“I stopped today at Coffee, etc. and like so many other comments - I had a great time. First of all, as someone who drives down Castle Shannon Blvd., past Willow Ave. at least once a week, I was mad at myself for not stopping there before. I chose to try a Hot Vanilla Latte (large) and picked two of their delicious-looking homemade chocolate chip cookies with peanut butter for my adult son. We took our purchases home and together consumed our new treats while reading a book together. We thoroughly enjoyed both the latte and cookies. Everything about this place including the food, the staff, the atmosphere, and the ease of parking made for a truly memorable - and pleasant - experience. I love that they are a local business too. We will definitely be back to support them... and try their many other delicious items!“

“Came here today 3-26-24, on a bad rainy day I got a hot chai tea. Probably the best I've ever had. Caution it's super hot drink slow but makes it easier to enjoy lol. Nice foam on the top pretty color, sweet, nice spice. Was 4.50 for a 12oz which for how good it is they could easily raise it another 1.00. Definitely recommend and will be back!!!!“

“Espresso and egg Benedict’s were ridiculously good. Highly recommend. The eggs Benedict remind me of New Orleans they are so good. And it’s always nice to find a place that has good espresso. They made the perfect real macchiato(not the Starbucks abomination)“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Patti's Pasticceria is a family-owned Italian-American bakery. Its menu includes breakfast pastries, cookies, cupcakes, rolls, specialty cakes (e.g., wedding, anniversary, birthday, and graduation), and even non-baked goods such as soups and espresso drinks. Prices are reasonable. For Easter, my family purchased a chocolate cake, a white cake, a strawberry pie, and lady-lock cookies from Patti's. My family members and I thought that these desserts were fresh and tasted good, but we prefer the flavors of desserts from a few other bakeries. I would feel happy to try many of Patti's other desserts, including her cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, apple strudels, cold-dough apricot cookies, s'mores cookies, cheesecake, carrot cake, sfogliatelle, etcetera. Please note that some desserts must be ordered in advance, and catering is available.“

“After moving back to town after being gone for a while, I was so happy to find out there was finally a coffee shop in the community! I got the peanut butter cup latte and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend, especially because of the service. The owners are lovely people and I will definitely be coming back. ◡̈“

“We had a little time to kill when we were passing through town this morning... ordered two lattes and a muffin; everything was delicious! This cute coffee shop had great vibes, the baristas were lovely, and it was a great start to our morning. We will definitely be back!“

“7/10! Ive been here 2 different times and each time the customer service was so so. They did not seem interested in helping you/giving suggestions and just weren’t as friendly as I would expect a local coffee shop to be? I think they are in the process of remodeling so the inside of the shop is mostly blocked off from use except for 2 tables. The first time I was there they had the old bank vault open with the lights on (really cool), but the second time I was there it was all shut off (pretty bummed as I was trying to show someone new the coffee shop).I’ve had a couple different lattes and all were pretty good. Nothing extraordinary. Their sausage egg and cheese breakfast rolls are AMAZING and I would come back just to eat these every day lol“

“We are new to the area and have tried our several diners. This one has been my favorite by far. The staff was very personable and created a very comfy atmosphere. I'm excited to try their lunch/dinner. I got the Bailey's Daily breakfast and everything was so flavorful and fresh. We will definitely be back.“

“Slowly has become my favorite coffee in the city. They have a killer matcha and their lattes never disappoint. What really sold me is they make homemade lavender syrup the way I do at home and it just warms my soul. I love the staff. They are all so friendly and passionate about their work. Middle of the road for prices ($4-$6) for a speciality drink. Highly recommend.“

“This was a mixed bag. There were 8 of us. Parking is sufficient, right off 88, not hard to find. Easy wheelchair access. After ordering, you seat yourself. They don't take reservations. Waitresses bring your drinks & food to the table. You order at a cafeteria counter, but the food is upscaled. They smoke their own meats outside in the parking lot. The menu is varied with brisket & pulled pork as the smoked products served in familiar as well as new formats like a pulled pork taco. Smelled great, but I was determined to try the buttered lobster roll. It was amazing! Small, tender bun stuffed with the meat of 1 lobster all in butter, unfortunately I did bite into a small bit of shell. Hubby tried the lentil, ham, veggie soup. It was a pretty large bowl & really good. His entree was a shaved ribeye sandwich, also excellent, although I thought it could have had more meat. Crispy, salted waffle fries were terrific. Others had burger, small plate salmon dinner, crab cake - everyone was pleased. The desserts were not very good. Creme Brulee & cheesecake were good, cookies & brownies were hard, not good.Overall, I would go back again. Next trip I will be trying those tacos.“

“It's a very nice coffee shop full of incredibly nice people. The food is good and the coffee is great. They have a ton of flavors if you're into that as well. Also, it's the only local coffee shop around. There's a Starbucks in belle vernon, but I'll always search for the small businesses over anything. I love when they have the garage door open when it's warm, it's a full experience of life in the valley. I love this place.“

“This place has become a staple for our family since moving into the South Hills area. The small diner feel where the staff remembers your name and order before you can get the words out...this is it!! I love their Western Omelets and the Cinnamon Raisin Toast. But there's nothing in the menu subpar“

“Really great space, had the sausage egg and cheese on a croissant, only 4 bucks. It was good. Had the Roz cold brew which is cheesecake coldbrew with red velvet cold foam. It was really tasty. Staff was super friendly. Great varieties of drink and food items from hot food to pastries.“

