“Had dinner here last night for the first time. It was busy and festive with a bustling energy. The addition of a very good piano player was also very nice! There were 9 of us and our server Martin was great and attentive and helpful with ordering! We all liked our meals very much! The roasted artichokes app and the Brussels were phenomenal! I had the salmon piccata which was cooked perfectly. I also tasted the shrimp and beans- so good!!!Highly recommend this place. It’s a little loud for an intimate conversation meal. But if that’s not an issue for you this place is perfect. Will definitely go back!!Dietary restrictions: One person in our party is gluten free. They had many dishes that were able to accommodate her.“
“Have been a customer for years and very happy with both the food and the service. When I ask for a delivery at a specific time, they always are there at the specified time, with well packaged and delicious food. Thank you for being reliable, consistent, and friendly!“
“Scalessa’s is exactly as it sounds. Old school Italian Sunday dinner style meals & sandwiches. The Chicken Marsala is the best I’ve ever had in my life. Try it with a side of gnocchi (delicious) or even their spaghetti. The chicken cutlet with broccoli rabe sandwich is delicious. The staff is always friendly. The chefs are beyond skilled. Don’t forget to grab a butter cake before you leave.“
“Can’t possibly say enough good things about Tredici! Have never had a bad meal here (and I have tried a lot of items ?) lunch, dinner or catering are all a hit. Top favs are crab cakes, mashed sweet potatoes, chicken caprese. Always have my freezer stocked with marinara sauce for an easy dinner and chicken soup as needed. Absolutely love Tredici!!“
“Parking Parking Parking..... Plan ahead for parking.... It can take some time. Area parking is free after 6pm (3/2024). Food, service, atmosphere and seating was well organized & executed. Cocktail selection is excellent. Every dish was well prepared and plated to perfection -the kitchen team knows what they're doing. Touché to the management to create such an excellent team. Will be back when I am in the area.“
“I just been eating their pizza recently maybe since last summer and specially their Giants Square pizza they’re Sicilian. It is so delicious I get it all the time everybody loves it. The food is really good.Only complaint, I don’t think I saw calamari on the menu “
“The food was fantastic! I recommend the calamari for an appetizer. Prime rib special was out of this world. It paired well with their signature old fashioned. To finish things off, I enjoyed the apple strudel dessert. The service was wonderful. Food was perfectly prepared and executed. Same goes for the drinks. I really enjoyed date night dining with my wife here.“
“Seating was right on time with our reservation. The staff were warm and welcoming. Menu was well rounded and the food was delicious. Pricing was a bit high, but not enough to bypass next time. * complimentary valet parking was fine, but unexpected *“
“The restaurant is near a corporate center and has a large parking lot. The main room where we sat was very noisy. The server was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had the lasagna and I had the acorn agnolotti. Amazing Italian bread too. And they have a little market onsite filled with items to purchase. I would definitely recommend and return.“
“We chose Ariano for a baby shower and our experience was exceptional. From the moment Jamie, our waiter, greeted us until the moment we left we were impressed. Jamie was amazing, accommodating and professional. Ben, another waiter, was equally so. Both made us feel comfortable and welcome. The food was delicious, bountiful, and beautifully served. Timing for the different courses was perfect. As always, the upstairs room proved to be the most lovely space for our event and seated our 34 guests easily. From first inquiry to final details Nicolette, the event manager, was prompt, efficient and helpful and she made our event planning a breeze. Totally five stars for hospitality, food, and atmosphere.“
“LOVE this quaint, affordable, and really delicious spot. First time there and the place was full when we got there but I can understand why! It’s because the food is delicious and the people there are so freakin’ nice!! I am definitely going to be coming back and maybe (most likely) frequently!!“
“First time there for our daughter's birthday. Good friends with us for the dinner as well and the overall feeling is that everyone thought all dinners were amazing. I personally had the seafood alla vodka which was great. Shared a limoncello cake for dessert and again, amazing. Josiah was our server and was absolutely the best!“
“The food was outstanding. we had the crab bisque and a beet salad. For our entrées, we had a pesto risotto with burrata & sausage and chicken genovese... they were both great ! We also tried one of their pizzas just for future reference each had a slice and took the remainder home. The pizza was really good. The food could've possibly come out a little slower meaning the courses, but probably being a little picky. The atmosphere was very pleasant. You forgot you were in a strip mall. I felt like the noise was perfect for Saturday night that's saying a lot. But the restaurant had many customers. my only ding would be they desperately need a hostess to greet you at the door. We had a reservation for 730 and although they did acknowledge us, it was sort of like when they were walking by. Considering the high-level of everything else I'm sure they're on the lookout for a few hostesses or hosts. We will definitely be returning and I've already recommended it to other people.“
