“Forever was the first Chinese restaurant we discovered after we moved from NJ to Mainline Philly in 2017. We quickly got hooked on their refined Szechuan style Chinese dishes. They are very tasteful but less spicy than in China That's perfect to our tastes. We frequently saw many Chinese students in Philly driving out to dine in Forever. And we also kept coming back. During COVID 19 pandemic we were quite worried that the restaurant might close the door. So we tried to come to eat if allowed or take out if dinning in was not possible. Over time I developed some favorite dishes and anytime I went, I always got exactly the same style and taste for my dishes. The consistency has been amazing! In my view, Forever is the best Chinese restaurant outside I476 around KOP and along Mainline.“
“Ordered delivery and food arrived quickly! Everything was hot and the boxes were overflowing. I only wish the combos explained what came with the meal. I wound up ordering a $10 quart of fried rice because I didn’t realize the combo came with it.“
“This place was not too bad especially for a mall food court. The service was fast, staff attentive, food was pretty good and portions were more than I could handle. I would not hesitate to go back. “Every visit has been amazing!After every visit, I've realized we were so excited when we got the sushi that I didn't take a single picture of it.This happened yet again tonight... so here is a picture of our receipt and our sushi loving adorable son!We'd get all these rolls again, the last few visits we've gotten the Amazing Tuna and the Geisha rolls while trying a rotation of their other specialty rolls.The Amazing Tuna~ has the BEST sauces 100%Geisha~ great texture, nice go to rollAsuka Bazooka~ we tend to like creative flavor melds but we never would have thought of adding bacon to sushi before and it really works. The jalapeños were a bit spicy, but it was well balanced.Three Musketeers~ visually it looks like too much to tobiko but when you eat a piece it melds perfectly with the quantity of fish in the roll.Tempura Lobster~ was good and exactly as described. It just maybe needed another layer of flavor or texture to really make it sing like the other rolls we enjoyed.The best part of the night was when our son got 'hired' to advertise! He truly does Eat. Sleep. Sushi. Repeat. and he LOVES the Poseidon sushi. The server and manager were great, esp with him.Our drinks were never empty, and they did a wonderful job being present without being intrusive.Can't wait to come back!“
“Delicious! I really enjoyed the general tso’s with broccoli, the chili oil is a nice addition as well to the dish with white rice. I lived up in New Jersey for a long time and I’ve noticed that Chinese food wasn’t very good in the Philadelphia area when I was living there recently. Very happy. “We were looking for Chinese delivery and this food was outstanding as well as quick. I got the coconut shrimp...OMG..delish. Two shrimp filled me up. We also got the classic General Tso chicken, shrimp rolls, and steamed dumplings for all to share. The food was loved by all. Great job.“
“Well, we went here for pick up after hearing good things.The food was okay. The pork fried rice was flavorful, but the rice seemed a bit overcooked. Daughter liked her beef lo mein just fine. The beef and black bean sauce was not what hubby and I are used to when we go to Chinatown. Very few black beans, actually, mostly chopped veggies and some beef. The flavor was good, but they did not give us the white rice it was supposed to come with. The service was fast.“
