“Small wait was worth it. Homestyle delicious food. They truly know how to make a good egg. Tyler is an excellent waiter to top it off. Both times we left full plus leftovers. We're going back!Next time I might have to have one of those humongous hollandaise covered omelettes! The biscuits and gravy are delicious. They have lunch and other things too.“

“If I am going to open a coffee shop, it would be exactly like this coffee shop. It's perfect from the design to the drinks. The design is well thought out and, the attention to detail is incredible. Even the board that lists the daily special is cool. You just have to come check it out for yourself. There's a variety of seating to suit every taste. They even have a loft upstairs with four table and comfortable seats with a small central table. Behind the four tables is wall made to look life shelves you'd find at one's own home. As far as the drinks are concerned, they are has perfect as the place itself, except I wish they had more sugar-free choices. The service in this place sets the standard what customer service should be. There's plenty of parking including some additional street parking, so now you have no excuse. From now on you'll find me here on Saturdays and Sundays. I can't come during weekdays, as they close at four.“

“Just want to leave this review because after seeing how many people give this shop bad reviews because they are vegan is insane! It’s like going to chic-fil-a and being pissed they don’t have burgers. Try something new! Blend some non-dairy options! Stop leaving bad reviews because they don’t have cows milk.“

“Nicest staff and owner. Best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had and the Mac salad was unlike any I've ever seen. My best friend loved her Reuben and also loved the Mac. I took my husband the chicken ceasar home and it was delicious. Packed perfectly. Everything was put together so mindful. This is our new favorite brunch spot. Can't wait to try everything on the menu.“

“Jenni's warmth is palpable and very authentic. She owns this warm and homely space where she is glad to share her moving story. I enjoyed delicious pastries with my friend as we enjoyed the cozy vibes. Please patronise Jenni's Sacred Grounds. I'm sure you'll love it, and love her. Bless her heart. Thank you for sharing your story, Jenni.“

“Best latte I've had in a while and it came with a little chocolate. They have a little market with meats, cheeses, and desserts. I think I got a couple of cookies that were gluten free, but I'm not sure and the friendly employee didn't seem to understand what I was asking. This place is worth a visit if you are in the area. It makes a great place to stock up for a picnic.“

“I've been here a few times and have tried the paninis, macarons, and cheesecake. They were excellent! The service wasn't top notch like the food. A few times were excellent with friendly and helpful staff ready to take my order. Other times, there was no one there and we had to wait until someone came. Not the cozy cafe experience I originally hoped for, but with this food court/truck layout of the station, all of your delicious needs are right at your nose! I ordered from a japanese food truck which was amazing and beyond our expectations. 4/5“

“Wow! Not only are the bagel sandwiches unique and tasty, but you can get a gluten free version and it’s good! Every ingredient was tasty and fresh. Combined it was the best sandwich I ever had. Excellent friendly service. Only open breakfast and lunch so don’t hesitate too long. Bagel sandwiches generally $12 which is a reasonable lunch price (comes with chips). Variety of drinks to choose from . I will be back!Dietary restrictions: Gf bagel was actually good!“

“I had the tom yum noodle soup. It's not like the usual Thai tom yum I eat...broth looked different and it tasted sweeter. I assume it was prepared a different way. I prefer the traditional tom yum. But everything seemed fresh and it tasted fine nonetheless. Would like to try their other items. Esp the waffle and crepe but I'm not currently eating gluten at the moment. Wish they were closer to the main part of Vancouver.“
“This is the BEST place to take your kids for a fun indoor play session! The play space is always very clean and well-managed. We have been here to play several times and today we had our daughter’s birthday party here! It was the best experience! We had to reschedule our party due to sickness and they were AMAZING to work with to get it rescheduled. (Thank you, Tiffany!) They are very responsive and professional. On party day, we showed up to a lovely private party room with the snack trays we ordered, a friendly party host, and a t-shirt and sweet note for our birthday girl. Thank you for the great time! We’ll be back!“

