The dough is just slightly golden baked to perfection with the inside ingredients filled to every angle with just the perfect amount of crust left to enjoy. New management or owners perhaps? “I was fortunate enough to be introduced to this café by a Dominican coworker. Since moving to Hazleton I have been disappointed by the seemingly total lack of cafés in the area. I love it here! The coffee is delicious and everything is made fresh, not left out sitting in display cases. We also tried some pastolitos (honestly not sure how to spell that!), and they were excellent. The dining area is bright, comfortable, immaculately clean, and very welcoming. Highly recommended!”

“This is a small restaurant, but I can assure you that the service, the food and the atmosphere are excellent. Most of their customers order food for takeout and pickup. But you can also go to eat there. I can say that it is there where I have eaten the most delicious pig's ears, I mean here in the United States. There the girls in the dining room will give you first-class attention. Anyway, I really liked this place. I should mention that it is Hispanic food, more Dominican than anything else.”

She and Cheri are the most efficient in the breakfast morning moving along like a fine oiled machine. Warming the coffee just in time for the next sip, Always getting the order correct, very attentive to every customer not just their own. Sharon makes me laugh-a nice start to the day! “Just got back from Leo’s Little Kitchen on Cedar St. Very easy to get to and plenty of parking. The staff was welcoming and it was bright and clean! I enjoyed my toasted bagel with cream cheese on-site at their seating area and took more baked goods to go. Check this place out and support the school and the students who have made this dream come alive in Hazleton!”

From the outside you cant tell its a full blown restaurant/ bar. Once inside you will be shocked on the space area. Free off street parking. Very spacious and roomy inside. Large Bar with plenty of stools to sit and sip. They do not currently take cards for payment. CashApp or Zelle payments only.”

Had a nice selection of games......coin pusher, pool, darts and even an electric beer pong machine among others. Staff was nice and place was extremely clean also. It's 100% a bar so expect the bar scene, people and environment.

That being said, I didn't like the food, and the atmosphere seemed cleaned, and quiet ? I would certainly try again, but this time with my usual order for Chinese food. Then, I can compare and contrast.

Parking: Free parking on the right of the property. There's also parking in front.

Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't notice anything inhibiting a wheelchair from entering the establishment!”

“I very much enjoyed visiting this store 2 weeks ago. I bought and am still enjoying T&L's pierogies, farmer's cheese and sauerkraut. Farmer's cheese is hard to come by and to me, is more traditional than potato and cheese. These are nicely made and generously filled. I was equally delighted to try their kolbasy "Lonczynski's". Nicely seasoned, it harkens back to local favorite Green View Meats that no longer exists. The taste of of this kolbasy brought me back. You never forget the flavors that you grew up with. Pay T&L a visit in downtown Hazleton, or buy their pierogies in local stores such as Boyers. Wegmans also carries. I can speak definitively on the kolbasy's availability. You should be able to buy at the Chestnut St. store. The owner recommends placing orders for holidays such as Easter. I'm delighted to have a new Hazleton business to add to my errands whenever I'm in town.”

“Unbelievable meatballs! And I rarely eat meatballs anywhere. My daughter-in-law was the smartest of the four of us-she ordered the meatball hoagie. Then she gave us all bites of the meatballs! Wow!! I couldn’t believe how good they were. Absolutely terrific! Stop in and try it! You won’t be sorry! Bring cash as they don’t use credit cards. It’s not expensive. I won’t be in Hazleton again without stopping here! Thank you Third Base!!”

“Stopped in for a quick one, actually two, on a very hot day. Met Bill, a very nice, older gentleman/owner. No one else was there, so Bill gave me the rundown on the last 30 years. Very interesting. Also, the draught beer was nice and cold. Nice place, for a quick one, or two!”

“The restaurant is a bit off the beaten past. It’s definitely a neighborhood favorite. The food is tasty, just the right amount of spices. The beef in the beef stew was of good quality. The fried plantains were very good and the different rices were a welcome surprise. The young woman behind the counter could not have been nicer. She was upbeat and truly eager to help. She took the time to explain each of the dishes to us. I was glad to see both of the women behind the counter had their hair back and covered. The other diners appeared to be regulars, who were all genuinely happy to see each other. There is a real feeling of community. They all tried to make us feel welcome. If you find yourself in Hazleton, by all means go. If you live in Hazleton, go, or order delivery.”

“Disappointed with my most recent experience. I come here a lot and always did because it was always very consistent and I always knew I would get a good meal and service. Well last night the service was not good but I can understand that. There were few waitresses on and it was busy. To start we ordered the long hots for an appetizer but they came out as just long hots and not stuffed as it said under starters. When asked about this we were told that the plain long hots are an appetizer and the stuffed ones are an entree but I looked at the menu and could only find the stuffed long hots. Bread was not given to us, we had to ask for it which normally isn’t the case it usually comes out right after your order is taken. I had ordered the antipasto with steak and they used to be huge. Last night it was small and there was barely any lunch meat on it. I also ordered it with steak. They used to be normal steak cuts, the steak on it last night was over cooked and looked like the scraps I cut off a steak to save for my dog. I also asked for no olives and balsamic dressing and it came out covered in black olives and with Italian dressing. The waitress also took my salad while I was still eating it and asked if I was still eating it while she already had it in her hand. Very disappointed and don’t know if we’ll be back for a while.”

“I had just went to little caesar’s, the customer service was HORRIBLE!! it was a younger girl with bleached blonde hair, she couldn’t understand anything i was saying. i had said “light on sauce” about 3 times & she kept saying “no sauce”, she looked clueless, i had said have a goodnight twice & she just looked at me cluelessly. Overall the pizza was amazing!! God bless the boys back there”

They screwed up the 3 whopper sandwiches so later on they made it right by giving us new ones. So at that time we ordered more food. My brother got a whopper and a meal with chicken nuggets and they forgot them. Also he paid $5 for 1 whopper and there’s a deal 2/$5. Shouldn’t they have asked him if they were the same price for 2.