“Wilmington's Trolley Square has long been a haven for delicious discoveries, but Gaudiello's Italian Hoagies takes the crown for their porchetta sub. This isn't just a sandwich; it's a symphony of textures and flavors, a testament to the art of Italian charcuterie. The star, of course, is the porchetta. The impossibly crisp skin yields to layers of juicy, herb-infused pork. Each bite is a concerto of savory richness, the perfect harmony of fat and lean. Gaudiello's doesn't drown this masterpiece in unnecessary embellishments. A touch of garlicky broccoli rabe adds a delightful bitterness, while sharp provolone cheese cuts through the richness. A hint of peppery seasoning pulls everything together, leaving you wanting more. The bread, a perfect balance of crusty and yielding, deserves its own applause. It cradles the fillings without crumbling, providing the ideal platform for each mouthful. Every element sings in perfect pitch, resulting in a chorus of pure satisfaction.Gaudiello's porchetta sub isn't just lunch; it's an experience. It's a love letter to slow roasting, a celebration of artisanal ingredients. In a world of over-stuffed monstrosities, this sub is a masterclass in balance and restraint. If you find yourself in Wilmington, don't miss this operatic masterpiece. Just be prepared to stand in ovation – this porchetta will have you applauding with every delicious bite.“
“The dining experience I had was nothing short of fantastic. The meal that I had was prepared exceptionally well and was delicious. I was equally impressed with the service provided by the staff. The attentiveness and friendliness of the waitstaff were unparalleled. Overall, it was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and exceptional service.“
“No one makes a better hoagie or cheesesteak. Anywhere. If they served crinkle cut fries it would be better than the ones they have. But it's a sandwich shop, so can't really go wrong grabbing chips instead. The sandwiches are the absolute best I've ever had.“
“Love this place.I’ve eaten here a few dozen times. I love their crust, sauce, and I’ve had several different pizzas and they are all good.Clean comfy place. Courteous people. Also like their other items like the Brussels sprouts and faro salad.Highly recommend, and am definitely planning to come back again.“
“Great for a midweek date. Food is very good. I enjoyed my appetizer (the burrata --delicious and with eye appeal) more than dinner (Chicken Florentino --good but could have used some imagination). The mussels appetizer was excellent and the veal parmesan is always to perfection. Service was friendly and familiar; our server knows how to "read" her guests. The atmosphere is plain, no frills, not the type of place you want for a romantic night out; but definitely worth popping in with family and friends, or for a treat midweek.“
“I am writing to express our sincere appreciation for the exceptional dining experience we enjoyed at Teca Newtown Square on February 27, 2024. Our Cabinet and Board members were thoroughly impressed by the quality of service and cuisine provided by your establishment. From the moment we stepped into the wine cellar, which we had the pleasure of renting for the occasion, the ambiance captivated us and set the stage for an evening of culinary excellence. The attention to detail in creating such a welcoming atmosphere did not go unnoticed. Our server, Jerry, was truly outstanding. His guidance through the menu, which included a delightful selection of dishes such as flavorful margherita and tartufo pizzas, delightful avocado toast, satisfying Teca wrap, savory roast beef crostini, exquisite smoked salmon, and delectable mini crab cakes, was impeccable. Jerry's genuine care for our dining experience was evident in every interaction, making us feel valued and well taken care of throughout the evening.I must also commend Claire for her exceptional customer service at the bar. From the moment we approached, her warm smile and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. Claire's knowledge of the extensive drink menu and her passion for mixology were evident in every cocktail she crafted. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring each guest had a memorable experience truly set her apart.Throughout the evening, Claire remained attentive and engaging, effortlessly striking the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. Her vibrant personality added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening, creating a lively atmosphere at the bar that became a focal point of our dining experience. In addition to the outstanding service, the food at Teca Newtown Square was a true highlight of the evening. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, exceeding all expectations.Overall, our experience at Teca Newtown Square was exceptional. From the impeccable service to the delicious food and drinks, every aspect of our evening was superb. We highly recommend Teca Newtown Square to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Newtown Square.Thank you once again for providing us with such a wonderful dining experience. We look forward to returning in the near future.“
“Their cheese pizza is the best. They have few veggie options. They are a fast paced place so be ready to move quickly. Don’t take offense to that. They are just trying to move the crowd along during busy hour. We have order them for large kids party and they have always worked with us to accommodate. Would recommend to go here just for their cheese pizza. Their Greek salad is good.“
