“We recently discovered Oak, just a half mile from our home, and it’s truly a hidden gem in an area with limited dining options. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. Our bartender, Zach, was welcoming, knowledgeable, and offered fantastic recommendations—including the Steak and Eggs for brunch, which exceeded all expectations. The steak was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the eggs—a dish I had never tried before but will definitely be ordering again. My husband enjoyed the BLT Eggs Benedict, which was equally impressive. The thick-cut bacon, perfectly poached eggs, and flavorful hollandaise made for an unforgettable dish. The service throughout our visit was outstanding, and when asked for recommendations, Zach confidently told us that everything on the menu is great—and from what we tasted, we absolutely believe it. If we could give Oak a 10 out of 10, we would. For anyone in the area or just passing through, we highly recommend stopping by. Oak is a standout dining experience, and we’ll definitely be returning soon!”

“This place wasn’t bad but I expected a little better service. The steak was pretty ok. The Texas onion was on point. The shrimp was average. The salads were nothing to write home about. The server was less than desirable. No such thing as refills or prebussing tables. It was average at best. Prices are high compared to similar places. If I didn’t have a gift certificate I wouldn’t have chosen this place.”

“IM TRULY IN LOVE WITH THIS RESTAURANT!! I didn’t take a picture I forgot but I will next time I eat there. However, I’m new to this town and have eaten at 2 other asian restaurants in this town and tbh I was extremely disappointed. So I decided to try one more Asian restaurant, the Aki steakhouse. I was super blown away from the quality and taste of my meal. it’s hands down the best food I’ve had in years!! I mean YEARS!! I got the chicken teriyaki it was super moist and tender enough to break into pieces w/ just a fork, it came with the sweetest sugar snap peas and asparagus cooked to complete perfection( the tastiest vegetables I’ve ever had in my life) w/ white rice and to my shock it was a huge portion, enough for at least 2 adults. The price of my meal was 21$ but EXTREMELY worth it, and actually that’s only 9 dollars more than a combo meal from McDonald’s (that’s crazy to think about) and like I said it’s huge portions so you can easily split it with someone. YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY THIS RESTAURANT, I PROMISE YOU’LL BE HOOKED.”

“What a night! I finally took Cooper for his 1st Lobster. After watching lots of “Coyote Peterson” uTube videos for a couple months, he’d been asking me to take him to eat one. Today was the day. Thank you to Hanovers Red Lobster & their General Manager Michael, he gave us the ultimate educational experience & even sat down with us & showed Cooper how to eat it. Mike got the meat out while Cooper ate it 😂😂. Cooper loved every bite of it & dipped it in his “hot warm butter”. He suggested his 8 year old friend Mia, try a “no thank you bite” ( that’s my rule ! 😂) And, she liked it! It was so funny! Had a great time. Cooper had a blast & enjoyed having Mia join him too!! Thanks so much Michael, for accommodating my request, you’re the best👍😀”

Wanted a Corona to go with meal, but she explained that they did not have a liquor license, but it is a BYOB ((we'll know for next time).Watched other tables get served with some really wonderful dishes. Ours was delivered to table in about 15 minutes. Great plating of food. Taste was excellent. Took home our leftovers. Highly recommend this little gem in Hanover PA”

“I came to Ghouls and Grinds for the first time 2 weeks ago, and it was absolutely the best experience I have had at a local coffee shop. The coffee here is fantastic, and the drink choices are amazing. My husband also loves it so much, this is the only coffee shop we want to come to now. I appreciate that they don’t charge extra for things like different milks and for decaf coffee. The cinnamon bun coffee is our absolute favorite. And also- the staff here is very friendly. That’s a huge plus- I have had some disappointing encounters at other coffee shops in the area- but not Ghouls and Grinds- they are fantastic and if you have not tried them I 1000000% urge you to!! You will not be disappointed!”

“When my husband and I think of Perkins, we think of family. Everyone there has been great! From welcoming you as soon as you come in the door, to saying see ya next time when you leave. They are very polite and respectful.

Our meals have been good but there is always room for improvement. The food can be a little bland at times. There was a time our food came out cold, bacon was not crispy and my toast was burnt but our waitress, Kaylee, took care of it right away. She spoke with her manager Wade and he made everything right. Kaylee is very attentive, well mannered and a great server.

All the managers are awesome! We have gone to the Gettysburg restaurant but the service there does not match up to the service we get here at the Hanover restaurant.

“Merlin’s Coffee is a hidden the Hanover area. We had the pleasure of nearing the owners Donna and Eric, very pleasant to sit back and talk coffee beans and origins. These people are passionate about what they do.”

“Big Dippers came in clutch last week. My husbands Pop went into hospice and the thing he wanted most was a peach milkshake. Chikfila had just stopped theirs for the summer. I searched around and couldn’t find any, and he was heartbroken. I called Big Dippers and they had them! I came up and got the biggest peach milkshake I could get. The woman helping me was very sweet and helped me decide which type (hard ice cream or syrup). He drank some of his milkshake and his eyes rolled back in his head and he said it was amazing! He passed less than 48 hours later; that milkshake was one of the last things he ate. Big Dippers helped me make one of his last wishes come true. Thank you. ❤️”

“I just wanted to say, I have a lot of food allergies, so when I order a sandwich I order it without the roll. I always request that it be cut up because you all don't offer plastic knives. It's so hard to try to cut it or pull it apart with those little plastic forks you provide. Well today, we place our order and I tell the girl at the window to make sure they cut it up, my fiance also told her. Well it came out, NOT cut up so I took it over to the door. A girl asked what I wanted, I told her, she acted kinda snippy, she handed off to another girl who then rolled her eyes and she then had one of the guys cut it up. It took all I had to NOT open that door and let them know about the freaken day I just had of having to bury my mother-in-law!!!!! Along with everything else I've been going through these past few months!!!! I really didn't need nor want the freaken attitude! Maybe try offering a little plastic knives with your little plastic forks if it's such a freaken bother to cut food up for a long time customer!”

“Went here after it being recommended. I’m used to going to Oola bowls and wanted to try something more local. We arrived 15 minutes before closing. Felt bad but the customer service was still good. Didn’t feel rushed and we were able to finish our açaí bowls inside as we came on a motorcycle so couldn’t take them Togo. We were there about 5 minutes after closing. The staff was very nice and the bowls were delicious. Only thing I’d change is better quality honey. Still overall would recommend. Can’t wait to go back and try some food and drink options!”

“I have been going to the Famous for decades. Always ordered the Hot Dog w/ everything. I recently stopped in abd git my usual 2 dogs with everything and a Strawberry shake. I hatecto say this but the Hot Dogs were horrible. They were dry with a weird texture. I've spoken to several other frequent loyal customers and they said the same thing. I'm not sure if you changed your distributor, but I don't think I can go back. maybe for a cheeseburger with everything. I hope you check into this.”

The butter cream frosting had the perfect combination of flavor, smooth texture with just the right amount of sweet. “So this is a mixed review. I am older and a "wing eating pro". Divino's wings are among the best in the area. Ample size, well seasoned, cooked just right. Their "cheesesteaks, not so much. I received a very excellent roll with very little "hamburger" no discernible cheese and little onion flakes. It is almost as if it was sent out without the preparation process being finished. It certainly was not noticed by the server. I should have sent it bask. My bad! 2 STARS...The servers, except for that, were very professional and cordial. I also tried the Stromboli on a different visit - and it was excellent. I asked for extra mozzarella - and I GOT it. Ok, let's boost this rating up a notch and 1/2. Try it for your self and let us know. Bon Appetite ! (PS - I detest giving bad reviews)”
