“Came here late night after a photoshoot in the city. Treated the people I was with to a nice meal. I called to see if there was a wait. The person on the phone was very helpful and it was not busy, so we could get in. They greeted us very kindly and sat us upstairs. My only complaint is that the fans made it cold after coming in from rainy weather. I suggest coming here during (Happy Hour) as the food and drinks are very pricey, but understandable as the quality of the food was worth it. The house made tortillas were warm and delicious. The queso, salmon, and guacamole appetizers were delicious and filling. Pineapple Margarita hit the spot. All the tacos they have are superb. Very delicious late evening option if you want quality food.“

Let me preface this review by saying I love Nashville Hot Chicken but outside of Nashville, TN is has been difficult to find a "hot" chicken that compares to what I've had in Tennessee. Some other places around the Burgh have Nashville Hot Chicken but the spice combinations don't work. At Gordo's the Nashville Hot Chicken Taco is so good with a perfect spice blend. It tastes like hot chicken tacos that I had at Pie Town Tacos in Nashville. Gordo's is the place in Pittsburgh to satisfy your hot chicken craving. Not to mention, their other menu items are delicious too. And they have great margs. My second favorite menu item is the Churoli- A churro and cannoli hybrid that rocks!“

“Can't wait to go back - and it will be soon! The tacos were wonderful with tender meats; asada, birria, lingua, and el pastor. Sides of cilantro, onion, salsas, and lime were served. The elote was delicious and with the just the right amount of fixings. We stumbled across this place on the afternoon of the eclipse and the weather was nice enough to enjoy an outside table. The street was so quiet, with very little traffic except for the street cars that ventured by so we enjoyed the sunbathed table whilst we enjoyed lunch and watched the eclipse. The service was friendly and attentive. This place took us back to the great places we frequent when in Mexico. We're so lucky to have this authentic place here in Pittsburgh. “We were there yesterday for Valentine’s Day dinner and the food was excellent. They have so many vegan / vegetarian options which was helpful.I loved everything I ordered but especially their vegan chorizo taco. Love the lime kick in it. It was truly love at first bite.The waitron was very sweet and checked on us only when needed unlike many places where they keep intruding. Loved the atmosphere too!Vegetarian options: They had so many vegetarian and vegan options compared to many other restaurants. They have at least 6-7 in their menu itself and a few others that can be made vegetarian / vegan“

“Ordered a Bellevue bowl and a mojitoThe Bellevue bowl was fantastic, and the turnaround time from ordering was only around 5 minutes which was awesome, and I'll definitely be returning either to dine in with friends or pickup a Bellevue bowl for takeout.The mojito on the other hand was pretty weak, in more ways than one. It came out with no mint in it and no minty flavor, and when I asked for some extra mint the waitress (who was excellent) let me know that they used a mojito mix. She did offer to bring me out some extra mix which was kind of her. The drink itself was fairly weak too, and it was served in a pretty skinny highball packed with ice so the drink was gone in 4-5 sips. They really only need fresh mint to make their own mojitos considering they should have rum, simple syrup, and club soda stocked already so it did feel like a cop-out for a $7 cocktail at a Mexican restaurant. At least they have the margaritas down! Just steer clear of the mojito“
