“Great food, friendly employees, everything you would want, in a Mexican food restaurant. Yummy!!Vegetarian options: No meat in these dishes, but full of good taste.Dietary restrictions: Let them know, what ya need, they will follow along, to fulfill your requested needs.Parking: Harder to get a spot during their busier dinner times, but otherwise, no parking issues.Kid-friendliness: Kid's friendly, atmosphere, in the main restaurant dining room.Wheelchair accessibility: Curbside up to the doors, are flat, up to the doors, for the wheelchair access needs.“
“Dined outside, the food was delicious. The nachos were amazing- generous toppings lots of guacamole and jalapenos and really good chips. Though they didn't have lemonade, the server improvised with real lemon and I think sugar or syrup and it was better than any other lemonade. My boyfriend's daughter had a melted cheese dish that was $8 and she kept saying, "this is better than McDonald's." High praise from an 8 year old!!“
“Had an evening food tasting here - there were several courses of delicious food provided with the experience. We added on the apple cider vinegar drink, which was the right choice to warm us up for the winter food tasting.Although I had noted with my booking that I'm gluten-free, they brought me a few courses with gluten. I had to keep checking and waiting for a revised course to be provided when the mistake was made. If you have a food sensitivity/allergy, keep this in mind and make sure you check with each serving/meal.If you do a group booking, make sure to let them know you want separate servings as they were bringing us one plate for each course for our group, until we asked them to bring us separate ones. Considering the food tasting is an expensive experience and they charge per person, this was the first time I was brought a single plate/serving for a group booking.“
“A unique touch on Mexican which tasted fantastic. First time eating out dinner in Portland and no regrets. The service was amazing and the waiters knew the menu very well. Definitely a place worthy of booking! We ordered the full menu and every dish was very well plated. The chicken and the birria were the highlights for me but worthy of trying the entire menu!“
“Since they're situated at a gas station, I can't give them full marks for "atmosphere," but they do the best they can. however, the food and service were both outstanding. This food is really, really good. Will definitely put in our regular take-out rotation.Dietary restrictions: One gluten-free and dairy-free eater here, and they accommodated the DF without issue. Delicious!“
“This place is so good!!! We got the chicken burrito and steak burrito. They were big enough to split between the 3 of us. The taste of them both were top notch. Seriously excellent taste. Fresh handmade tortillas??? Yo, you’re trippin if you think this place is mid. Will definitely be coming back to try the habanero sauce. Tried the red and green and was blown away with the flavor for both. Highly recommend!!!“
“We chose Guero to meet friends for my birthday dinner. We wanted easy, not overpriced and excellent food. They were very accommodating as our party number grew while we waited for a table as more people showed we weren’t expecting. Staff offered to put our cake in the refrigerator for after dinner — so kind, and even sang to me and lit a candle when they brought the cake out. I may have turned bright red ?The food and drink were delicious and the service superb. Thank you for helping end my birthday Sunday with a lovely time at your fine establishment.“
“The eating area is shared by other food carts, so it can get a bit tight if you decide to eat there when it's busy. But if you're looking for a big delicious and affordable burrito that's gonna fill you up, this is the place to go.“
“The taquitos here are delicious, made with fresh ingredients, seasoned perfectly, and balanced with some veggies and pickled onions. If you come at lunch hour, there can be a bit of a wait as they get a lot of regulars, but it's well worth it, or you can order online.“
“My husband and I were visiting Portland for a basketball game and we decided to stop here the morning after. We arrived early right before the lunch rush. The food was amazing and the owners/ workers showed great hospitality. Food also came quick! Will definitely be back!“
“As a Mexican-American taco enthusiast, stumbling upon El Yucateco Food Cart was a revelation. Initially drawn by my love for tacos, I was skeptical when my Midwestern friend recommended I try their panuchos. However, one bite was all it took to convert me into a devoted panucho aficionado. My first foray into panuchos left me with a pang of regret for not ordering more. Since that fateful day, I've become a regular patron, making the pilgrimage to El Yucateco whenever my cravings strike. The staff, with their warm smiles and genuine hospitality, only add to the experience.I must commend the staff's attentiveness, as they not only cater to my cravings but also ensure my friends are well taken care of. I couldn't help but chuckle when they graciously offered chips to my friend as she attempted to salvage the remnants of her vegetarian panuchos with her fingers. I can’t blame her though, that avocado salsa is like liquid heaven!“
