“Things to dig about the Record Pub: - Music for every type of listener. -Bar to sit down for a drink and think about what records you need to add to your arsenal. -Staff to talk about your selections with. -Educated suggestions for additional beats based upon the ensuing conversation of music you’ll have with the bartender. -Finishing another beverage all happy and giddy about the new vinyl you’re taking home.“
“Went here for the first time on Tuesday. Great spot for beer in a charming old house! The staff was very nice and I could tell they take a lot of pride in the beautiful space they've created. And Erica's Soul Food cart on the back patio was Delicious!“
“Despite the restaurant being quaint, the energy inside is electric! The posters on the wall are just so cool, my friends and I tried to identify all the movies (and dramas?) we've watched. And the food is so delicious! We had the corn dogs which were delicious, and the tteokbokki was amazing! We also ordered the spicy sweet and regular soy garlic chicken and they were really good, too. I think the spicy sweet could be a little spicier as well. And the bossam! I still think about it at times. It was delicious! I want to go back ASAP.“
“I got the Paloma, Forager pizza, and the artichoke dip.10/10. Don’t sleep on this spot!Hands down the best artichoke dip. Creamy, full of veggies, and so tasty.Pizza was awesome. I personally love Detroit style pizza but I’ve never had one with an oil instead of sauce on top. SOO good! The crust has a crunchy outside throughout which is sometimes not the case at other establishments.Paloma was top notch. Loved our first visit, can’t wait to come back.“
“This is one of the BEST local taphouses in Beaverton. There are always so many great choices for beer, seltzers, ciders and wine. You can bring outside food in. So go down to the food carts, grab a meal and enjoy the best beers in town at CST.“
“Delicious fish & chips, and we had excellent, speedy and attentive service in an awesome atmosphere with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Good draft beer selection. Only one cider on tap unfortunately. Food was a bit pricier than we expected for a brewpub kind of place but delicious and we were happy with our experience nonetheless. We would definitely return!“
“Years ago I worked with Bill at Hayden's and only recently learned this was his place. Last night I finally got to get there for a take out dinner and it was AWESOME! Great job Team. We will definitely be back. ps - How did you get the bread on the Hall Street Italian SO PERFECTLY TOASTED?!?! And my son loved the Cheesy Garlic Bread. Great Portions for the price! thank you thank you“
“I love going into the Stone, especially when Amelia is working. She is such a gem of a woman. Always fun, engaging with interesting conversations and makes me feel safe going there by myself. The drink specials are always inventive, delicious, and the food is killer.“
“Prices were spot on! A flight was only $10. My favorites were the cherry limeade and the pumpkin spice. They have board games to play and a couple arcade games. It was incredibly busy when we went. Seating is indoor and covered outdoor. This place does not serve food, it's either bring in your own or get delivery from near by places. Definitely will be visiting again.“
“Picked this place because reviews said it was dog friendly. Pizza was REALLY good and it made for a filling affordable lunch. Dogs enjoyed the patio. My server Becky did a great job keeping my drinks filled and checking in on me. I will be returning!“
“At least 20 ciders on tap. Wide variety of styles and tastes. Most are apple-based, but a number are blends with other things. Some of the ciders, have no apple in them at all.A very enjoyable place, and for what I tasted the ciders were very good!“
“I came to Hops on Tap to see a band perform. As a concert venue, Hops on Tap does a great job! The band sets up in a large area in one of the "main corners" of the venue, and all tables have a good view. The interior is also very brightly-lit, which is appreciated. There are shelves with lots of board and card games, and several patrons come regularly to enjoy music and play games. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and you may see a radio-controlled R2D2 make an appearance at the end of the night. Food is serviceable, but is nothing noteworthy. The soft pretzel is clearly a SuperPretzel, and a lot of what's on the menu, and things like napkins, etc. appear to come from Costco. Not that there's anything wrong with this, of course, and I'll probably opt for something different than a sandwich on my next visit (perhaps their "scratch-made" soup). I was very happy that Hops on Tap offers Kombucha on-tap as well. Parking is very simple as Hops on Tap is in a very large shopping center with its own equally large parking lot. If you want a good place to see live music, Hops on Tap fits the bill nicely!“
“The Firkin Tavern is hands-down one of the coolest spots in town, especially on nights when my band, Izy Kactus, hits the stage. It’s like this hidden gem that just explodes with energy and good vibes every time we play. The place packs out, creating this electric atmosphere that’s hard to find anywhere else. What sets The Firkin Tavern apart isn’t just the crowds, though. The bartenders are legends—quick with a drink, always smiling, and somehow make you feel like you’re the only person they’re serving, even when the place is bursting at the seams. It's the kind of service that makes a night unforgettable. But it's more than just a bar; it's a community hub. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from; the moment you step through those doors, you're part of the Firkin family. It’s got this great neighborhood vibe that’s welcoming to everyone, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out or to catch some live music.Whether you're there for the tunes, the drinks, or the company, The Firkin Tavern delivers. It’s become our go-to spot not just for gigs but for any night we want to guarantee a good time. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on one of the best experiences the city has to offer.“