“What a cute place! The barista was super sweet and made the whole place feel very welcoming. She was on top of asking about any diet restrictions or milk substitutes. I got a raspberry matcha iced latte and it was the best thing I've ever had!“

“I came in to town to visit a friend and he recommended we check this place out. Not only is the cafe splattered in custom art, goth/metal decor and good color coordination but the coffee was incredible and so were the little burritos we got. Shout outs to Mallory, the owner and everyone on bar who made my visit special. Came for the theme of the shop but I will visit again on every trip I make to Pitt cuz they absolutely passed the vibe check.Dietary restrictions: They were incredibly accommodating of my tree nut allergy.“

“We came fairly early in the morning and most of them were gone already. They said they had a big rush, so we only got a plain cake donut for us to try. It was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Yum! We'll have to come again to try one of their yeast donuts.“

“Best bagel shop in Pittsburgh as far as I'm concerned! Delicious bagels with generous toppings and friendly service. Get there early if you don't want lines. Y'all should consider adding an egg bagel to the menu because my partner loves them and she would be really happy if you did ? Keep up the good work! Yinz are a staple of the community ??“

“As I've posted before, I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I prefer local, non-corporate coffee. I also like places with personality, great customer service and, of course, great coffee. Cafe cravings had it all. It's old school -- and seems to attract people from all walks of life. There was a line out the door and only two workers but they were hustling while simultaneously bantering with the locals and maintaining a great attitude. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and an americano, which were as tasty as we'd have hoped, but the 5 star review has far more to do with the authenticity of this neighborhood gem. I look forward to my next visit.“

“We were just here and got 1 slushie 1 fruit tea and my kids loved them! My son dropped his outside as soon as we left and they made him another and didn't charge us! The prices are affordable the atmosphere is welcoming and the 2 employees are very very nice! They explain everything and give a sample if needed. Give them a try especially in this area you'll love it!!!“
“We decided to walk through the Southside down to the Highline to see what's new. We checked out the Burgers menu and then continued to De fer @ The Highline to take the chill off. Arriving around 11am, it was quiet with just the right music buzz and volume for a pleasant stay. The barrista was pleasant and set to making our cappuccinos like a real coffee shop. They were beautifully presented and delicious. The shop has a french motif but opens to a modern industrial lobby with comfy chairs, where it seems a number of small work meetings were taking place. The lobby is large, and the furniture is well spaced for privacy. The lobby has charging available for electronics. As a bonus, if you are reducing your carbon footprint, the parking garage has vehicle charging stations. We left De fer for a walk on the trail as noon approached, and the shop got busier with people coming in for snacks, salads, and cold drinks.“

“I love the unique and vintage atmosphere here at Gasoline Street Coffee! I come often for a Maple Brown Sugar Latte and quick bite to eat when starting my day, or a Breakfast Blast smoothie after a night shift. The baristas are also great! Whenever friends or family visit, I make sure to bring them next door to this gem in downtown Pittsburgh!“

“I just picked up a Mocha Cream Latte at the grocery store and I gotta say it's freaking delicious!!! I see the label brags about being woman owned but after reading previous female employee comments about treatment of the staff I will never buy one again! And this is why the women's movement has become a joke“
“You can eat at the breakfast bar. But it's not necessarily a specialty coffee shop. It's more a corner convenience store with fresh donuts, coffee, and hot food made to order. It's easy to pass if you don't know what you are looking for. Amazing customer service and donuts.Kid-friendliness: My kiddos love their drink, ice cream, candy and snack selection. Not to mention the donuts!“
“I love the Chai milk tea with traditional tapioca boba! Amazing experience and drinks at Julie's Bubble Tea! Today, my husband and I got to meet the owner, Dave, and he was very kind and helpful! We got to learn more about him and his family, and we are overall in love with this small business. We will be frequenting here more often!“

“What a great spot that has a lot of sweet choices! Ice cream, smoothies, frappes, floats, cookies, blondies, and more. I finally decided on a milkshake, but only after I sampled some ice cream flavors for my milkshake. They did have milkshake flavors you could order, but I decided to make my own. Salted peanut butter and vanilla are what I chose. And it was really good! This place is big too. There was a big seating section in the back that I only noticed by the sign that said to come sit and stay awhile. I almost forgot how helpful the two staff members were who helped me not only to help me with my choice of what to order (Frappe or milkshake) but also how to walk on the snowy/icy side walks. Thank you!“

“My husband and I visit Pittsburgh every year and we always make a point to visit here. This is a small coffee shop that also serves some bakery items. The owner makes the best lattes around and the sweets are made by his wife. The pastries are all huge and big enough to share but they are so delicious I always eat it by myself! Get a cookie to go too because they are too delectable to pass up. It’s kind of old-school…only takes cash and owner will sit and chat while you eat if you care for the company. After you are done (or before)…walk right down the street to see some of the best views on Mt. Washington. This time afterwards we took the incline down to station square. Great location and great coffee and treats. Make sure you give this place a try!!“

“It’s time I leave a review! I come here all the time. The staff are very friendly and work super hard, they’re all so nice! It’s a nice spot to work too if you’re remote sometimes. Only drawback is it can get a little chilly with the windows and door opening a lot but that’s nobody’s fault!“

“Pink Box is always run by the sweetest staff! I used to get deliveries from them after my sister and I discovered them online, but now it's an extra treat to go in and browse for myself. The staff (including the owner, who seems to be around pretty often!) are all very sweet and knowledgeable about the goods they sell. Visiting their place is a nice boost of serotonin, and I can fill up on their red bean mochi buns and boba tea! I think their tapioca pearls are my favorite out of all the local places I've been to. “