“this place is awesome!! Guilhermo is an incridible owner and the food is the best food in town. There's no way to go wrong with thier carne assada guys!! whatever you buy from here you won't regret.Kid-friendliness: every time I get my kids in, we have no complaints.“
“I went to the food cart location and saw they now have gone brick and mortar. How exciting!! I had their street tacos and some Birria Consomé. Sooo super yummy!!There was plenty of parking and it is wheelchair accessible. The place looks clean. Hands down, these are the best street tacos I've ever had!“
“As a SoCal native living in the beautiful PNW, I would be lying if I said I didn't miss great Mexican food. Thank goodness I've found the wonderful folks at Taqueria la Marquesa!! Tortilla? Bomb. Rice? Bomb. Beans? Bomb. Salsas? Bomb. I can go on, but check it out for yourself. Super friendly staff, great chefs. I got the rice, cheese, and bean burrito. Added some sour cream, jalapenos, and french fries. Tried all their salsas, as well as my husband's Loco Burrito. Everything was delicious. We were in heaven! At ten weeks pregnant, I needed this! ?“
“The food quality is good, but the size of the breakfast burritos leave something to be desired, and I am a small person so I don't eat much. Would have been better if they put potatoes in it to bulk it up a little. The people working in there are nice and the lattes and food are good though. I would go back.“
“We live near the French Quarter food cart pod and Taco Express is a cart that we frequent every time we come (and that's often)! The kids love the breakfast burrito, their tacos are delicious, and seriously the fries are the best of anywhere in the Village! Friendly service and convenient hours. Love this place!“
“Cleaned good inside &out with good helpful working guy at register ; with good cook that’s a guy or girl. My first time here definitely won’t be my last. Good yummy in my tummy food and beverages; affordable and worth every penny. Thanks for good service Smart Donkey , keep up the good work.“
“The best Mexican food cart by far. I always get tacos and they've never let me down. Super quick and delicious every time. The man running the cart is always very nice and sometimes gives me extra food. This is always my go-to when I'm craving Mexican food.“
“Nested in a nice food park, Saint Burrito has delicious burritos and friendly service. Ordered carnitas which was flavorful and had a slight crunchy texture from the searing. ? I also ordered the harbanero salsa but thought it would be a bit more spicy as a good middle ground of the choices. ALTHOUGH!, the salsa has a fantastic authentic roasted texture and color which I absolutely love. Will be returning.“
“Best Portland Mexican food! Bold statement, yes but I’ve lived in Portland for over a decade and feel confident in my statement. Por Que No consistently serves great tacos, guac, and margaritas. What else do you need to know. Carnitas are great. Love the vibe, the salsa, it’s just good. If you haven’t been there, make the trip. Love this place.“
“BEST vegan tacos and vegan burritos I've had in the city!!! The tortillas for the tacos were the best tortillas I've ever had in my whole life and I've eaten a lot of Mexican food. The habanero salsa is a spice lover's dream come true. Can't wait to go back. What an absolute gem.“
“Wow wow wow! My buddy and I moved to Portland from Texas and New Mexico a year ago and we’ve been craving a taste of authentic Mexican and what better than homemade handmade local tamales. Hands down, the best we’ve ever had! We were surprised by the price at first but boy do they give you your money’s worth. You’ll be full off the first 2! Recommend the chicken and the cheese ones. Burrito was amazing and huge too especially for just $2! And the SALSA! F**k Yes! Finally good homemade salsa! Eat at and Support Los Tamales Locos and save me some!“
“This is a great neighborhood taqueria. The prices are really good for the quality of the food and the spices on the Al Pastor are some of the best I've had. Burrito bowls are my jam and this burrito bowl is seriously legit. Salsas are also great.“
“I was in Portland from out of state for a conference and Tacos Frita catered one of the meals. I loved their vegan and gluten free tacos and the pinto beans were the best I've had. I had to have their food again so I went to the food truck. Very nice people, great customer service!“
“I’m here at least once a week! I can’t get enough! Great tacos and sides! Wonderful atmosphere and excellent service.A great place to dine alone or with your friends /family. The staff and food are pure gems. I will always get my tacos here.❤️“
