for her at brunch. All the servers are attentive and friendly.I recommend the edamame or pretzel for an appetizer, and the bread pudding for desert. You can’t go wrong with any entree but my favorite is the Caesar salad with salmon and my husband loves the French dip.“
“Prices were spot on! A flight was only $10. My favorites were the cherry limeade and the pumpkin spice. They have board games to play and a couple arcade games. It was incredibly busy when we went. Seating is indoor and covered outdoor. This place does not serve food, it's either bring in your own or get delivery from near by places. Definitely will be visiting again.“
“I came to Hops on Tap to see a band perform. As a concert venue, Hops on Tap does a great job! The band sets up in a large area in one of the "main corners" of the venue, and all tables have a good view. The interior is also very brightly-lit, which is appreciated. There are shelves with lots of board and card games, and several patrons come regularly to enjoy music and play games. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and you may see a radio-controlled R2D2 make an appearance at the end of the night. Food is serviceable, but is nothing noteworthy. The soft pretzel is clearly a SuperPretzel, and a lot of what's on the menu, and things like napkins, etc. appear to come from Costco. Not that there's anything wrong with this, of course, and I'll probably opt for something different than a sandwich on my next visit (perhaps their "scratch-made" soup). I was very happy that Hops on Tap offers Kombucha on-tap as well. Parking is very simple as Hops on Tap is in a very large shopping center with its own equally large parking lot. If you want a good place to see live music, Hops on Tap fits the bill nicely!“
“If you haven't had Blind Satyr beer, you don't know what you're missing! Don't expect floofy apricot infused kombucha brews. The beer here is pure, unadulterated goodness that pairs well with a good ribeye and doesn't leave you with a sugar hangover. looking forward to trying more of their amazing brews!“
“Karina was a delightful server and the environment was warm, quiet, inviting. My wife and I enjoyed new dishes neither of us had tried and it was wonderful to be warm and fed on a stormy night.Parking: Multi tiered parking. Though I could see it being Full and hard to figure out.Wheelchair accessibility: A bit rough for wheelchairs, but it is still possible“
“Barleycorn," of course, refers to the barley used in malt liquor. And aren't we glad it does? Inside John Barleycorns, you'll find a nice, dark, cozy space — topped by a dramatic cathedral ceiling — and McMenamins-strength ales and spirits. Outside, the terrace is surrounded by a garden.Stop by with family and friends for a pint or two, handcrafted in-house.Happy Happy Hour 2-5 everyday“
“I truly love this place. Both Andy and Dennis (owners) are solid guys and always are friendly. As is Matt when he fills in. There's always a great selection of beers and cider on tap and they just added some Monster malt beverages. They don't have food but do have vendors that come with a food truck and you can bring your own food in. They do have chips and other snacks however. Overall a great place to sit and relax.“
“It was so good I didn't even take pictures of it before I started digging in. The toast was perfect (weird place to start, I know, but I saved it for last, so it's freshest in my memory). Nice variety of little smuckers jellies. Hashbrowns were crispy on the top, my favorite texture for hashbrowns. Eggs were scrambled perfectly, not runny and not overcooked. Corned beef hash was good, I like mine a bit crisper than it was, but that's personal preference and not reflection on the cook. Music was on point.Service was really friendly and thoughtful. We walked in on accident, we were following Google maps to another restaurant nearby and didn't pay attention to where the place was, but it worked out. ?“
“This is a great community dive bar. It’s clean, the staff are great and the food is tasty (and at a relatively good price). Their pancakes are fluffy and delicious.Vegetarian options: You can request no bacon/meat on a lot of their dishes to make them vegetarian. My wife loves their breakfast burrito and short stack.“
“We came in to order a couple of pizzas for takeout. The bartender working was pretty nice and took our food order and beverage order as we waited for the pizzas. We ordered the combo and Hawaiian pizzas. Both pizzas came out in good time and were decent.“
“Hands down, best Prime Rib Dip (French Dip)of my life. Could take or leave the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. But the prime rib dip so far out shadows the mediocrity of the sides that it deserves a 5/5. The huckleberry lemon drop was also exceptional and the vodka tonic fully met my expectations. But the Tuesday special prime rib dip was so good I’ll be back just for that! Service was also exceptionally responsive.Parking: Easy to find a spot on a Tuesday night“
“I wish I could give the Atmosphere 10 stars. This place is such a vibe. This spot was recommended so I stopped in to try to get my brewery’s beer on draft, and I chatted with Mattias (sp?) the bartender. But absolutely love the cozy atmosphere, the music, the fireplace on one tv and ski videos on another. I can tell the backyard must be a hit in summer! Can’t wait to come back.“
“Always a great time. Bartenders are always attentive and friendly, even during shift change. They actually smile at you. Brickyard has a couple dart boards, a couple pool tables and some gambling machines. The food when we have ordered aHas tasted yummy, not like old grease, like some bar food. They have an awesome selection of beers and liquors. They carry an array of seltzer flavors too which Is big for me. Bathrooms are never disgusting. Back patio is kept nice. It’s a nice area with convenient parking and not a lot of weird ppl hanging out. We go often and plan on being back soon.“
“They were very accommodating we took our 81 year old dad for his birthday. First they made sure that the seating was OK for him not to cold or not on the high seats. Then we had the best waitress her name was Rebecca R she was so nice and very attentive and she was busy seen her everywhere plus it was a Friday night. I just had to say something because lately my husband and I have been going out every weekend and the service has been terrible. Thank you for my dads birthday special Tina“
“Friendly, welcoming atmosphere with great food and service!! Charming decor and the service I seen and received here has been completely impressive!! Having worked in restaurants and bars when I was younger I know how challenging it can be so I appreciate the efficiency and accuracy d=(^.^)“