“I really enjoy this place for meeting people. Their drinks are well-made, and the service is friendly. There is an ample mixture of seating and tables. The only downside is that some seats are in terrible condition and should be replaced. But I still recommend this cafe if you are in the area. It is accessible for most people. There are also items to purchase, both manufactured and made by local artisans.“

“I have dined in, but mainly order and pick up...every time I have been happy with my order and service. Supporting a locally owned establishment makes it all the better!Vegetarian options: They are able to make items vegetarian style, but maybe they could have more options“

“The batistas were both really nice. I got their sasquach sandwich & spring special pistachio coffee which was really good. I definitely recommend eating the food warm if you can- I personally have to wait until my coffee is drank, otherwise I feel like my stomach tries to eat itself (even if I eat before any coffee) so I ended up eating my sandwich cold lol- I did try it warm which was amazing & would definitely recommend. I got a warm 24oz with the 2 espresso shots decaffeinated (just bc I'm caffeine sensitive but still wanna drink the coffees lol) & the sandwich for just under $19⁰⁰, but I think it'd be easy to do budget friendly orders here too if you just wanted a coffee lol.Edit; looking at their previous reviews it looks like this particular location needs a new ventilation system to fresh fry the eggs & offer hash-browns... I wonder if they have a goal jar (I'm thinking like a tip jar but specifically for funding a new vent) I could've contributed to or could in the future?Dietary restrictions: If being caffeine sensitive counts as a restriction; They were really nice & told me what exactly my options were for my pistachio spring special were, which was rather helpful. If you're hyper-allergenic-as in breathe a scent & feel nauseous or itchy throat &/orif ingested feel nauseous until you hit some benadryl or actually expell it from your body-to nuts, soy, corn, glucose, or oats (something I know about due to personal experiences) then I honestly wouldn't recommend eating here though bc cross contamination isn't something most businesses can afford to prevent & genuinely can't guarantee. Especially for this coffee shack, they'd have to wash everything throughly & really read the ingredients list, & there's absolutely no guarantee they'd recognize all the artificial corn-based ingredients (such as *any* dextrose or most syrups & others I don't remember off the top of my head).Sucks, I know but it's more important to be safe than eat out or accidentally poison yourself right?“

“Since 2016, when I moved to Gresham, I am a frequent customer. This family owned and operated restaurant makes it hard to resist. They put so much love and heart in creating a perfect breakfast/brunch/lunch experience. The portions are huge, the prices a fair and if you leave there and you’re still hungry, it’s your own fault. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I would give 6/5 stars if I could. Best place.“

“The new owners are making this a great coffee shop. (I don't think the website is fully updated yet, but the coffee shop was sold in late 2023. Some info about that is on the company FB page.) I used to enjoy the old Silk location in town, but rarely went to this location because I just didn't enjoy the space. It was overflowing with all kinds of merchandise and had a very cluttered and chaotic feeling. It's been nice to go now and see the changes and improvements happening to make it better and enjoyable. Keep up the good work! They sell my favorite tea brand, they have an extensive menu so most anyone should be able to find something they enjoy. The owners are fantastic and we've had all good experiences with the other employees.“

“This is one of my favorite places to eat, if you want a recommendation I highly suggest the saute udon with beef (they have vegetarian options if needed). It is amazing, and they are always nice, and take the time to make pretty much everything fresh.“
“This is my husband and my favorite coffee shop. Everything, and I mean everything, we have tried here is spectacular. The service is great and the drinks all taste high quality. Their coffee definitely has a warm blend to it that keeps us coming back for more.“

“Good food and inside the thrift shop. Seems like all cafes these days give a vibe of just order to-go and make room for the next people $$$. But at Monti’s it felt super welcoming and even had a deck of cards on all the tables. This very tiny detail makes a huge difference in feeling like a neighborhood place that cares about experience. I have always loved the market, but it was my first time actually eating at the cafe. Cannot recommend enough.“

“Only place in Portland that I’ve found to have Vietnamese egg coffee. After a recent to Hanoi I’ve been scouring the city and burbs to find my newest addiction. That’s right, egg coffee! The kids here were very friendly and served me a fantastic dose of this wonderful, if rare, drink.I recommend ordering it with black coffee for the real northern Vietnamese version. Sooooo good!“