“The tacos are really tasty (though I have only had the al pastor and chicken), I imagine the others are good as well. The Keto tacos are unique being a fired cheese shell, and are really good. The guacumole is chucky and plentiful both on the side or with their tasty nachos. The Mexican fried rice is a combination Spanish rice and Asian fried rice, very different and good. The burrito takes 2 hands to hold, it is big, also flavorful. I highly recommend eating here, I do at least once a week. The owners are also really nice people!“
“Yummy yummy Mexican food I'm from so moving out here to WA it was very hard to find a really yummy Mexican spot and I'm 100% sure I finally found it. Yummy tender meat great homemade tortillas and yummy Carne Friess !!! 100% a loyal customer love love love. Even more better the people here are really nice !“
“I am not an expert on Mexican food, but I lived in NorCal long enough to have eaten a few (hundred) burritos and tacos and Ole Ole is awesome. Yummy and very reasonably priced. I've eaten there twice and will be eating there many times in the future. $9 burritos and $3 dollar tacos with loads and meat, flavor, and yumminess.“
“This unassuming shop in a strip mall is quietly serving food that makes it a contender for one of the best Mexican food spots in Oregon City. The Oregon City burrito or the supreme will hit the spot every time. If you have time to sit down, get a full meal with the beans and rice.“
“This is the greatest burrito in all of Oregon. I was lost and now I am found. As soon as I took my first bite a single tear formed in my eye, tastiness like I had never known surged through my body. I tried to take a photo but we ate the burritos with such speed that it was simply impossible. The food, the salsa, the atmosphere and the service was the best of anything I've tried in all of Oregon. Please do yourself a favor and go to Taqueria El Paisano.“
“A good alternative to the popular chain Mexican place down the street. The food is fresh, tasty and you have options of burritos, tacos, bowls and taco bowl. The guy who served my food was super sweet. I feel the price is really good especially downtown which is getting pricey for lunch. I had a carne asada bowl and it was plenty of food and good for my tummy. No extra charge to add guac too! I would come here again and try the other dishes.“
“Best Mexican restaurant ever.this place was more than I possibly imagined.this place is the pinnacle of culinary creation.love and passion served on a plate.as a sous chef this place motivated and inspired me,food can be so much more than just something you eat.its and experience,an adventure“
“Mi amigo Paquito es excelente en su trabajo! Su comida tiene un muy rico sabor y los tacos están de rechupete!!A mi me encantan sus hamburguesas hacen una súper especial. Visiten el lugar . Paquito es muy amable y tiene un excelente sentido del humor.“
“i recently moved to the pnw from being born and raised in southern california, so i know my taco shops. ever since i got up here i've been looking for a GOOD place to get my fix. tried multiple places and they've ranged from just plain bad to "that'll do for now."was in this general area and figured i'd check this place out after reading the reviews.this is now my go-to. fantastic food, nice portions, good prices. even the hot sauce is way above average in flavor.hands down the best taco shop food i've had since i moved....and honestly rivals some of the places in san diego.highly recommended.“
“Awesome food!! The owner was also SO friendly and kind, she greeted me with a huge smile. The food portions are quite generous and delicious! The kimchi is also super bubbly and fresh I couldn’t get enough. The prices are also the best I saw among all the others. For the quality, amount of food and super friendly owner I can definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back!! 맛있어요!“
“Fun food cart in north Sellwood with several picnic tables to sit and eat at. A couple nice vegan options (black bean & corn or avocado & beet). The salsas were a great side- highly recommend, but beware of the orange one which was quite spicy!“
“The best Burritos in Portland? Absolutely!! I lived in southern CA for 25 years and this is the most authentic burrito I’ve had here in Portland. The midtown beer garden where they’re located is great as well. Go check them out you will not be disappointed“
“You know how you usually think of tamales as dry and generally lacking flavor? NOT this place!!! I've had their mole and their verde chicken tamales, and both are tender, moist, and PACKED full of flavor. I can't say enough good things about this food cart. The home made tortillas they use for their tacos are probably one of the best things I've put into my mouth and their al pastor was juicy, flavorful, and delicious. The lady working the food cart was amazing, gave me a complementary taste of their hibiscus agua fresca, and encouraged me to take a load off in their cute little outdoor space. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won't regret it!!“
