“Al's is my first ice cream shop since moving to Pittsburgh and no reason to go anywhere else! We started off with a couple of great, juicy hotdogs! My sundae was so large, I guess because of it's deliciousness it was easy to finish! The flavor and the portion sure beats where I came from. “Yeah so the lines are really long in nice weather, but I've driven by in the rain and there are always people there. Its' Page's! They always serve people smoothly and efficiently event when it's crazy busy. The ice cream is great and don't overlook the hot food options too! A Pittsburgh institution.“

“The coffee is absolutely delicious as are the various snacks they provide like cookies and muffins. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful for suggestions on what you'd like. “Dari Delite is the best thing to happen to our neighborhood in ages. The portions are generous, and their is a huge variety of ice cream treats to choose from, plus delicious hot dogs and nachos, all of which are reasonably priced. We go as often as we can“

“Big thing here for the non-locals - CASH ONLY !The owner is one of the most down to earth people you'll meet. All the ice cream here is lovely, haven't had one bad thing here. There is no hard serve ice cream, but you can figure that out based on doing basic research. The place is exactly how you see it as well, right off of 5th avenue, so if there is a massive line you'll wait and like it!There usually isn't ever a large line and there is shaded seating on the left side of the building. They have blizzards, cones, sundaes, milkshakes and slushies, so there is more than enough to choose from. Does not hold back on hooking you up, and the price is cheaper than DQ“

“Will absolutely make multiple return visits! This place is such a hidden gem, and much more spacious inside than it appears from the street. Great coffee and food, and MUCH more affordable than expected. I parked in one of the dedicated for spots for free, then got a 12oz drip coffee with a delicious breakfast sandwich, all for less than $6. Can't wait to try out more on their menu! To top it off, the WiFi is strong for working or studying, and there are clean restrooms on-site. Happy I discovered this place!Parking: A few free spots are located next to the shop. Street parking is free in the permit parking zones according to the hours on the signs. Otherwise, paid parking can be found in the area.“

“I recently moved back to the area after 35+ years and was happy to see Dell's! My elderly father loves his ice cream and milkshakes and I was thrilled to stop at Dell's for him. Dad got a milkshakes and I got an arctic swirl. Not your bland tasteless machine ice-cream at all. Just good old fashioned real ice-cream at reasonable prices. And what a selection! Hot dogs to funnel cakes! Better than I remembered! Thanks Dell from me and my Dad!“

“This is one of my favorite places to get yogurt or frozen custard. There’s a good selection of flavors. There’s a small seating area inside and a drive-through to order ice cream if you are on the run.I ordered a sugar-free, fat-free vanilla yogurt cone, and it was really good. The person I was with ordered a milkshake, and that was equally as good.this is an ice cream shop so if you're looking for a burger or fries, this isn't the place to go.“

“O.M.G. this place is amazing! This was our first time here, after passing it up so many times on our way to different places. The advertisement for the Peanut Butter brownie parfait on their sign near the road was all the motivation I needed to finally stop. I am so glad I did! The custard is delicious. Unlike many other frozen custard I have had. I'm more of a soft serve ice cream person so this was right up my alley! Most ice creams upset my stomach later but I'll suffer though it to have some ice cream. I'm typing this up 3 hours later, and nothing yet! Finally a frozen treat I can eat that doesn't upset my stomach! The parfait I had, had bits of brownie in it and most places that I have had a brownie in the ice cream, its stale, this was like the brownie was only a couple hours old, it was that fresh tasting. The girls there are so sweet and nice, which just puts the cherry on top of the first time experience there. I will definitely be back to try their giant gobs and to try more of their frozen treats! Make the stop, don't wait like I did, you don't know what you're missing until you do!“

“Surprisingly not too unbearably sweet. It's very creamy and having me want more which is dangerous. Inside this Jake shake has like some cookie crumble/oreos. It gives a crunchy bite. Overall, I very much loved it despite the calories Service was swift. Plenty of seating to enjoy their drinks with friends. Definitely a good after dinner date spot.“

“This Rita's is the best Rita's in this area. It's also the only Rita's with Chocolate flavored Italian ice in this area. I have a Rita's 10min away from my house but I drive 30min just to get the Chocolate flavored ice here. Also the owner is such a nice person!“

Brooklyn and all of the staff is incredibly happy and welcoming always like even if the ice cream shop is filled up with lines of customers! “Small DQ next to gas station and Dunkin'. Def convenient to grab after fueling up vehicle . Typically only grab DQ for the ice cream , but it was lunch time so I ordered a double cheeseburger and Oreo hot cocoa blizzard . I forgot how good their burgers are! Tastes delicious . Blizzard was rich and chocolatey. Yum!!“

“Great spot along the Westmoreland Heritage Trail. Ice cream was good. Service was great. We were somewhat disappointed there is no longer "& Grille" here. Oh, and there was a nice clean bathroom for patrons, so that was worth the stop!“

“I've visited Jeni's twice in the past week because I just can't get over how good it is. My current favorite flavor is the Brown Butter Almond Brittle. It's seriously amazing. I also love the Salted Peanut Butter with chocolate flakes and Darkest Chocolate. The service is always super friendly and despite being busy most of the time, quick but not rushed. I love trying different flavors and the staff is always so patient. A little pricier for ice cream but worth it on splurge days!“