“If you haven't had Blind Satyr beer, you don't know what you're missing! Don't expect floofy apricot infused kombucha brews. The beer here is pure, unadulterated goodness that pairs well with a good ribeye and doesn't leave you with a sugar hangover. looking forward to trying more of their amazing brews!“
“Breakfast is decent. The wait to get your food isn't long at all, average on a very busy day. This place is frequently wall to wall packed. Very kind service, it feels like a family owned environment. I wish they had more selection for breakfast. There isn't much selection“
“The vibe of this spot is wonderful. ??☂️Walked in on an early cold & cloudy Saturday afternoon. The woody rock ? classic tavern vibes had me feeling at home. Had no problem knocking clean a whole turkey reuben and coke.Could sit and digest before heading out, even when it got busy. Noticed almost everyone else had ordered reubens too. ?*Worked at a restaurant in Florida for some years and folks loved our reubens, but they don't come close to these. ✅“
“Barleycorn," of course, refers to the barley used in malt liquor. And aren't we glad it does? Inside John Barleycorns, you'll find a nice, dark, cozy space — topped by a dramatic cathedral ceiling — and McMenamins-strength ales and spirits. Outside, the terrace is surrounded by a garden.Stop by with family and friends for a pint or two, handcrafted in-house.Happy Happy Hour 2-5 everyday“
“I truly love this place. Both Andy and Dennis (owners) are solid guys and always are friendly. As is Matt when he fills in. There's always a great selection of beers and cider on tap and they just added some Monster malt beverages. They don't have food but do have vendors that come with a food truck and you can bring your own food in. They do have chips and other snacks however. Overall a great place to sit and relax.“
“Paddy's is a straight 10 in my book, these guys know how to make drinks better than anyone in town. They set a high standard that you just can't get anywhere else. The personalities here are always a good vibe, some good lighthearted banter is always welcome. You bet I'll be back as soon as I can. Thank yall for a great time.“
“It was so good I didn't even take pictures of it before I started digging in. The toast was perfect (weird place to start, I know, but I saved it for last, so it's freshest in my memory). Nice variety of little smuckers jellies. Hashbrowns were crispy on the top, my favorite texture for hashbrowns. Eggs were scrambled perfectly, not runny and not overcooked. Corned beef hash was good, I like mine a bit crisper than it was, but that's personal preference and not reflection on the cook. Music was on point.Service was really friendly and thoughtful. We walked in on accident, we were following Google maps to another restaurant nearby and didn't pay attention to where the place was, but it worked out. ?“
“The best beer bar in Portland as far as I'm concerned.Welcoming atmosphere, friendly peeps, and GREAT beers, both on tap and packaged. Prices are extremely reasonable. There's usually a 3rd party food vendor, but you can also bring your own. And they've been open everyday for the last 5000+ days!If you like beer and/or bar culture, you should have already visited this place. But if you haven't, there's no time like the present!“
“This is a great community dive bar. It’s clean, the staff are great and the food is tasty (and at a relatively good price). Their pancakes are fluffy and delicious.Vegetarian options: You can request no bacon/meat on a lot of their dishes to make them vegetarian. My wife loves their breakfast burrito and short stack.“
“The three bar backs Jonathan, Kevin and Savanah killed it both Monday and Tuesday night I came for food and brews. The brewery was super busy but never felt unattended. Highly recommend this place. If I’m back in the Portland area I will be back.“
“Another cozy and unique theater! This building is artwork. Everywhere you look there's something that catches the eye. There's a restaurant attached to it as well so you can get food delivered to you while you watch the movie if you didn't grab any before hand. If you do this option you'll have to sit up stairs. It's fun though especially if you get the seats right at the edge. P.S. there is a restroom on this floor, if you are looking at the screen its on the right hand side.I love their popcorn, pretzels w/ cheese sauce and a pitcher of cider. They usually have three options to choose from.Every time I go, people are pleasant and it's a joy to talk to them.Side note: If you haven't been to McMenamins locations before all the ones I've been to are so much fun. So much detail goes into their spaces and it's always an adventure.I can't wait till next time.Cheers ?“
“Fun atmosphere with lots of TV’s for all of the football. Portable, lottery and pinball. Simple eats but good. Bar was quick and solid. Bartender was friendly and service was him and also good. We had cocktails and nachos and watched some football. Nice stop in after walking around Multnomah Village. Food carts down the street. Parking is a bit dicey with no parking lot but we lucked out with parking right in front. Tons of pedestrians so keep an eye out.“
“We came in to order a couple of pizzas for takeout. The bartender working was pretty nice and took our food order and beverage order as we waited for the pizzas. We ordered the combo and Hawaiian pizzas. Both pizzas came out in good time and were decent.“
“Hands down, best Prime Rib Dip (French Dip)of my life. Could take or leave the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. But the prime rib dip so far out shadows the mediocrity of the sides that it deserves a 5/5. The huckleberry lemon drop was also exceptional and the vodka tonic fully met my expectations. But the Tuesday special prime rib dip was so good I’ll be back just for that! Service was also exceptionally responsive.Parking: Easy to find a spot on a Tuesday night“