“Silence at the table? That's a good sign at Teresa's Cafe! My party of three enjoyed a relaxed and delicious meal. My burger had chewing in silence, while the steak and salad reports were equally rave. This cafe knows comfort food - fresh, flavorful, and silencing conversation in the best way possible. Definitely recommend!“
“Fantastic Italian food in a very unlikely location! How they landed in our backyard and not in the city or the main line is perplexing. None the less we are so grateful. The food is bursting with flavor, the prices are quite reasonable, and the staff are attentive and always glad to see you! What more could you ask for?“
“Food was outstanding, you can tell all of the pasta is made in house, from the gnocchi, to the ravioli it was all flavorful and delicious. The seating can be a little cramped in some areas but that tends to be how most restaurants in WC’s historical buildings are. Would definitely recommend Dolce Zola to any Italian lovers or for a great date night meal.“
“Santinos is our new go to spot thanks to Nicole! She makes it such a welcoming, homey environment.. she truly remembers her customers and makes sure they are taken care of while you're here! AND she makes the most incredible (orange) cosmo! Great food, great drinks and even better company! Highly recommend!“
“Their food is great but they don't accept ENT benefits and it's not fair to Americans on public assistance who don't extra money for food especially homeless people on Snap who only have these places to eat at they need to catch up with the rest of the country !“
“This is my go to place for Italian and Americsn food. Nice atmosphere, clean ,well lit store with pleasant staff. My chicken salad on a kaiser roll was 4 stars. You can also call ahead and order. Their frozen section has a wide variety of foods and desserts to choose from at decent prices.☆☆☆☆☆“
“Was there for lunch this week. Food was really good and very plentiful. I had the pork sandwich. Very juicy and tender. My wife had chicken tenders and fries. Nicky prepared and presented. Our one friend had a meatball sandwich with fries and the other had a chicken but. We all left with boxes of leftovers. The service was slower than expected but a group of 12 came in right after us and had not called ahead.Have been there twice before for dinner and enjoyed both times“
“Main Line is a no frills local pizza place with great food, friendly service, fast delivery and good prices. If gluten free, try the cauliflower crust pizza. All the regular pizza and stromboli are great too.Kid-friendliness: My son was thrilled to gwt a free slice coupon at school.“
“A nice little pizza shop, I’m happy to have found today at work. They serve a crisp thin crust pizza that isn’t too heavy on the sauce or cheese, and therefore not overly greasy as well. (I know pizza is subjective but that’s exactly how I like it). I thought it was delicious and will likely try a sandwich next time. I’d love to see a chicken ceasar wrap on the menu someday, but there’s plenty of options there now. Very friendly people, and fair prices too. It appears to be take-out only, but there’s a few outdoor tables for nice weather. Ample parking, order from the kiosk inside, credit accepted/cash appreciated. Highly recommended.“
“Usually amazing, I’ve been going here for a few years and I’ve always been a huge fan. This time I was pretty disappointed in the Gallagher fries, there wasn’t much cheese or brisket so the fries were kind of dry. I still did 5 stars because I don’t want this to deter anyone from trying americas pie, it’s a great locally owned business that I hope continues to thrive but I did want to leave a review in case they read these. Thanks for all the great food over the years!“
“We were a party of four. It was our first time dining there and we all loved our food - everything was delicious! Service was absolutely top notch! Our reservations were at 6:15 on a Saturday night and it was packed upon entry. The only downside was the noise level caused conversation to sometimes be problematic.“
“This place is a hidden gem in Pennsylvania. It is a must if you are in the Philadelphia area. From the drinks, appetizers to the main entrée are simply amazing. They also made my Martini from scratch.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free friendly“
“So. It's been quite awhile since my family and I have been to Anthony's in Malvern. I have to say that the more they renovate the worse the restaurant becomes. We took my dad there for his 76th birthday. There were 7 of us altogether. My wife kids and grandson arrived first at 5:15. It was not crowded-there were many tables available for seating. The hostess informed my wife that we could not be seated at a table until all of our guests were in the restaurant. We were a bit confused by this since we had never experienced this before at Anthony's or anywhere else. I told the hostess that my father was a minute out-nonetheless, we could not sit at a table until he arrived. Which was baffling due to the fact that there were at least 10 tables open and no wait. The funny thing is we did not ask to sit down-we were informed that we would not be seated until all guests had arrived. When we spoke to the owner after we bein seated-upon the arrival of our one missing guest-he informed us that this has always been the policy and the main reason is to keep the wait staff from having to come back to the table and explain the specials a second time to the late arrivals or have to take a second drink order. Honestly if my server can't take the time to do that-I will not be able to take