“We recently discovered Oak, just a half mile from our home, and it’s truly a hidden gem in an area with limited dining options. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. Our bartender, Zach, was welcoming, knowledgeable, and offered fantastic recommendations—including the Steak and Eggs for brunch, which exceeded all expectations. The steak was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the eggs—a dish I had never tried before but will definitely be ordering again. My husband enjoyed the BLT Eggs Benedict, which was equally impressive. The thick-cut bacon, perfectly poached eggs, and flavorful hollandaise made for an unforgettable dish. The service throughout our visit was outstanding, and when asked for recommendations, Zach confidently told us that everything on the menu is great—and from what we tasted, we absolutely believe it. If we could give Oak a 10 out of 10, we would. For anyone in the area or just passing through, we highly recommend stopping by. Oak is a standout dining experience, and we’ll definitely be returning soon!”

“What a night! I finally took Cooper for his 1st Lobster. After watching lots of “Coyote Peterson” uTube videos for a couple months, he’d been asking me to take him to eat one. Today was the day. Thank you to Hanovers Red Lobster & their General Manager Michael, he gave us the ultimate educational experience & even sat down with us & showed Cooper how to eat it. Mike got the meat out while Cooper ate it 😂😂. Cooper loved every bite of it & dipped it in his “hot warm butter”. He suggested his 8 year old friend Mia, try a “no thank you bite” ( that’s my rule ! 😂) And, she liked it! It was so funny! Had a great time. Cooper had a blast & enjoyed having Mia join him too!! Ours was delivered to table in about 15 minutes. Great plating of food. Taste was excellent. Took home our leftovers. Highly recommend this little gem in Hanover PA”

“100000/10 you need to run to any of their locations!!!! This is the ONLY place I go out and get ice cream at anymore. The owner knows what’s up when it comes to making ice cream and creativity isn’t out of her reach when it comes to all the new flavors she keeps coming up with! The BEST ice cream I’ve EVER HAD!!! Nothing compares to half pint! Every flavor is true to its name with the taste!”

But we don`t get there for breakfast much because you changed your hours. For us 10am is to late when you get up around 6am.Please try to open around 8am. “Returned to Perkins after many years as was in the area. About an 1 1/2 hour before close, just my wife and I in the place, some people leaving as we arrived. The waitress was flying solo and doing double duty as hostess and was fantastic (Hannah I believe). She gave good recommendations, friendly service. I got a big breakfast and my wife got a quesadilla. Both were great. I remember when they opened years ago, and while the building shows its age in some places, will be visiting again when in Hanover area. All day breakfast!”

Our waitress was Alyssa she was wonderful helping me with my food allergies very thoughtful you have a wonderful worker in her.I had the ham with baked potato and cottage cheese my husband had the 2 smoked pork chops with a baked potato and cucumber salad the meal was wonderfully cooked well and so delicious Thank you for a great experience eating at you restaurant.”

Your custom cake and cupcakes were a show-stopper. ***I ordered a Highland Cow 6” cake (peanut butter mousse with chocolate icing) and sixty plus highland cow cupcakes (yellow, chocolate and pumpkin flavors) to supplement. The butter cream frosting had the perfect combination of flavor, smooth texture with just the right amount of sweet. The cake and cupcakes were fresh and moist (even after I had them in the refrigerator for an extended amount of time). The Cake Bar captured the perfect amount of frosting to cake ratio. Each treat was and simply scrumptious. The cake and cupcakes were delicately decorated and exploding with “WOW”. Your skill, creativity and artistic talent are remarkable. Each cupcake and the cake were a work of art of their own. From my initial inquiry, working through a concept and to final delivery, I was given a really personalized and professional service. I couldn’t be more impressed with the finished cake and cupcakes. Everyone loved them. The Cake bar is by far, comparable to none. I will sing the praises of The Cake Bar to anyone with a five star +++ rating an recommend no others. Thank you for your incredible work.”

“Big Dippers came in clutch last week. My husbands Pop went into hospice and the thing he wanted most was a peach milkshake. Chikfila had just stopped theirs for the summer. I searched around and couldn’t find any, and he was heartbroken. I called Big Dippers and they had them! I came up and got the biggest peach milkshake I could get. The woman helping me was very sweet and helped me decide which type (hard ice cream or syrup). He drank some of his milkshake and his eyes rolled back in his head and he said it was amazing! He passed less than 48 hours later; that milkshake was one of the last things he ate. Big Dippers helped me make one of his last wishes come true. Thank you. ❤️”

“Always busy. Good food served fast. Fair pricing. My only 2 digs would be... When it's really busy, there isn't much room to stand and wait. Room is a little too dark for me. But that's just a personal preference. We pick up food from this place almost on a weekly basis.”

“After my fiance and I had tried their beer at the American legion, I instantly looked this place up because the beer was so good and a week later we came here. I really love the set up of the place. And the staff were super nice and very informative too. If you come here try their pretzel beer, laser beer, dolphin and anchor ale and steam beer. We bought a case each of the laser beer and the pretzel beer and will DEFINITELY be back!!! I am so happy I found this place by accident. We are about 15 miles away from here but it's worth every mile!”

“The prices here are unbelievable! I got a 12 inch churro for 1 dollar and a pretzel pizza for 1.86 or something. They don't have healthy options really, but you can get a salad or wrap that's to the left when facing the cashier. It is free refills as long as your in the store I believe. They also have frozen yogurt and sundaes.”

“I have been going to the Famous for decades. Always ordered the Hot Dog w/ everything. I recently stopped in abd git my usual 2 dogs with everything and a Strawberry shake. I hatecto say this but the Hot Dogs were horrible. They were dry with a weird texture. I've spoken to several other frequent loyal customers and they said the same thing. I'm not sure if you changed your distributor, but I don't think I can go back. maybe for a cheeseburger with everything. I hope you check into this.”

“I have been going here for 28 years and I must say the chili sauce has always been on point but I feel as of lately they really need to do some improvements because this is not the famous hot weiner I remember always use to be given a plentiful amount of fries with your order and I was in last week seem to skimp on fries and like the hot dogs and burgers have shrunk in size barely even fills up the bun anymore and thats super disappointing especially when prices have gone up. my stops will be more for a chili sauce to go then to just eat there. I had hoped to be able to keep the tradition going with my kids but I can see spending the price for half the amount of food given. I hope this will change or be taken in consideration. Look back a past photo of your plate pictures its certainly changes up to now.”

“So this is a mixed review. I am older and a "wing eating pro". Divino's wings are among the best in the area. Ample size, well seasoned, cooked just right. Their "cheesesteaks, not so much. I received a very excellent roll with very little "hamburger" no discernible cheese and little onion flakes. It is almost as if it was sent out without the preparation process being finished. It certainly was not noticed by the server. I should have sent it bask. My bad! 2 STARS...The servers, except for that, were very professional and cordial. I also tried the Stromboli on a different visit - and it was excellent. I asked for extra mozzarella - and I GOT it. Ok, let's boost this rating up a notch and 1/2. “I've ordered here a few times, but this most recent time I ordered the outlaw, with a few small changes to fit my preferences, and it was the first time I had it; it was one of the best subs I've ever had if not the best. He greets every customer at the door. By far, the best fast food experience and it is ALL because of Jose. He also delegates staff well and treats them with kindness.