“Met old friends here, they recommended the fish and chips, possibly the best I have ever had! One giant piece of fresh fish in a crisp batter.Parking: We parked two blocks away on the street, I could see it being more of an issue at popular times.“
“We were in the area and looking for a breakfast place. We had a great experience here. We will definitely be back when in the area. Casual environment with friendly employees. Menu is straightforward and reasonable prices. Food was good and seemed fresh.“
“I wish I could give the Atmosphere 10 stars. This place is such a vibe. This spot was recommended so I stopped in to try to get my brewery’s beer on draft, and I chatted with Mattias (sp?) the bartender. But absolutely love the cozy atmosphere, the music, the fireplace on one tv and ski videos on another. I can tell the backyard must be a hit in summer! Can’t wait to come back.“
“Always a great time. Bartenders are always attentive and friendly, even during shift change. They actually smile at you. Brickyard has a couple dart boards, a couple pool tables and some gambling machines. The food when we have ordered aHas tasted yummy, not like old grease, like some bar food. They have an awesome selection of beers and liquors. They carry an array of seltzer flavors too which Is big for me. Bathrooms are never disgusting. Back patio is kept nice. It’s a nice area with convenient parking and not a lot of weird ppl hanging out. We go often and plan on being back soon.“
“A straightforward spot in a fun but not crazy location. The real sell for me is the pizza and I am not easily impressed by pizza in the PNW. More of a Detroit style but absolutely delicious. I would love to return on a sunny day on the patio !Vegetarian options: I almost never find a vegetarian pie with red sauce which is all I want out of life honestly“
“The sandwiches and burgers here are so phenomenal I've been thinking about them for days after. There are a variety of beer styles -- not just IPAs -- and the beers on tap are excellent. If you're looking for a large tap list or frequent new things to try this isn't the place to go.“
“They were very accommodating we took our 81 year old dad for his birthday. First they made sure that the seating was OK for him not to cold or not on the high seats. Then we had the best waitress her name was Rebecca R she was so nice and very attentive and she was busy seen her everywhere plus it was a Friday night. I just had to say something because lately my husband and I have been going out every weekend and the service has been terrible. Thank you for my dads birthday special Tina“
“Friendly, welcoming atmosphere with great food and service!! Charming decor and the service I seen and received here has been completely impressive!! Having worked in restaurants and bars when I was younger I know how challenging it can be so I appreciate the efficiency and accuracy d=(^.^)“
“Found this little place when looking for a local speakeasy or bar that had absinthe. I was pleased that they did serve it, but in a mixed drink. I asked if I could have it served traditionally, and with a pineapple juice chaser. I got the 2 oz that were left in their only bottle. I'm guessing they don't have a dripper brouilleur, since a quad dripper fountain was brought to our table. After receiving the pineapple juice chaser, I enjoyed my drink very much. I appreciate the bartender's willingness to try something new and the good service by all employees. The food was standard fare and everything was reasonably priced. Nice, low-light atmosphere. We'll probably be back when they've procured another bottle of absinthe.“
“Visited for the first time and it was awesome. The beer is awesome as expected. I had mac & cheese with fried chicken that was delicious atmosphere was really cool with all of the wooden inlays. I can’t recall his name, but the bartender with a beard was super nice and helpful. overall, can’t ask for much more. Would 100% return and recommend to anyone.“
“Really tasty pizza! I had the vegetarian with blue cheese, apple and hazelnut, and it was so so good. Took it over to Proper Pint next door to watch the Timbers game. Highly recommend ?Vegetarian options: Vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Vegan options“
“Had a wonderful dinner here the other day! We sat at the bar & was met with exceptional service from the bartender. He made sure we were taken cared of & not forgotten. The Bloody Mary he whipped up was delicious! The pasta I got was also great & so were the fried pickle spears(seasonal menu item). My bf got the burger & he said it was good. Great place for a lil date night or a girls night!“
“The food is always spot on and this is definitely a restaurant to frequent! The BLT with a slab of fried Monterey Jack is to die for. I am not a fan of forced gratuity in the form of a "service charge". The servers tend to congregate around the bar and chit chat rather than checking on tables. I sat in the lounge and waited over 10 minutes having to flag my server down mid-conversation with the bartender for a water refill. This makes the "service charge" a harder pill to swallow.“
“Amazing spot super chill this place has everything, locals, bamboo plants and foliage on the patio, heaters outside, plastic chairs that look like wood, quiet time, sports games on the screens, hipsters who bring their own pool ques, video lottery in a dark place and wood tables that look like survivors from hurricane Katrina. This bar begs the question did you you come here to drink or to feel alive.“
“Always enjoy going to C I. Always make a point to stop in when I'm in town. Sadly can longer take my father do to age. He loved going just as much. If you can make it over, I highly recommend it. The Nachos are always fantastic. Prices are not high at all, very reasonable. The employees are just as fantastic and do care. Keep up the awesome work.“
