“I absolutely love it here. The food is always delicious and fresh. The bread he makes by scratch and you can tell. The breads are not heavy and they do not have all the filler that grocery stores have. The breads are all light and flakey. The asiago bagels are amazing!!! The smash burgers are the best around. Family atmosphere. Everyone is so polite, personable, and friendly. I go at least once a week. Amazing breakfast and lunch spot. Casual meetings or friends meeting, the perfect place.”

“As fairly new residents of Johnstown, we found out about Scott's by Dam through co-workers who raved about the food. They were right. Everything we had was great. The menu has a lot to offer. The place isn't big by any stretch of the imagination but as soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted like old friends by Scott. He came by our table to check on us several times during our meal and cracked some jokes and interacted with all of his customers. What was especially endearing was the way he interacted with a mom and her young daughter who came in to pickup an order to go. They were obviously regulars and Scott leaned down and handed the little girl a bag of potato chips and she lit up. Scott and his wife are huge supporters of the Johnstown Tomahawks so it's nice to have a local family owned business that cares about the community. We will definitely be back!”

“Everything at Sal's is always delicious and the prices are always great. Been getting pizza here for several years now and recently tried the deep dish Sicilian pizza and the mild wings. The deep dish pizza was very good and the mild wings were some of the best that I ever had!! My only mistake was not ordering more than a dozen!! Thanks for the delicious food!!!”

“Everyone should have a coffee spot...and this is a honey! Good location, looks out across Gazebo Park. Eclectic vibe, vintage typewriter motif is FUN! Baristas are creative AND friendly whatta combo. They brew a lovely cuppa as well Friendly fellow coffee-niks not intrusive...had a chat then settled in to read a bit. Lots of room to work in the back. Menu varies so it's always interesting. Try it...you'll like it ?”

“My go to for new places is always a chicken salad sandwich, and I must say I give the flood city cafe the credit for having the best. The sandwich tasted homemade and the croissant was beyond crispy but also the right amount of fresh. The macaroni could use more cheese but also tasted very fresh and homemade. Lastly the ice coffee we got was a 10/10. I’ve tried a lot of coffee and yet again, this coffee would probably be one of my favorites I’ve ever tried. Definitely recommend stopping by. Great energy from staff and beautiful cafe.”

“The only worker I seen in the establishment was manning the cash register and cooking and still managed to remain extremely kind and friendly, even when we had no idea what we wanted to order and changed our minds several times. We forgot to mention we wanted these yummy fried chips were used to getting as an appetizer from our regular place before we paid but instead of charging us for them he just threw them in for free and also insisted we grab a couple drinks on the house. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience at a Chinese place before, and in my experience the workers at most places like this tend to be unfriendly and even rude. The best part was by far the food though! It was HOT, fresh, and hands down the absolute BEST Chinese food I’ve ever eaten (might not mean much coming from a scrawny gal like myself but I used to be 300+ lbs and trust me, I’ve eaten my fair share of Chinese cuisine ???) I got the sesame chicken which is my usual order no matter where I go but THIS HIT SOOO DIFFERENT. And I’ll leave you with one final note; ORDER EXTRA EGG ROLLS, trust me, you’ll regret it if you don’t… we didn’t and we said multiple times throughout the evening that we wished we had more!”

“Wow! What a wonderful restaurant! I live in Atlanta and it can be hard to find a great Jamaican restaurant in my town of 9 million. But, look no further Johnstown residents! I could not decide between the j*** chicken and the oxtails. So, I got both! Each one was fall off the bone tender and the juices soaked up the rice.And, the collards and the cabbage are outstanding. I am not sure what the secret ingredient is in each vegetable, but they are very tasty.I will try a vegetable plate next time as I will try the other vegetables too.This is a very welcome addition to the community. The atmosphere was great and it was an overall great experience. The environment was not as intimate and claustrophobic as you might expect from looking at the pictures. Incredible food menu. I appreciate so much when waiters leave me alone and let me drink and chill in peace without me feeling rushed! I was there for probably 3 hours, so I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a place to chill a few hours. I would love to come back and try more food on their menu”

“As far as cool locations go, this is probably THE COOLEST locale i have ever seen. Beautiful giant windows looking out over the city of Johnstown, which is actually very green, leafy and a bit gritty (in a good way) all at the same time. They have a great bar, there was live music last night in the bar, and it sounded fantastic. Our server was Jane, and she was a very good sport (obnoxious brother with us), and a VERY good server. Drinks came out promptly, and were made perfectly by a bartender who knows his craft...our food was delicious, you sometimes worry you are trading breathtaking views for mediocre food, but that is NOT the case at Asiagos. From the salads, to the pasta, everything was top notch. Westmont (where our party all hail from but now live elsewhere) is LUCKY to have this charming establishment and i hope its there for a long long time so we an enjoy a great meal whenever we come home to visit.”

“Ohio st has always been my go to bar when I do go out. Its comfy, bar tenders are cool, bathroom is clean (with nice big mirror in womens room). You can still smoke inside! They usually play rock music (not to loud so you can have a conversation). No drama. Also they make the best Alabama Slammers.”

The waitress was very nice about it and they took the meal off my bill. My wife was very happy with her meal. The menu looked great. “Applebee's is a hit or miss. Sometimes I go in there the staff is great and the food is great. Other times I go in and the staff is okay at best. Sometimes the staff have attitudes. I have been there multiple times and had to send my food back because it was cold. My chicken on my wonton taco was so cold it needed a jacket!!! This has happened multiple times that the cooks have sent out food cold. The manager will usually make it right by re-doing it or taking it off the bill. But, too many times has my food come out cold. Applebee's is getting better with the alcoholic drinks and making them so they taste like they have alcohol in there and it is not just juice. Great price on the couple of late night specials they have.”

“I admit, I was a little skeptical because of the reviews. Honestly though, I think they were made when the place just opened and it was super busy. Stuff happens.This is my first time eating Chipotle ever. I ordered a burrito bowl and they put on everything I ordered and they were generous. The burrito bowl was also constructed beautifully.The only slightly negative thing is the price point, but I think it's worth it for better quality ingredients. When I can afford it, I'm definitely coming back.”

“The Fish Sandwich was Very Good..BUT....They put the tarter sauce with the lettuce it made it a messy sandwich. They need to assemble the Sandwiches like shown in the picture. Tartar on the top lettuce on the bottom.”

“Honestly, we were there for a concert and were looking forward to the seafood buffet. When we showed up no one else was there therefore I feel like they didn’t realize dinner had started so lunch was still on the buffet however once we mentioned why we were there they brought everything out fresh immediately. The young girl serving our table was super sweet and it seemed like it was just her and one young man in the back who makes some amazing buffet food. I’ll probably be back. I don’t enjoy large crowds and it was perfect for us ? if you’re going there for a regular buffet pls don’t expect that. Everything is covered as if it would be for catering to keep it warm and fresh. Don’t be like the fella berating the young girl for things she can’t control and having to do “extra work just to see what’s inside” lift the lid it wont kill you”