the time to figure out what 20% is! After this baffling exchange no specials were explained, we were instructed they were written on the first page of the menu. Which is fine by me if I don't know what something is I'll ask. Now I would have been willing to let all this nonsense slide-we don't get a chance to dine out often-but-and this is the truly disappointing part to all of this. The food was not good. At all. In the past, before the place was remodeled-and they added a bar etc etc the food was magnificent. Our service at this visit was excellent minus the bumpy start but somewhere along the path of expansion and remodeling-the quality and quantity of food has been forgotten. It wasn't just myself who thought this either. There were 7 of us and 5 of our clan were not impressed with the food. Enough so that this will be our last trip to Anthony's of Malvern. It wasn't so much about the whole seating "policy". The facts are -we go out to eat on special occasions. Birthdays, anniversaries, we work hard so we deserve a night out, those types of occasions. I/we want to enjoy the food we order to celebrate those occasions. I ordered the raviolis with two meatballs topped with their pink sauce. The raviolis were overcooked, the meatballs tasted as if they were 1/2 bread crumbs and the pink sauce was bland and unsatisfying. We make the Irish version of pink sauce at home by combining 1/2 jar of Alfredo with a 1/2 jar of marinara. It's not great but it is certainly tastier than what I was served last night. As my wife and kids tell me I've lectured too long! Save yourself the hassle and trade in the Anthony's of Malvern for the Anthony's if Downingtown. In a society that puts so much emphasis on the outside beauty of things, the old adage is true. Beauty is only skin deep. Anthony's of Malvern may look spectacular, something on the inside needs mending. To put it nicely. I've only eaten at Olive Garden once or twice for a reason. It's not truly authentic Italian food. I would spend my money and eat there before sitting-not before all my companions arrive mind you- before dining at Anthony's again. They should be done with the seating policy as well as start a remodel on the quality of the food. As I stated in the beginning of this rant-we've eaten there for decades. We will visit the other Anthony's (Downingtown) when it's time to celebrate Italian style time. In the owner's defense-he did give my father a free piece of tiramisu for his birthday-even though he was late. Thanks“
“My friend's Vicki and Tom took me to dinner at Trattoria San Nicola. The food and service were excellent. I will definitely return in the future as finances permit. Thanks to everyone at the restaurant. Paul S. HeimersParking: The restaurant has a large amount of parking but is so popular the lot fills up quickly.“
“Lunch at Rosalie was a very nice experience for my parents and I today. The historic building has caught my attention for many years, and I’m glad to see how beautifully maintained it is, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, with a creative menu that appears to evolve over time, and the pizzas were especially good. It was fairly quiet on a late Monday afternoon, but the service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, and I’m looking forward to another visit soon. Don’t skip dessert!!“
“We left love Paxon Hollow for golf and Anthony's is a great place to eat. We sat on the deck with the greens as our view, and what a beautiful evening it was. We had the frutti de mare and the shrimp lejon. We give it a 10...great service, atmosphere, and food. Not to mention the company was perfect. A great place for the family.“
“Solid cheesesteaks, love the rolls, they don't skimp on the meat, but take a name down with every order so you don't mix them up and read the order back to the customer. I ordered a buffalo chicken cheesesteak and got a buffalo beef cheesesteak, another time I ordered 2 cheesesteaks and you thought we ordered 3.“
“First time going there tonight. Food was amazing. I had the chicken parm and my wife had shrimp linguini. Both meals were very good. Chicken parm was recommended by the waitress and did not disappoint. Huge portion and great taste. Shrimp linguini was great also. Their Limoncello Martini is my new favorite drink. Everything is made from scratch. Service was also great. Recommended meals based on taste and not price which was appreciated. Waitress was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. we will definitely be going back we are already planning our next visit. I recommend anyone looking for good Italian food to try this place“
“Celebrated our anniversary this evening at Fellini Cafe of Media, absoulty wonderful evening. The appetizers were both done with a twist from the normal mozzarella sticks and caprese salad - both amazing. Dinner was delicious and plentiful, I have a nice lunch for tommorrow. Lastly but equally as important the service was phenomenal - from our server Quan to all of the food runners top notch. There was never an empty glass or dirty dish on the table. Thank you for a wonderful evening.Vegetarian options: Lots of chociesDietary restrictions: Very accomidating - they were sure to let us know everthing is made to order so id we wanted to change something up we could.Parking: Parking on State street can always be hit pr miss. Depending on the time of day.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu availableWheelchair accessibility: Ground level plently of room for wheelchairs.“
