“Love love love EVERYTHING about Sushi Mazi. Food, absolutely delicious! My most favorites are classic aged ahi tuna, blue fin tuna top with black garlic, salmon skin appetizer and sushi salad. Will be able to stop in Portland without coming here. I understand why they have so many regulars, the staffs and owners are so warm and wonderful. Recommend trying their wide range of sake. Cheers!“
“I lived in Vietnam for 3 years and as soon as I walked in, it felt like “ home” (I was born there but raised in the states) The sights, sounds and smells brought me back. This unassuming no frills family run humble place only serves 2 soups a day (3 on wed) but does them well. Come early before they run out because even though it says they’re open until 4, they often run out by noon. I’ve been twice. Once on a Friday at noon and was one of the last ones to order the pho ga. On a Wednesday we went at 11am and they only had one out of the 3 soups left. Will plan accordingly next time. Anxious to try their sister establishments. I briefly spoke to Peter and had a lovely chat. He works diligently to accommodate his customers and is consistent with the quality of his food. “Went here the other night for the first time in a while, for dinner. I was warmly greeted upon entry and directed to seating. Excellent vibes and nice decor. We ordered the appetizer combo and chicken satay to start. I had the evil jungle noodle medium spicy. It was as delicious as I remember. One of my friends had the tom yum with shrimp and said they were very pleased with it. Good prices for downtown and generous portions. Great service! Definitely recommend this place! Parking can be tricky as it sits on a busy corner of 2 one-way streets, but if you dont mind walking a block or 2, youll be fine.“

Plus, they really care about the visuals - they made beets look like blood! March was the month highlighting Isaan, the chef’s hometown in Northern Thailand, we really get a taste of his childhood, very nostalgic.I look forward to the month where the menu is unapologetically Thai! AMAZINGBEST I HAVE EVER HAD-Salad Rolls w/peanut sauce 5/5*obviously made fresh maybe to order. Crisp vegetables, light flavor, slightly chewy wrap. Peanut sauce was on point, not that sweetened garbage some places pass off as peanut sauce. Real deal holifield. PERFECT-Vietnamese Iced Coffee 5/5enough caffine that I am writing this, not to sweet and rich coffee flavor. Vegetarians and meat eaters all have options. I had a craving for their meatball sub after reading how it morphed from a traditional sausage & pepper sandwich. Real tortillas on the burritos, amazing mole sauce, multiple veggie/plant-based options that are not just an afterthought, and a full salsa bar. I also enjoyed the horchata. “Absolute perfection. I recently moved from Seattle and have been trying to find the good pho spots here in Portland. Everything about this place is excellent: the service, timeliness, atmosphere, and, my goodness - the pho. The first sip of the broth was like getting a warm hug from the inside out. Wonderful flavors. The large bowl was HUGE and arrived super fast. Perfect level of staff interaction: not too much, not too little. The place was pretty packed when I went, with a super diverse crowd of people which I always consider a good sign. Absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go back.“
“I've been here a couple of times now and will say their food is an awesome quality and I feel a good value for what you get.The first time I tried their roast beef and cheddar melt with loaded potato soup and the second time I got a smash burger with a ridiculously large amount of fries. “Delicious, but slow. First, this is an indoor "cart pod" facility and Coco Garden is over off the options. There is a performance venue, and lots of tables. It is like a mall food court, but in a good way. A Thai place inside Zed, they have an extensive set of gluten free options. I got pineapple curry and my husband got pineapple fried rice (see the theme?) I also got Thai ice tea. All tasty and worthwhile. I was sad that the ice tea was made with half and half, rather than coconut milk, but I also didn't ask if I could have a substitute. The only downside was how long the food took. Our party ordered from multiple locations. The others had finished their meal before ours was ready. So, give it a try, just need prepared to wait.“

Don't skip out on the cookies they're soft, and they really hit the spot for that post-meal sweets craving. “I wanted to try a new place for date night and picked a good one. The food was excellent, the service was warm. I made a reservation for the purple room which has about 4 small tables. There is another room that has more tables and a bar. The restaurant is on the second floor of a converted house. I don't think they have an elevator, so you're aware. We got mostly what the waiter recommended. The chicken liver mousse tart was savory and delicate, crust being flaky and good contrast to the vinaigretted frissee. The grilled cauliflower still had crunch and umami. I picked the duck confit which had delicious crispy crust and a slight sweet, salty sauce. My husband had the pork coppa which is a braised pork shoulder over a sauce with delicious huge beans. I thought all the food was outstanding, the presentation was great and flavors well balanced. Ended the night with an almond flour orange cake, not too sweet. I might have skipped that one because the gelee was a little tart and cake a denser than expected. The waiter was great at helping us navigate the menu. I liked all the choices available and can't wait to try more of them. I don't think there is a wrong choice here. Their menu options rotate.“