“This is hands down one of the best mexican food trucks I have tried out here in Portland. It's authentic, service is wonderful, and it tastes great every single time. This is literally my go to spot for tacos, chilaquiles, morisqueta and milanesa. They just added asada fries and it's *chef kiss* amazing. A true hidden gem in the NW Portland area.“
“This place is amazing! Someone clearly put their heart into making the interior feel like you were dining in an outdoor pavilion in Mexico. It is intricately detailed and decorated. The service is fantastic, and it's some of the best Mexican food I've had in Portland. Highly recommend dining here.“
“Food was great, a decent beer & cider on tap selection. Service was quick and welcoming. Got 4 of the street tacos, they use one tortilla instead of two but very filling if you get 4-6. Prices were standard. The nacho platter was $12.5] but it was mountain with great toppings.“
“I have stopped by this resturant on several occasions for food deliveries. I was finally able to stop by and boy was I Glad. I love supporting local businesses, especially mom and pop restaurants. I ordered their Taco special...2 Carnitas and 1 Lengua. Fresh ingredients ..good flavor and excellent service. I will be back! Thank you for your delicious food. Stay blessed.“
“Highly recommend. Possibly the best Hispanic food I’ve EVER had. The tortillas were great, bread for the Torta was Definitely the best I’ve ever had. Not so soft that it falls apart, slight crunch. Tacos didn’t skimp on meat. Tender and flavorful no matter what one you get. The rice was also the best I’ve had. Moist and full of flavor. Found my new spot. Gotta get some churros and elotes. Price is comparable to any other truck and at times cheaper.“
“Amazing tacos! Filled to the brim with Carne Asada…wonderful salas. Very nice people…great customer service. She wrapped my tacos beautifully so I could tuck them under my cycling jacket and transport them safely home where I devoured them.“
“Fresh and delicious! Chess Tacos took over the space that used to be El Diablito which had some of the best tacos in Portland [just my opinion] so they had big shoes to fill and did not disappoint.I tried the Pollo Burrito and really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and quick. The burrito is loaded with fresh ingredients, the chicken cooked perfectly, and great flavor! The chips are fresh and crisp, the perfect addition to the burrito. The avocado sauce is a bit meh, but other than that it's all delicious. I will be back to try some of their other salsas and some tacos! Will update once I've tried more, but it was a very pleasant first visit. I took my order to go but there are picnic tables with umbrellas or a few bar seats on the deck if you want to hangout for a bit to enjoy your food.“
“This restaurant was lovely. The food was fresh, and the flavors were reminiscent of TexMex. I had a chicken enchilada with cheese and a lovely red sauce on top. Absolutely delicious. The salsa reminded me of salsa I used to get growing up in Texas.“
“From the moment we stepped into Todo Taco, we knew we were in for a treat. The highlight of our dining experience had to be the phenomenal birria tacos. Each bite was a perfect blend of flavors, making them some of the best we’ve ever savored. But let's not stop there; the chicken wings were unlike any other I've had in Portland – perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a flavor that keeps you coming back for more. The margaritas deserve a special mention as well. Handcrafted with precision, each sip was a refreshing blend of quality ingredients, proving that the art of a great margarita hasn't been lost. Additionally, the salsa selection was on point, offering a variety of options to complement every dish with just the right kick. The ambiance of Todo Taco was made even more enjoyable by the fantastic bartender who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Their friendly and attentive service added a personal touch to our visit, making us feel truly welcomed. In conclusion, if you find yourself in Portland and in search of an exceptional dining experience, Todo Taco is a must-visit. Whether it’s for the mouthwatering birria tacos, the exceptional chicken wings, the handcrafted margaritas, or the inviting atmosphere, you're in for a real treat. Go and see for yourself why Todo Taco is a cut above the rest!“
“Food prices are not correct on yelp, they are quite a bit more than what is listed here. Service was good, food took awhile - but was super fresh and super hot... yummmmm! Ambiance is a little sketchy and the parking in this little strip mall is a nightmare.“
“I grew up in San Diego eating Mexican food probably every day; this place is the best! I don't know how they make it, but their steak/ carne asada burritto is the best thing I've ever had. They make it crunchy somehow, Also, I never had it until i ate here, but you must try the Chomoloko!“
“Delicious and the atmosphere was so clean and inviting! Everyone was friendly! We saw crowds of families, people on a date and teenagers there as well. Truly a great place for everyone!Kid-friendliness: Fast and delicious! Easy to accommodate requests for kiddos.“