“Found this little place when looking for a local speakeasy or bar that had absinthe. I was pleased that they did serve it, but in a mixed drink. I asked if I could have it served traditionally, and with a pineapple juice chaser. I got the 2 oz that were left in their only bottle. I'm guessing they don't have a dripper brouilleur, since a quad dripper fountain was brought to our table. After receiving the pineapple juice chaser, I enjoyed my drink very much. I appreciate the bartender's willingness to try something new and the good service by all employees. The food was standard fare and everything was reasonably priced. Nice, low-light atmosphere. We'll probably be back when they've procured another bottle of absinthe.“
“Old old st johns boozer. Youd think half of the patrons might even die on the spot. Very sketchy at times..and very friendly at times. It makes you think..i dont want the califonia transplants and hipsters taking it over..and i also dont want to be in a knife fight with some long time drug dealer. Like Dungeouns and Dragons..its a role of the dice. No females after dark unless youre armed..thats all of st John's and portland so not the bars fault. Support, but dont go in thinking some violence could happen walking back out.“
“Had a wonderful dinner here the other day! We sat at the bar & was met with exceptional service from the bartender. He made sure we were taken cared of & not forgotten. The Bloody Mary he whipped up was delicious! The pasta I got was also great & so were the fried pickle spears(seasonal menu item). My bf got the burger & he said it was good. Great place for a lil date night or a girls night!“
“We got the bruschetta with pesto and 2 panini sandwiches with a side of homemade chips. The chips were super delicious. The service was ok, it was a bit slow for how few people were there. It is dog friendly. Outside is smoking so we sat around the corner and had no issues with the smoke.Vegetarian options: Several veggie options“
“Lively setting with axe throwing in the background. We came to watch and see how it was done. Burger was juicy and super flavorful but wish the sweet potato flies had still been warm. Our server had a great sense of humor and was just the right amount of attentive in spite of have to hustle among a bunch of tables.“
“Always enjoy going to C I. Always make a point to stop in when I'm in town. Sadly can longer take my father do to age. He loved going just as much. If you can make it over, I highly recommend it. The Nachos are always fantastic. Prices are not high at all, very reasonable. The employees are just as fantastic and do care. Keep up the awesome work.“
“I’ve had drinks and food in bars up and down the east coast and now in the Pacific Northwest. This is, hands down, the best group of people, the best burgers, and best booze I’ve yet experienced. My hugest gratitude to you all.Parking: Parking availableWheelchair accessibility: Parking available“
“I’ve only been in to buy smokes. But I got off of work and Maxwells was closed, so I came here. Glad I did! The machines played all night, so I didn’t lose quick ?? and the lady behind the bar (Christina?) was very attentive and cleaned machines like crazy when someone got up! Which I appreciate because some people are gross! All in all I had a good time, good music in the background and great service! Thank you!“
“A SINGULAR PLACE FOR PHENOMENAL PEOPLE!!! WITH A SPECIAL SERVICE AND DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS LIKE OTHER, IT HAS THEIR PARTICULAR SEAL SINCE THEY HAVE CARE ABOUT DELIVERING ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS A PROPORTIONAL SIZE AND PRICE,NICE SERVICE, BUT IT SHOULD BE ADDEd You won't be disappointed BECAUSE THERE ARE GOOD BEERS?“
“The pizza has declined drastically since our last visit. Looked like pre made crust. It's also expensive considering the pizza competition, like Pizzicato. I haven't had the parmesan twists but they looked good. The service is definitely on point as well as the staff, front and back. The beer was also very good, I have a feeling that the pizza has become more of a plan B for them, Their beer selection is extensive and good. There's a cool family vibe about the whole place that we enjoy. It's also clean and well kept. However, they need to figure out their value proposition at this point, it's way off. Charging $40 for an 18" pizza is reserved for serious hand tossed gourmet pizza, not frozen crust with bland sauce. I think it would be a good place to watch a game during the week with the guys. Whoever is curating their beer selection knows what's up for sure.“
“Great drinks, enjoyed playing music on the jukebox, pool tables are nice and many retro games to play as well as lottery machines. Bartender was very friendly. Cheapest drinks I've found. Was a slow night when I went and it was perfect.“
“We had a party of 20 on a Saturday night. Gale and Danielle were nothing but wonderful and gave us the most amazing service. I really love coming to this place because you feel like you are a part of the family. Thank you for an awesome birthday, Hillside Pub!“
“My friend likes the place because he and eife have gone many times before. It's a local hangout. It was my first time. The food was very good. Hot of the grill and out of the fryer. It was served with a nice large side portion. They employees didn't know us as regulars, so I understand why they were acting the usual stand-off'ish.“
“We really like this hole in the wall type pub. The staff was extremely welcoming, unlike the bar next door. The food is surprisingly good! The owner really cares about the family legacy. I highly recommend this neighborhood watering hole. The other two bars which are nearby really sucked, which makes Rogue pub shine all the brighter.“
“The food was pretty good. I had chicken tenders that were a bit heavy on the breading but the taste was good. Service was good although it was very busy, the place was packed, and I only saw two servers. I don't know if that's normal for a Thursday night but they could have used another server or help from the on shift manager. Drinks were great. Atmosphere was good if you're looking for a place to gather that's loud like most bar type settings.“
“Only giving this place 5 stars for CARRIE and the COOK!! This place is amazing! I always plan hangouts with my friends once a month here. Very AMAZING inexpensive food! Drinks reasonably priced. Very nice inviting atmosphere I always end up meeting someone new here. As well as free pool and you can queue up songs to play in the bar for cheap! Be warned every time I come here and Carrie is NOT present, the service is very poor. The other bartenders don’t know how to do their jobs at all. GIVE CARRIE AND THE COOK A RAISE!!! Carrie is literally CARRYING this place!!“
