“My new go to Chinese takeout. This place has been around for 30 years. Must be doing something right. Standard takeout menu but authentic Cantonese taste. Price still very reasonable compared to all other places that jacked up their prices.“

“Uniquely seasoned food served promptly and pleasantly. Outdoor seating is available in a private booth design that's very 'public' since it's on the sidewalk. The interior design is remincent of authentic Chinese culture with wooden dragons carved in the wall. You can sit at the bar or sit in the main dining area. The culinary delights are streamed, gluten free or lightly fried. The chilli sauce/oil is a nice surprise it's fragrant with a hint of perfume of anise, cardamom and clove, amongst other herbs,all smothered in oils and Sichuan pepper. I highly recommend this spot.“

“Came here on a Sunday for a late lunch and it was pretty empty inside and outside. I was excited to try the newer location - the menu looks to be the same at all of the Dan Dan locations. The food came out insanely quick (almost a little too quick) and was exactly how I expected it. I would rank the Dan Dan locations in this order for both food and service: 1) Center City, 2) Ardmore, 3) Wayne. The natural lighting was beautiful and there's a section that looks like a sunroom/patio situation. I would love to sit there next time.“

“Ordered lunch takeout. 3 rolls of your choice for $15. Salad can be added for an additional $1. Sushi had more filling than rice (probably a good thing for most people), rice a relatively thin layer around the rim. Any more rice, the sushi would probably not have fit into the plastic box. Plenty of food for the price. I wouldn't call this high grade stuff but workaday. You can tell from the rice itself, which could be seasoned a little more, but tasty enough. I find Wegman's sushi acceptable enough. Will be delicious enough for most except the gourmand. Comes with soy sauce on the side in small plastic containers. Also get the usual (fake) wasabi and preserved ginger slices. Website uses 'Mealkeyway.' Don't know if there is an upcharge compared to just ordering by phone. 15% tip included by default when you check out (you have to click on custom to change this to zero if you don't believe in tipping for orders you are picking up yourself). They also offer Chinese/Thai dishes.“

“Well, we went here for pick up after hearing good things.The food was okay. The pork fried rice was flavorful, but the rice seemed a bit overcooked. Daughter liked her beef lo mein just fine. The beef and black bean sauce was not what hubby and I are used to when we go to Chinatown. Very few black beans, actually, mostly chopped veggies and some beef. The flavor was good, but they did not give us the white rice it was supposed to come with. The service was fast.“

“This place is legit. Spicy, but they nail the spice level exactly what I wanted (your mileage may vary). Fast service, nothing special but very polite. The dining room has a college area vibe, stripped down and simple but clean. It's all about really good, fresh, well-executed, spicy Sichuan food. I'm a fan!“

Their sushi chefs (John & Yanni) are both amazingly talented and they have created custom sushi rolls for me according to my preferred fish and other ingredients. Presentation is awesome as is the freshness and tasty items they prepare. Linda and her Manager (Cindy) are so welcoming and very attentive to their guests...making everyone feel like a VIP!! I didn't realize that they were going to close this beautiful location, so it was very special that we went there for my son's birthday celebration! They were slammed because of all the people who were trying to get one last amazing meal before they close on March 19, 2024, but the food remained absolutely amazing, flavorful, and beautifully presented! “

“This place always delivers fresh hot food to us quickly ! They always critique our food to our liking every time with no mistakes. I can't recall ever having any issues, and we call this place usually at least once a week. I love their bourbon chicken, pork fried rice, general tsao chicken, and teriyaki chicken on a stick are some of our favorites from them. Staff is wonderful and very very polite, delivery drivers are always quick and personally thank you every time for the tip.“

It's the little things: green beans and carrots in the Hot and Sour Soup, nice, fried orange rind in the General Taos, at a takeout joint?! Homemade fried chili flake sauce with the dumplings, word. “Best General Tso's chicken I haver ever had. And through the years I have had many different restaurants General Tso's chicken and by far, this was the best. All the takeout Chinese that I have been to, all give you two pieces of broccoli. I got at least 7-10 pieces of perfectly steamed broccoli. The chicken was cooked to perfection. My food was very fresh and delicious. The price was the cheapest, I ever paid for a large General tso's Chicken. I will come here again, and try other dishes.“

“Hunan Palace is take out only. That doesn't bother us at all. This was our first visit. The food here is much better than our former Chinese restaurant. We ordered a variety of items; springrolls, general tso chicken, beef and broccoli, bbq spare ribs, chicken on a stick, vegetable lo mein. We felt the springrolls could have used a little more flavor but that's just our opinion. Every other dish was excellent. Plenty of sauce on all the dishes. The spare ribs were tender and moist not dry or stringy as they can be from other restaurants. Their chicken on a stick is prepared differently than I had ever had it. It had a light coating on it. No dried out, leathery chicken here! We will definitely be making Hunan Palace our regular chinese restaurant.“
