They are working very hard to provide a creative, upscale, and authentic Thai food experience that is on another level from what you can get on a regular basis. The flavors are not tailored to an American palate.It is also quite expensive, one of the more expensive restaurants I have eaten at. The food is very good and the experience is unique, but be warned it is extremely expensive. Our bill came to almost 500 dollars for 2 people.I feel like it's also worth noting that some of the food is very spicy. Thai food is spicy, so this is a good thing, but be ready. This is a tasting menu, so you can't really substitute or order other things if you can't eat spicy food.Lastly, I was somewhat disappointed in the wine pairing. The cocktails here are exceptional, though, so next time, I would try those for the money you would spend on the wine pairing. I was a bit dubious at first because the atmosphere is pretty boring and it's not much to look at, but as soon as our food came out, I was hooked! The spring rolls are cooked to perfection, the salad rolls are my favorite in town with delicious fresh, crunchy vegetables inside as well as tender prawns and pork. My vermicelli bowl was tasty, but the Thai food is really what put it over the top for me. The Tom Kha Soup is delightful, the Pad Woosen is my favorite, and the Pad Kee Mao is great too. I will eventually try more dishes, but I think I've ordered those every time I've been because they're are so good. The service is always great, and the guy is pretty funny if you get his sense of humor.