“The rigatoni and sausage is great, as is the salmon. Both locations are very dog friendly, unlike Capers and Lemons (owned by the same folks. I make it a point to visit both Taverna locations, but will avoid Capers and Lemons, even though it is closer to my home. Highly recommend Taverna. Dog lovers? Stay away from Capers and Lemons.“
“I ordered two Italian Hoagies for traveling. They were not exactly sure what that meant, so I explained that I would be eating them the next day and they needed to wrap the vegetables and meat in plastic wrap. The hoagies were fabulous! I was raised on Philadelphia hoagies and these did not disappoint. I might suggest adding some oregano, but that is all. They were filled to overflowing with meat, cheese and veggies. They put the olive oil in a separate container, again for traveling. Very pleasant experience!“
“Today, we had my sister's Bridal Shower at Fellini’s Cafe. Anthony & his team were wonderful from beginning to end. The venue was exactly what we needed for about 30+ ladies. Our food was absolutely delicious with plenty to take home! Tons of space for backdrop & ballons as well as specialty tables: gifts, favors, desserts, and mimosa bar!!! Thank you for a special day?“
“Special Christmas drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. Garibaldi’s is next to Maxi's and they have a connecting inside door. You can take your cheesesteak to Maxi’s or you can take your beer to Garibaldi’s. It’s a big cheesesteak but in the picture you can see that it is dry. Maxi’s has beer but they allow smoking. The bartender was awesome. The young woman at Garibaldi’s was amazing. She made our cheesesteak on a garlic bread roll.“
“Met some friends here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is located in a cute and quaint neighborhood. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the scallop / crab entrée. This dish was tasty, however, I didn't expect the tiny bay scallops. I also didn't expect the very wide pasta noodles. (About 1/2 inch wide) I think I would have enjoyed the dish better with sea scallops and thinner pasta. There is also limited parking in this area.“
“We arrived early and were immediately seated. The server was friendly and knowledgeable and was very attentive to us. We ordered our dinners and enjoyed large portions. My seafood dinner (Zappa de Pesce) was delicious. My wife ordered Amalfitana and was very pleased. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Definitely worth the trip.“
“The owner is fantastic. He's very friendly. The food quality and quantity is great. My favorite food to get is the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. So good!! Best thing is he's open til 2am!!Parking: There's plenty of space to parkKid-friendliness: Has all kinds of candy and chips. Soda and juices. Even the little ones with the straws attached.“
“The family that owns this restaurant is awesome and they go above and beyond to produce quality delicious food. Every time I’m in the West Chester area and I’m craving a cheese steak, wings or pizza I choose Vanos!Parking: Plenty of spots to park.Kid-friendliness: The whole family owned establishment has a friendly inviting atmosphere and is ran by great people.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible!“
“Our experience at Olive Garden celebrating my aunt's birthday was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff went above and beyond to make the celebration memorable. As we sang "Happy Birthday," the entire team surprised us by coming out with a beautifully decorated cake for my aunt. Their genuine enthusiasm and smiles made her feel incredibly special. A special shout out to Kristin on how she managed our difficult crowd. The service throughout the lunch was outstanding; the waitstaff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring our glasses were always filled and that we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of dishes that satisfied everyone's taste buds. The ambiance was perfect for a family celebration, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere. The staff was also very accomodating for our vegetarian diets. What truly set this Olive Garden experience apart was the extra effort the staff put into making my aunt's birthday unforgettable. Their attention to detail and heartfelt gestures made us feel like valued guests. We left with full hearts and satisfied appetites, grateful for the wonderful memories created at Olive Garden. We'll undoubtedly cherish this celebration for years to come. Thank you to the entire Olive Garden team for making our family gathering so extraordinary!“
“Special Monday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. It’s hard to find Cheesesteaks and Alcohol on a Monday. Amigo Dan thinks he is a Pizza Expert so we went to Mercato and got a Mercato Pizza and Old Fashions. We liked Mercato’s. We liked our server. We liked our Old Fashions very much. I liked all of the ingredients that make the Mercato Pizza and just did not like them together as a pizza. The egg freaked me out.“
“It's been a minute since we've been here. It has changed a lot. For the better. Seated promotly, they do try to push the bar tab. It's kinda expected and up to the customer to say yes or no. I had one. It was delicious! I ordered the veal tenders. I ordered without mushrooms and there was no oroblem. OMG! So nice and tasty. I brought some home for next days lunch. He had the veal chop. He enjoyed it. Lots if food but we wanted some salad. One salad and two plates. Who knew? It worked out great. The service was excellent. This used to be a quiet place to have dinner. They've added tables and it's much more lively. Everyone seemed happy and upbeat. We will be back. Yummy!“