“I purchased 2 pastries and the white mocha raspberry on ice. Both were absolutely delightful. I admit I ate the almond pastry first, and needed a box for the second. The Marion berry was delicious later as dessert. The service was very courteous and kind.“

“Probably the best mocha I've had at a smaller shop. Couldn't stick around and linger there but considering the area it's in it's very clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. I'm glad it's managed to stay open despite the multiple chain coffee places nearby. If you want a cozy coffee shop and nice coffee, I recommend!“

“I have loved blackrock since 2009 when they opened their first store in Vancouver. They make adorable coffee shops and they make good coffee. They also offer snacks, especially at the sit-down locations. The drive-thru only locations have less snack options, but still make good coffee! I don’t usually wait very long when I go in. Nice people!“

“I've hit up almost all the coffee carts and shops in Parkrose and this place so far has the best coffee! I usually go to Starbies across the street but their drive thru is sometimes packed, so I've been trying out the different carts (even hit up a bikini one by accident!) and I have finally found my favorite. I pass this place when I drive to work but it's easy to miss because it's behind Arbys in the back parking lot. If there's a line it moves pretty fast. The baristas here have all been super sweet and my dogs get treats from them every time. My doodle puppy has even start accepting treats from them when he is usually terribly shy about it. I love their hot white mocha. It is creamy. It is sweet to my liking and it tastes great. My other half loves their Mexican mocha and my middle son said their Cookie Monster blended drink is so good! Everyone here is nice, they take debit cards and they have a stamp card too. I do like coming here and I will keep coming back“

“The kids who work there are a hoot. The atmosphere and decor is obviously invested in and they have a lot of dietary-friendly options too. They change the decorations every season and make a mean aloe juice.Vegetarian options: If you let the barista know they'll help guide ya around milk. No meat in the teas. Lol.“

“My favorite Americano anywhere! I love the flavors that come out with their espresso roast! Always, and I mean 100-out-of-100 times, SUPER FRIENDLY staff! The only reason I'm giving four stars and not five is price. No coffee, regardless of size, should cost $5.00+. (And I know that it's pretty much that way everywhere.) But, I'd be at BR much more often if it weren't for the fact that I'd go broke doing it. It's coffee . . . not a meal.“

“Easy breezy vegetarian and vegan friendly food that I survived on through college. Delicious and friendly staff, kept me alive for 3 years.Vegetarian options: To my knowledge, the sauces are vegetarian, and most of the food is rice bowls!Dietary restrictions: My father has celiac and has never gotten cross contaminated from Cafe Yumm!“
“This awesome coffee shop is very close to my house and I go there if not every single day at least four times a week. I have never had a bad experience and I absolutely love every one of the barista’s. Extremely friendly sweet caring loving and always get the orders right on the nose“

“Absolutely a must visit local cafe with gluten free as well as non-gluten free deliciousness. They have a variety of drinks and pastries/baked goods and also include a lot of savory meal options. The gluten free biscuits and gravy are an instant close-you're-eyes and bask in the magic, experience. Seriously, I dare you to find a gluten free biscuit as fluffy and lovely as the ones at Hope's.Hope and her staff are so incredibly friendly as well, and are so open and easy to chat with. You instantly recognize the hard work that has been put into each and every recipe that is being sold. To quote Hope, she "won't sell anything to someone that she wouldn't deeply appreciate herself."Please visit this gem of a cafe, it will be worth your while.Dietary restrictions: They have a large assortment of milk alternatives. Gluten free as well as vegan options. Not dedicated gluten free though gf options are wrapped to reduce cross contamination.“

“I have been here many times. Coffee drinks are delicious! Matcha is good but nothing special, tastes like a mix but still very good. I've been here a number of times, there's a good atmosphere, it's always bustling, clean, and the service is kind but not memorable (as in it seems like it's not a small business, not very personal). It's an easy place to visit for work or to catch up with a friend! So I keep returning!“
